Curtis was great! He was efficient and knowledgeable, and provided information so I understood the status of the furnace. Wore booties over shoes inside the house. Easy to talk to.

The Good: The service tech showed up on time. Very polite Professional Quick The Bad: Cost was high. A capacitor only costs $10-20 and take at max 15 minutes to swap out. However my bill was $200. Doing the math... $180/15minuntes = $720/hr. Seems excessive. IMO - In end a good service performed, just a higher price than it really should have been.

This was a great experience. Dave came to the house and spent 2 hrs going over our system, calculating the heated/cooled area, and going through every possible detail of the available systems and options. He took a tremendous amount of time to ensure that I totally understood what I needed, energy ratings, and advantages/disadvantages of all the different models. When he finished, I felt like I really knew what I needed and what I was buying. The installation team was punctual and professional. They installed system quickly, explained the operation of the new system and thermostat, and left a clean work site. It was a very good experience all around

Experts did an excellent job inspecting and notifying me on issues that were currently existing with my HVAC system.

Air Experts arrived when they said they would. They were courteous and professional. They wore shoe covers to prevent outside dirt from coming into my house. They cleaned out all the air ducts in my house, moving furniture when necessary. They made sure to put the furniture back in place after they were finished. They completed their work in a timely manner. They were also very nice to me and my two big (but friendly) dogs. :-)

It went great. This is my third experience with Air Experts and my second experience with Curtis. I would definitely ask for Curtis next time too! He explained how the system in my new (old) house worked. My furnace is ready for winter.

My heat pump would not come on and thermostat read it as having no power. The first technician spent about 4 hours tyring to diagnose problem and then called in a senior tech who in about 10 minutes stated the problem was the transformer. I was impressed with the effort by the first guy, but he basically checked everything I had already done and just did not seem to have any real technical knowledge. The second guy was also really fair because he left me with a quote of $500 to fix the problem, but he areed that I could likely swap out the transformer for about a $100 myself if I had a litte bit of electrical know how. Despite all the time they spent, they honored the$30 coupon and that is all I was charged. And I did ultimatley swap out the transformer myself and am back up and running. Overall, I was pleased. I think $500 to swap out a transformer is high, but I didn't pay it and while the first guy took forever, he tried his best and called in a senior guy rather than trying to sell me a new heat pump - which is what a lot of others would have done.

It goes smoothly and professionally, though in our case, it's expensive.

Gathering the quote was an exercise in patience. The salesman made a rather serious error in the final number, which the company stood by. This was very commendable, but as revered as this company is on AngiesList, I was confident that they would. The crew took two days for the installation, as the install was multifaceted and complicated. I can honestly say that I've never seen such tireless dedication to perfection. These guys were so careful and mindful of appearances, taking such deliberate steps to ensure the final product would seamlessly blend in, I was dumbfounded. All I can say is, do business with them. Do it. Stop messing around. Do it.

They did a thorough job, and there were no issues with their customer service or with scheduling.

Air Experts responded quickly and worked with my tenant to arrange a time to come out and look at the system. I had purchased a $29 Diagnostic Check which covered the service call and troubleshooting. The technician, as relayed by my tenant, was professional and courteous. He inspected the system and said there is a likely leak and that he could add freon to the system to bring the cooling function back to normal. Technician installed 3# of R22 freon. System has worked well since. As stated, everything went well with scheduling and executing the service call. The only real issue was the price they charged for freon. Based on several sites, I found the price to be rather high. In particular, the article here on Angie's List implied I was gouged: http://www.angieslist.com/articles/are-you-paying-too-much-freon.htm While I appreciate responsive and professional service, I do expect a fair price to be charged on materials. I can't speak to the wholesale costs their supplier charges them, but after reviewing on-line options for R22, I found multiple sources that were much less expensive (as low as $10/lb). I understand freon is not a do-it-yourself job and labor inevitably gets added to the price, but that should be reflected on the first pound; the second and third pounds should be much closer to cost. I was charged $128 for the first pound and $98 each for the next two. Not comfortable with the markup here.

We bought the deal on Friday night,called First thing Saturday and hoped to get a call back on Saturday as it was hot out and we just replaced the unit in 2011 and didn't want to go without a/c. We were hoping it was something simple, which it was. They called back a few hours later and someone came that afternoon. We are very grafeful for their quick response, and also for not charging us a weekend rate as a first time customer and understanding needs come up on weekends. Luckily it wasn't Sunday which may have been different. They were very nice, professional and helpful.

THEY DID USUAL MAINTENANCE TWICE FOR THE SUMMER ON THE AIR COND.AND WILL |BE BACK FOR THE WINTER FOR TWO VISITS TO CECK ON HEATIG ELEMENTS.
