Description of Work: They installed a new heat pump, which provides both heat and ac, and they sealed the ducts. | |The install went great, i.e., they came and finished the job when they said they would, and everything came out looking professionally installed. However, I am not so sure that the ductwork was sealed properly as I am now experiencing a foul odor that is coming up from the ductwork/vents, which was not present with the previous system. The smell reminds of the crawlspace, which has a moisture problem. However, I did not expect to have an odor that did not exist with the old unit. | |I had an issue in trying to obtain an invoice with the correct information on it, i.e., correct cost based on the agreement, total costs documented by line item unit install, and ductwork seal/repair. I had to contact them at least 3 times regarding the invoice that I received so I finally gave up. In an honest attempt to make things right/better, they did throw in an addition year of service, which I wholeheartedly appreciate. | |All in all, the install met my expectations outside of the smell, and the responsiveness/do it right the first time (invoice) fell below my expectations. I would recommend them, and I would do business with them again.

Description of Work: Fixed gas furnace power venter. Normally would need to be replaced at a cost of over $800. Service person was able to get it running again all for the $39 service fee special I bought off Angie's list. Its still working great 3 months later! Even if it only works for the rest of the season it was worth the price! Honest guys didn't do any unneeded work. They could have easily just told me that I had to replace the 20 year old power venter and I would have probably done it. It's 20 years old and it's seen better days... He did give me a quote to replace and will call them when it does go out again. They were prompt as I had no heat and they came out the next morning first thing. I did not need them to come any sooner as it wasn't too cold out yet luckily. I would definitely recommend Air Experts!

Description of Work: They were very nice when I spoke with them over the phone and the technician that came out was very professional. The problem was the estimate they provided me. They wanted to charge over $600 for something that would cost an average price of $100, more or less. Do your research before hiring this company.

Description of Work: Had a check-up done on my Furnace and also asked several questions in regards to my dampers and air control in my house. Took his time to walk through any and all questions, and performed the tune-up just fine. Would def use again.

Description of Work: I called them because we had no heat, The technician said there was nothing they could do, There was no oil in the tank. They did not turn the oil valve back on to in turn make the air work properly. And they charged us $90 for them to come back out to fix they're mistake.

Description of Work: We offered two alternative days to provide service as requested. We received neither service nor a contact explaining why service was not provided. They obviously have more business than they can handle. Please refund the $78 we paid for no service.
