Description of Work: Diagnosed problem, replaced capacitor and fan motor and checked system. Curtis and Kim were polite, explaned parts that needed replacing and costs, clean (no dirty shoes on carpet) and very professional. Office was helpful in scheduling and associated questions. My problem was resolved efficiently which was appreciated. I have already recommended Air Experts to a friend.

Description of Work: Had them out with a $55 HVAC cleaning coupon and they found mold in my ducts. It costs a huge amount to clean and replace the HVAC system. They did have good financing options but I believe the guy oversold me on the system, which is larger than my old one but doesn't seem to work as well. |The installers caused some electrical problems (flipped some breakers) during install but fixed it once it was brought to their attention. |They've been in touch since to try to schedule a follow-up which I believe is free, so I appreciate that. |Overall they did pretty well but I'm still paying off a system that isn't working as well as the old one and I don't know if the duct system really got cleaned well.

Description of Work: The company conducted an air conditioner check up. The technician was professional and explained services well. He was very thorough in providing information on a part that needed replacement. The unit ran much better even before he left. I would use them again.

Description of Work: They provided service and maintenance for our a/c units and furnace. | |Appointment - AL mentioned that these folks would contact us the next Tuesday. Nothing happened for a week. We called to get the appt going. The vendor mentioned something about the way that AL communicates coupon purchases as the reason for the non-response - something to be improved if that's the case. The call back from Air Experts (Marjorie??) was very courteous and raised our hopes and expectations. | |Service - what worked - the service was done alright. The technician inspected the condenser, compressor, lubricated/cleaned moving parts, etc. | |What did not work - the whole time the serviceman was there, he was trying sell us a new HVAC system with an exorbitant price tag. He also threw around some technical terms to my wife which made her feel like an uneducated little poop and also justified why our system needed to be upgraded right away. He also used that pretext to not replenish the coolant as was promised with the service agreement. | |We then had it independently verified for a second opinion. That opinion provided that although the system was old, it was functioning just fine, and replacing if it broke down would cost about 1/2 of what Air Experts quoted us. | |We were hoping to find our regular HVAC people and Air Experts ended up not being them.

Description of Work: I purchased the deal for a diagnostic check of our air conditioning system. The technician came out when scheduled and completed reviewed my system. I ended up purchasing a one year service agreement and the cost of the deal was deducted from the price.

Description of Work: Air Experts installed a new AC unit for us. The unit went out in the heat of the summer. I found them on Angie's List and they came that night to inspect the issue and qoute the job. They did the installation next day and it's worked great. They've serviced the HVAC twice since and are very good.

Description of Work: a technician came out to service our AC but took the time to educate me that we should wait to perform the service until the weather was consistently warm rather than force the system/trick it to test it. I so appreciated his recommendation. He could easily have performed the service without saying anything but he took the time to educate me instead. So appreciated that!

Description of Work: They came out and determine I needed a motor for my a/c unit. The technician said he would go ahead and call it in so that it could be ordered and be delivered as early as the next day, would come and install by Monday. I have not had any updates since 5/30/14. Not happy!

Description of Work: maintenance and tune up of AC. I paid $49 through Angies List. Air experts were prompt calling me. Set up appointment, called 30 minutes before they arrived, performed maintenance, wore footies walking through house. No extra parts were needed. Very professional. I would use them again.

Description of Work: Installed new Heat & Cool system, including air handler and outside unit. Sealed and cleaned all ductwork. Cleaned dryer vent and installed new outside vent cover. Highly recommend.
