My A/C was not working. Bobby came out on 8/20 and diagnosed the problem within 10 minutes. Came back on 8/21 with the replacement fan unit and installed it less than 24 hours from the initial call. Air Experts called for both visits to give me a 30-45 minute heads up that their tech was on the way. At the diagnostic visit, he took a pic of the unit with his phone and was immediately able to order up a replacement. VERY impressive, especially since the outside temp was in the mid 90s. I've had mixed results with A/C service/repair companies over the years, but this is among my best. Highly recommended!

From start to finish, they made the entire process painless. Curtis was the original tech that came out to look at why our old unit was having issues. We knew it was getting close to needing either some major work, or just plain replaced. It's never been able to regulate the temp of the house (2 level). Always had to play games with the dampers to get the cold/hot air to where we needed it. Curtis recommended the parts we needed to repair the unit we had, although the company that had serviced the unit previously had put the wrong size capacitor on (~4 yrs before). Not really knowing what else would fail because of that, we took the opportunity to replace it with a more efficient system. Dave came out the same day and really took his time making sure we fully understood all options available to us and answering our questions. He explained the financing options in simple terms too. ~12 hrs after Dave left, we had the installers on site starting to work on removing the old system. They made quick work of putting in the new system too and we sort of had working system ~6 hrs after they started. I say sort of because there was a small issue with the transformer not being big enough on the unit in the attic. This was causing the fuse on the Zone board to blow. They figured the problem out though and the new system is working great. We can actually stand to be in our bonus room during the summer now!

After getting our heat repaired in Feb. and then having air condition problems start up in March; we were advised to get a new ac/heater due to the large cost associated with repairing our 20 yr old unit. The sales rep was extremely helpful and informative. He showed us price estimates from other competitors [a lot of them given from home owners that had tried these companies], along with gave us the best heater/ac suited to cater our families needs, and offered several great finance options. By the end of it, we had all of our duct work re done underneath the house [which was badly needed due to damage over the years] and our AC/heating unit was able to be scheduled and done in one work day. Since then, not only has our electronic bill went down; but the AC/heater is able to cool the whole house [unlike our old unit]. Plus, with the newly installed filters the air is easier to breathe. Air Experts exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend them to everyone.

Arrived early, very professional, thorough and fast. Repair time was about an hour. Pricing was very high for parts. When I called him he said parts pricing included a warranty. So the $28 Capacitor was charged $128 and repairing/connecting 3-4 wires to Capacitor was additional $111.

Everything went well; the technician, Matt, was a straight-shooter, told me what the problem was, gave me a couple of options, and upon further discussion, gave him permission to go ahead and take off the excess coolant. My system is very old (over 20 years), so there's not much more that can be done but to just keep it running until I can afford to replace it. Again, Matt was a straight-shooter and I appreciate that.

The technician was here for a few minutes he informed us we needed a new coil to stop a leak which would be very expensive.I wanted to get a second opinion since I felt like the first technician really didn't give me options. I hired a different company who came out and give me multiple options that would extend the life of my A/C unit a lower cost.

I was expecting to be told that I had a big problem and handed a big bill but he checked it over put in 2lbs of Freon and running great again. They could of taken advantage of me in the summer heat but didn't. I would recommend them to anyone who needs HVAC service.

I recently purchased a Big Deal offer with Air Experts Heating and Cooling on coupon code HVAC-1288735-1. We called Air Experts and scheduled an appointment to visit the house on the 28th of May, 2014. We spoke to Air Experts on Monday and they asked if they could come out on the 26th, Monday and we said no because we were not going to be at the house. We confirmed the 28the of May appointment. Air Experts never showed up on the 28th of May as agreed and we would like a credit of $29 applied to the credit card as Air Experts never showed up.

I only had 2 issues with the service call. The first was that he arrived about an hour after the time range given for the appointment. However, since the appointment was at the end of the day, I can understand if he was running late. I do think a quick call earlier in the evening to alert me that he was running late would have been good. I was impressed that he went ahead and came that late and completed the work, instead of rescheduling to another day. The second issue was that he incorrectly charged for the diagnostic fee. I had purchased a coupon for $29 for a diagnostic service call online through Angie's List before calling for the service. I showed Curtis the coupon when he was figuring the bill. He ended up charging me $29 for the diagnostic service (although I had already paid the $29 via credit card before calling.) So I ending up paying $58 for the diagnostic service, instead of $29. That was still a discount compared with the normal $89 fee, so I didn't bother calling to get the issue corrected.

I have a two story home with two separate systems. I had a heat pump up stairs and a gas pack down. Every thing needed to be replaced. I have used this company for service and liked the way they did business. I used another company for a service and was not comfortable with their approach. When it became evident that my systems needed replacement I called air experts. Dave came over promptly and give me many options. After our discussion I decided not to replace my gas pack but to go with 2 systems for downstairs. I saw Dave on a Thursday and had an install date of Monday. Aaron, Chucky, Ryan, Adulfo arrived on time on Monday and got right to work. Everyone was professional and efficient. Because I chose a new type of system it took 2 days for everything to be completed. However they made sure I had air conditioning restored by Monday evening. I would recommend this company of any of your hvac needs.

Well, other companies were willing to come out and do a diagnostic service call for free, so I don't think this is a good deal. Plus, they are much more interested in selling you a new system than on fixing the one you have. Granted the one we had was probably not worth fixing, and we could easily have gone with their recommendation to fix what was wrong with it, but ended up buying a new system instead.

That turned out fine. Once technician came out and he did the inspection on my heating unit. He was efficient and nice.

Technician arrived as scheduled. His assessment was that our home was constructed with R-6 ductwork, which is not as well insulated as what is installed these days. He recommended a crawl space fan to move the air through the crawl space and try to reduce the high moisture content that could lead to mold.

This was a truly fantastic service call. I purchased an Angie's List coupon, then called. They had a technician in the area, and he was at my hours 30 minutes later! He was professional, polite, and knowledgeable. He did the work in about an hour, explained my options to me clearly, and charged me a fair price for the excellent work he did. We paid $29 for the coupon, the total for the work came to $100 (to fix a clogged exhaust system), and our tech (Kyle--who was great) just charged us for the difference. He also recommended several additional services we could consider in the future, gave us clear estimates for all of them, and was on his way. The whole experience was great. I will definitely use Air Experts in the future -- and I'll be telling my neighbors to do the same!

Punctuality wasn't great. Said they'd be here between 8-9, came at 9:30. The rest is a long story, but their expertise depends a lot on which tech you get.

It went quite well. The technician was actually early, he did his work quickly and efficiently.

Once my husband and I decided to replace our gaspack, we requested quotes from four vendors. Air Experts proposal and solution was the MOST expensive considering it included parts and labor we did not need . We bought from another company and are very happy we did. Had Air Experts technician guided us, as the vendors who followed him did, and informed us of the possibility of a leak, we would not have spent and wasted money in adding refrigerant. When we call an expert we expect him to tell us what's wrong and the best course of action. We cannot ask for service, such as checking for leaks, if we don't know it's needed!. It seems disingenuous at best, that such an experienced maintenance man, given the age and condition of our gas pack (12 years), would not know it immediately there was a massive leak. We found him hosing the compressor "to save it" as he put it. We believed him! And still without any additional feedback, he went ahead and sold us the coolant! His first visit cost us $373.00. And the second, which he must have anticipated it would be coming, $89.00. He made us make one call too many! During these last weeks we have been educated by the various vendors we have met, so we now know that if there is no leak, the refrigerant lasts for the lifetime of the equipment. We made our dissatisfaction known to the Air Experts Project Manager when we met him. David Hepner is extremely articulate and pleasant. It is hard to find a better salesman! And he promised in writing to refund us for the second visit, several weeks ago, but never did. We can only guess there was some unspoken condition to it. We think we should be refunded for the wasted refrigerant too!!!

I have friends that have used Air Experts and rated the company and their service technicians very high. So I was not surprised when my service tech. was prompt, professional and knowledgeable. He explained the service options in detail and did not try to bias my decision toward a more expensive option. He worked quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend them and would use them again in the future.

Very professional. Gave extremely candid and great feedback about the systems. A little pricey for just cleaning the burners (recommended service), but overall I felt it was fair.

The entire process from deciding I needed a new heat pump to having an air conditioned home took less than 1 week. The gentlemen were experts and very professional. They did not have a problem showing me their identification, wore shoe covers in my home, cleaned up any mess made outside, and waited until my unit was cooling before they left. I was called the next day to see how satisfied I was with the service and the new system. I can't say enough wonderful things about this company. I know why it is on the top of Angie's list.

I had purchased an analysis and maintenance package through Angie's List. The appointment was set up on a Monday (at my convenience). On the previous Saturday morning, I realized my thermostat was not working. I called the number on the thermostat, but also called Air Experts at the same time. Of course, Air Experts returned my call first. The admin I talked to pointed me to an Angie's List deal on a service call that was much cheaper than their normal service charge. They sent a person (Kyle) out within 3 hours. Kyle was knowledgeable and realized what it could be right away. He verified it was a switch but did not have one on his truck. He went and bought the switch and returned within the hour. He swapped the switch, showed me the damaged one, and only charged me for the part (and no extra labor charge), since his company was coming out on Monday for a full analysis of my air conditioning unit. On the following Monday, David came out. He looked at everything carefully and suggested a dual run capacitor. Again, this technician charged me for the part only with no extra labor charges. He also suggested that I might need coolant/Freon. I asked him if it would last through the rest of the summer and he said maybe. He said the level had not gone down fast but a leak search might be necessary if the level dropped dramatically. Needless to say, I should have listened to David's recommendations. My air conditioner stopped a couple of weeks later. I called and was informed that there would be no service charge because I was covered under the previous visit. The technician (I think Bobby was his name) came out the same day (this was on a Friday afternoon), realized it was frozen, instructed me to turn everything off so it could thaw. I was going out of town the next day so he said to call when I got back. I did not call because it was a cool weekend (I was very grateful for that), but they had already set me up for an appointment on Monday morning. He looked at it, added the suggested coolant, and provided instructions for me (watching to see if it was freezing up again). The unit is 8 years old and Air Experts have saved me the cost of a new unit (so far).It has been easier for me to fork out small amounts of cash for maintenance rather than a very large amount at one time (before I have to, anyway).

They came out and looked at our unit, but they weren't able to fix it. I had to have someone else come out to fix it.
