They arrived on time and did what supposed to do and did what they were supposed to do.

I have used them before, about a year ago. We went with them for a maintenance contract. They came back to take care of a buzzing noise too. I am pleased with what they did. They are doing service for two of our homes.

Dave Hepner, Project Manager of Air Experts called to my house to give me a quote for a new HVAC to serve my 2nd floor as my existing 17 year old system was showing signs of age. He gave me very detailed information about the system he would recommend and why he would recommend it. He appeared very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his job and it was a pleasure doing business with him. They were able to perform the work the very next day and the technicians arrived early and were very polite and courteous. They were even very patient with my dog and were able to work around her without me having to lock her in a room out of their way. This meant a lot to me. They worked hard and completed the job by the middle of the afternoon, cleaned up after themselves and made sure I was happy with everything they had done. I was delighted with the price and the professionalism of this company. Dave called me himself the next day to make sure that I was happy with the work that had been done. The office is preparing my rebate forms and I should have them this week to submit for over $500 in rebates. I use this company for my annual maintenance and have done for three years now. I only have good things to say about them. Thank you Air Experts.

The work turned out very well. They did a very good job. They scheduled everything well. They were on time and thorough and I am very pleased with their work.

We used them for a basic tune-up and diagnosis. It was fine. After the diagnosis though, we did not use their recommendation. Their recommendation was to replace our unit with a whole new system. I contacted a third party since we thought the system had more years left. They said that it did not need to be replaced yet. We did have to reschedule once with Air Experts Heating & Cooling after buying the deal, but they were very responsive.

The technician was professional and thorough. The results of the inspection were explained to me.

Technician arrived as scheduled and was very considerate of keeping my carpet clean. He thoroughly explained all details to me of his procedure before and after which I appreciated. I would use them again.

It did not work out very well. The service tech did arrive on time for the appointment. I had no issues with the technician. The tech that came out was very good. He was professional and he found some stuff that was wrong and then he sent out the salesman and that was where it went bad. I had an appointment and he told me he would arrive in an hour. He was late and he showed up two hours later. He ordered the wrong equipment. For the tech, I would give an "A". For the guy who came out to try to sell me a new system, I would give him a "B".

They cleaned the ducts out very well. They were prompt and the technicians were real gentleman. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them.

Technician was timely and performed the work, no problems were reported with either of our systems. One of the furnaces is old and probably on it's way out but the tech did not try to upsell us on anything.

I bought an $8500 Carrier heat pump from the Air Experts back in September 2013. Everything worked great on it up until now. They came out and did the routine checkups for the air and heat and it seems like the last time a technician came out, the unit started acting up. We lost the ability to dehumidify on the thermostat. My house is pretty energy efficient and we hardly ever have to run the A/C or heat unless it is very hot or cold. Fast forward to the past week when it got down into the teens. I had been noticing the heat was barley running during this winter and you could see the heat on flashing on and off on the thermostat constantly. I did not think much of it at first. Then my electric bill went from $80 to $143 for November. Then it jumped to $223 for December. On top of all of this, the weather got really cold. That's when we figured out the unit wasn't working properly. I called and left a message on the after hours number and I never got a call back that night. I just figured they were busy and waiting until the next morning to call back in. I asked for an appointment on the next day, Saturday, and the technician arrived right on time. The technician was brilliant. Most of this review doesn't apply to him. He went under the house and started diagnosing the problem. My wife overheard him on the phone with the main office complaining that the last technician disconnected a transformer and didn't hook it back up. This is probably where our problems started. I had to just turn off the unit and wait on a return since it was not heating the house and just wasting electricity and we just toughed out living in 53 degrees for 3 days while the part was ordered. I called in on Tuesday morning to request a status update and the lady said they would call back. I waited until 3:30 pm and had not heard from the so I called back and was told the part was in and someone would come out to replace it if needed around 6 pm that evening. I tried to explain how it seems the last service call they performed resulted in the unit being damaged and not functioning properly for a few months until it got cold enough to figure out something was wrong. The lady I spoke to on the phone tried to explain that that was the A/C service and would not damage the heating functionality. It is a heat pump and they run off the same system. The technician arrived and was polite. He was able to install the part and get the heat pump working properly. I am disappointed with the responsiveness of the main office. They left me hanging several times and did not seem to care about keeping a customer satisfied and I am left with an abnormally high electric bill due to the negligence of a technician performing routine maintenance on equipment less than 1 year old.

It was good. It was very easy to get appointment. I had no issues.

It turned out okay. I called them out because I needed some extra freon and they said it turned out it had too much freon in it. They actually removed the freon. I was charged an additional of about $100. They didn't fix anything, it was still the same. I didn't call them back after that but they diddled to the fact that the system was old and probably not sized quite right or something like that.

They were great -- came out the same day and found and fixed a dirty flame something - or -other that was preventing heat from coming on. Furnace has been working great since!

I use these guys every year. They do a really good job. They run a special every year, and my system is 22 years old, so Id rather they come out and service it and make sure it's good and tweak things. We've had to replace one or two small things where they've caught something before, but I don't have $7,000 to put in a brand new A/C unit. Id rather spend $40. to keep it maintained. They do a good job.

The service technician was punctual and explained in detail what he was doing. The Freon level was a bit low and he filled it up. Everything went smooth and there were no complaints on my part.

Great feedback, tune-ups, and suggestions... Very happy with the service.

Outside unit was making grinding noises on an extremely cold January Sunday morning. Called Air Experts that morning and they answered the phone! Sent repair technician out the next day using Diagnostic Special coupon. Technician diagnosed problem as fan motor. Did not have part in stock - heat pump dates from 1998 - so he ordered one and installed about a week later. Unit continued to function during this time, but was very quiet after installation. It's been a year since the repair, and everything is still fine. Cost of service was after 10% senior discount applied.

He had no heat downstair. They arrived on time, found the problem quickly and we had heat. They were professional and knowledgeable we will use them again.

They wanted me to buy their equipment, so I did not pay more than the big deal. I wouldn't refer them to anyone. The pricing was okay.

Job was quickly done, though a bit sloppy in some areas. we have some vents that don't open/close easily now because the duct sealing wasn't flush against the sides.

/2014Technician provided general observations from one unit and recommended replacement of both units with non-freon systems. However, the quote would need to be provided by a sales rep at a later time.

Air Experts originally scheduled the installation for Friday Jan. 2nd. They called me at 7:30 am that morning to cancel an 8 am appointment. Air Experts' excuse was that the technician had a family emergency. They rescheduled the install for Monday Jan. 5th. The Air Experts' tech showed up on time. His first statement was that they do not do installs in attics. My system is in a 2nd floor unheated room with easy access to all aspects of the system. The tech next explained that a GFI outlet is required within 3 feet of the unit being installed, that a separate drain is needed (the nearby hot water heater drain 'could not be trusted'), and piping would have to be routed through the ceiling into the heating duct. For these reasons he would not go through with my installation and told me that I needed to contact Angies' List for a refund. Based on my experience with Air Experts I don't believe there are very many homes that qualify for this Big Deal. I suppose I could get this done if I was willing to pay 2 to 3 times the quoted price of $329. To add insult to injury, getting my refund from Angies' List is turning out to be another ordeal. First I had to call Angies' List. Then I was rold that I had to fill out and submit a 'refund request' form. I did this and was informed that the refund would take 7-10 business days. Today I get an e-mail from Angies' List Concierge Teak' Amanda Isaac offering to find me a replacement Deal. The e-mail stated that I simply to let them know by 6/21/2015. I WILL DEFINITELY THINK TWICE BEFORE I GET ANOTHER ANGIES" LIST BIG DEAL. I also have to rethink the value of my Angies' List subscription. It seems to me that Angies' List is more focused on growing their revenues through these schemes than the original objective of providing consumers with an unbiased rating of local service businesses. I am enraged by the time, effort, and inconvenience that I have encountered in dealing with Air Experts and Angies' List.
