Description of Work: I purchased the online air conditioner tune up and I was having some problems with the unit not turning on properly. The serviceman came out on a Friday afternoon before a long weekend and spent about 5 minutes looking at the machine and told me it needed a new part which I allowed him to install. The part with labor to install put the price up considerably. As it turned out, the part was not the problem. Since it was a long weekend and I could not reach Air Experts, I ended up calling someone I knew through church. He came out and fixed the unit for 1/3 the cost. He did tell me the part replaced was the most common problem and the serviceman probably thought that was it and didn't look further. | |I didn't want to give Air Experts a negative review and called them on Tuesday when their office was open. Their customer service person could not have been nicer and they did refund what I had paid for the part and labor.

Description of Work: Cost mentioned above is for an annual maintenance agreement with Air Experts for 2 Carrier furnaces and 2 Carrier a/c's (one pair located in the attic and the other pair in the crawl space); agreement covers a spring check up for the a/c's and an autumn check up for the furnaces; Michelle (office person) timely scheduled our autumn service; Bobby (the tech) arrived on time, removed his shoes inside the house; ran some instrument tests on the two furnaces; adjusted the heat flow to a chilly bonus room; checked out the filters; adjusted the thermostats; and answered several questions we had--- very professionally done by both employees

Description of Work: Purchased "Big Deal" on Angies List. They were to clean and check AC and Gas Furnace. Was told coolant was low in AC unit. Paid additional $180 for 1.5 lb coolant. Two weeks later unit was not cooling. Called another provider, not telling them the unit had just been serviced. They checked refrigerant and had to put additional 2 lb coolant in, and said inner workings were filthy / had not been cleaned. Everything still working fine now. Will not use Air Experts again.
