We like their attitude and there attitude is that we will make it right. We are on Angies List and want to stay that way. They did a good job.

They were good. I just paid them a week ago because they kind of damaged the wall in the process of installing the unit and they fixed it. Everyone that I talked to over there was nice. They did not charge us until they fixed the problem so I thought that that was good. They were nice to talk to and they seemed fair when we kind of called about different prices on replacing our unit. Their responsiveness was good because it just took them a second to fix our wall but then they did not charge us. So, in a way, it was like we did not have to pay for the air conditioner for a long time. I think that they had been busy with the summer but they did good.

They outdid everybody else in pricing. They're a wonderful company. My husband did the dealing with them and he was very impressed with the guys that came out and they gave us a reasonable quote. They didn't try to gouge us.

Technician was courteous and seemed to know his job. Everything works now so no complaint there. Work was scheduled in a timely manner. However, prior to the work date, I arranged with the office to break up the cost of the service. I was to pay $500 at time of service and the balance on the 15th of the following month. When the technician finished his work and it came time to pay he had no knowledge of this arrangement. After the technician called the office, the arrangement was confirmed, and payment was made. Upon receiving my credit card statement, the entire balance had been charged to my card. The apparent lack of communication between the technician and the office (I believe the office to be at fault, not the technician), and simply not doing what was agreed to in reference to payment is the reason for the low score for professionalism. Again, this score is reflective of the office, and not the technician. Update: Issue was resolved. Rating adjusted.

We have dealt with Cape Fear A/C and Heating Company, Inc. for many years. They have a great service staff and office personnel, and our technician, Frank, is an outstanding, honest and dependable worker. We tell everyone we know to choose this company for their HVAC needs. Our contract with them costs $182.50 for our quarterly servicing, plus any non-covered parts are, of course, extra. We wouldn't trust any other company to handle our HVAC needs, and they have earned our business until it is no longer necessary.

I like everything about them, they gave us a good price upfront. They performed the service right on time and did it professionally and we are happy with the results. I would highly recommend them. I would definitely use them again in the future.

I received my usual reminder call from Cape Fear Heating & A/C saying it was time for my seasonal check up for my heat pump. I scheduled the appointment for June 14, 2012 at 4:30 pm. The technician showed up a little early. He was very professional, completed all of the checks and was done by 5:00. I am very pleased with my association with Cape Fear Heating and A/C.

The former house owners used Cape Fear AC. When they came to look at a leak they found some wood was rotting and replaced it for free. When we were looking to put a new Heat Pump in they advised as to the different kinds. They left the choice up to us, they didn't push it on us. They are honest people.
