Sales did a great job. Got the right product at a good price. They needed to do some service after installation but all costs were included in first year's maintenance.

Air experts replaced my old heat pump with a new gas furnace and I couldn't be more satisfied. They were quick to prioritize my replacement knowing that I had gone without heat for 10 days, which I appreciated. The old heat pump was taken out and the crew worked all day with the city to run the new gas line and put in the new system. After 20 years of heat pump life, it's great to feel the warm air of a gas furnace!

the tune up was performed professionally and thoroughly. Kyle identified a problem which needed to be addressed. Parts were needed and he was agreeable to come back out the next day, a Saturday, to complete the repair. The repair was completed Saturday morning without any problems and I was not charged for an additional service call. Although the repair was unexpected and costly, I was assured of not being without air conditioning in the hot summer. Kyle cleaned up after himself and was very polite to me and respectful of my home.

I was very happy with what they did. We are on an annual plan so the visit was free. It was covered by the annual subscription. It was a 3 hour process. I was very impressed. He did everything, Curtis, he is the same one who came last time. I figured, once they got your money, they just move through quickly but he spent 3 hours. The outside units, he took apart and cleaned both of them. Then , in the inside there was a fair amount of cleaning to do. I had extra questions, he answered for free how to set the air vents, if you get more air in one room and less air in another room. He showed me how to go into the attic and do that myself. He was tremendously helpful so I am very pleased with what he did.

It wasn't very good because my HVAC system is still messed up. Apparently, something was really wrong with my unit but he couldn't really tell me. So the estimate left me not knowing if I needed to have a full replacement or just pay them $1400 and that could possibly be it. I don't know what the problem was. It must have been difficult to do a diagnostic to figure it out but I don't know. I felt like it was a waste because he couldn't do anything but I still had to pay. He really didn't even give me a diagnostic. They weren't rude or hostile. But, they were not able to really help me out because if they had given me sufficient information I would have used their company to fix it. But you can't tell me, "You can pay me $1400 to take a look at this but if there's more wrong than that you may have to pay more." That doesn't make sense. It sounds like I need to replace the systems. If I needed to do that then that's what you need to be saying.

Service technician arrived in the appointment window, was friendly and professional. He completed the annual AC check which included all interior and exterior components of the system. While in the house technician wore booties to prevent tracking of dirt into home. After annual check was completed he confirmed that everything was functioning properly but the AC capacitor was showing signs of wear and would need to be replaced in the near future or during this appointment. It was decided to replace the capacitor during this visit as a preventative maintenance item to avoid any potential damage to other critical components of the system. Overall a very positive experience, would definitely use again.

Marvin came out to deal with faulty thermostat on our heat pump, which they replaced. While he was there we noticed that the second unit of our dual system had stopped working. The company managed to schedule a return visit for the next day and Marvin took steps before he left to make sure that the unit would be ready to be repaired when he returned, which saved several hundred dollars.

Curtis was exceptional and provided outstanding service. He was prompt and very professional. He respected my home and property and was careful to cover his shoes before coming in my house. He was very thorough and checked my air conditioning unit and cleaned out all the pine straw and debris that was at the bottom of the unit. He made recommendations on items I might wish to consider (e.g., installing an ac power surge) without being too pushy. He later called me and followed up to make certain I retrieved the keys that I had mistakenly left with him before leaving my home for another appointment. I sincerely appreciate his attention to detail and providing such excellent customer service. I will definitely keep Air Experts in mind for any future HVAC needs. It went well. They were very professional.

Office staff called within a few days of our purchase through Angie's List. Office staff was helpful and professional. The Service Provider arrived within the designated time, and provided a thorough tune-up of our central air system.

I received estimates from a couple of companies and Air Experts had the best products for the best prices with the best warrantee. They also seemed to be a good company that put the customer first and it's important to choose an HVAC company that you can trust. After meeting with Dave on Saturday and receiving the estimate that evening, we had the installation scheduled for Tuesday. The installers arrived on time, were very professional, and did exactly what they said they would. I have been very happy with my experience.

Everything is fine. They're very easy to schedule and the people that had come had been actually wonderful.

The big deal was very nice. He was prompt, and he explained everything to us. I would use them again.

Mike was very helpful and explained that I need a new board and a new other component and the cost would be $700. He explained that my system was getting old and rather than throwing $700 into the system which he said still might not work, that I should look into a new system. He scheduled Patrick to come the next day and I was given an estimate of over $6000 but I viewed this as a necessary expense. Patrick seemed very knowledgeable. I decided to get another new system estimate and also another diagnostic estimate. Michael from Comfort First Heating and Cooling came to diagnose the problem. I paid $29 through Angie's list for the diagnostic work. Michael found the problem and fixed a disconnected wired for a charge of $42. I was so please that I signed up for their maintenance plan ($180 a year). After tipping Michael $20, the total cost from Comfort First was under $275 and my unit is working fine. Michael spent a half hour and did a thorough job of my first maintenance. Bottom line: Air Experts $739 to do the fix with no guarantee of it working and no maintenance plan. Comfort First $251 with a fix completed and a year's maintenance plan.

It was very good. There were additional services. They showed up quickly. They seemed very professional.

I bought a special Angie's List deal for a $49 HVAC tune up on my heating unit. Service was performed on time and in a professional manner. There was an issue with low amps on my blower and that was replaced by the serviceman quickly. Overall it was a good experience although I think the service could have been a little more thorough. I don't recall that he checked the air filters or checked any air vents for proper circulation.

I purchased a $39 diagnostic "big deal" from Angie's list. The company was very quick in contacting me to schedule an appointment and was able to schedule me the next day between 12-2. I got a call that morning asking if it would be okay for them to come around 11:15 or 11:30, which was fine. The technician arrived promptly and did the diagnostic. He determined that the pressure in our freon lines was low and we would need an additional 2 pounds of freon. He said to find the leak would be an addition $177, and that once the leak was found it would generally be $1500-$2500 to replace the leak, so he just recommended that we add freon without trying to find the leak (after subsequent research, I think this may have been poor advice, and inflated pricing). The original price he quoted was $398 for the diagnostic and the freon. He was apparently not informed prior to the appointment that I had purchased the diagnostic deal, so he took off $50 (the savings off the original price). Then I had to explain that I had already paid the $39 for the diagnostic by paypal, so then he took another $50 off the price, instead of the $39 (which I didn't complain about, of course). So the final price that I ended up paying for the addition of 2 pounds of freon was $259.00, which still seemed like a lot to me, but this company had very good reviews on Angie's List, so I figured that must be fair. After doing some research, I found several questions and complaints about paying $100/pound of freon added, while I paid more like $150 per pound. The technician was very friendly, I was just frustrated about seemingly being over-charged and possibly not getting the best advice on the best course of action.

Everything went fine and I would recommend them to anyone.

It worked out well- I didn't use it right away and they applied the charges to a different service call that I had put out to them though it had also expired. They have always been timely in their arrival and take time to show you what it is that they are taking about and what is wrong and give you all options to fix it.

My old system was mismatched and was inefficient. The contractor in the air handler died and as a result of the recommendations from the service call I decided to upgrade the entire system. The installers were great and am very happy with the results.

I felt like that they oversold us on the product that didn’t solve the problem. They recommend to seal the A/C vents. The extra step didn’t solve the mold problem. The work they did do went well.
