We recently purchased an older home with a moldy, walk-in crawl space. After we corrected an existing drainage problem, 1-800 Water Damage of Raleigh remediated the mold on the joists and subfloor, removed the existing insulation, reinsulated the entire crawl space, and installed a moisture barrier over the soil. We were very pleased with the work. Our crawl space is now clean, dry, and looks terrific! The owner, Red Howard, was honest, punctual, and very personable. We will definitely use them again for any water remediation issues that arise.

"Hello [member name removed], I am so sorry that your experience with us turned south during the reconstruction process. I understand where you are coming from with the lack of communication and I agree with you 100%. Communication is extremely important in the remediation business, probably the most important aspect in fact, because we are in peoples homes. During your project, once all of the drying was complete and the property was safe from further damage, the insulation should have been re-installed immediately throughout the crawlspace. However, at the time I was still a small company, and was very limited with personnel. In fact, at the time it was only myself and one other part-time technician. (Since your project I now have 3 technicians and greatly expanded capabilities.) We had just come upon a very busy period and after the drying process was finished, neither myself or my technician were available for 10 days to supervise the insulation installation. I should have just informed you of my situation which I'm certain you would have understood, but instead I didn't and I apologize. I hope that you are satisfied with the dry crawlspace and new insulation, despite my lack of communication. I assure you that I will learn from this situation and do my best to never let it happen again.
