The Grout Medic - Raleigh Durham & Chapel Hill

used grout medic for a large job in November and was thrilled with how they made my master bath look new. The guys were neat and pleasant to work with. This is why I decided to have them back for a few smaller jobs. Lee Williams did a great job once again making areas that were showing wear and tear look new. There are so many services Grout Medic offers that I hope to eventually have all my bath rooms recauked and sealed.

They did an excellent job. worked approximately 7 hours. I want to give special mention of both technicians who did the work- Lee Williams and Jason (unfortunately didn't get his last name). I am very happy with the results and the work they did, as their motto claims, did bring my tile and grout "back to life"!

Will did a great job. He was courteous and arrived on the job on time. He explained everything he had done when we walked through after the job was completed. I would definitely use them again.

They did a very good job, but they are very highly priced. Overall good quality job. Everything looks good even now.

Prior to that we had all the re-grouting, we had a company come in to do that. They did a nice job. I think they called themselves The Grout Medic. When he quoted this job, he laid out several different options which was good. He broke out everything price wise, individually, price wise. The total cost ended up to be actually about 1400 dollars. They also recommended another glass company. Our experience was good. They had to come out and check. They wanted to match the grouting with the tiles that we had both in the shower stall but also the tiles of the bathroom floor. Then when they decided and everybody agreed, they spent time just going through and trying to match them with us and we came to an agreement on different grouts. They came back again to schedule the job and came back again. The young man that did it spent the entire day or so, whatever, just kept on working, working, working till everything was done. He did a nice job and did a good clean up. They are very good. I don't think we had any delays or we didn't have anybody calling and say oh, I can't make it today, we will do it some other day. They were very prompt. From what I could gather, I thought that they had a very reasonable price for the work that they had to do I would say good.

Lee was punctual and professional. He did a thorough job and went over everything with me at the end. He told me that Grout Medic guarantees their work for a year, so that if there is any flaking or peeling, they will come out and fix it. Best of all he cleaned up well. Thank you Lee!

The tile looks beautiful. Service was prompt, pleasant, and professional.

Jason and Shay were very professional and reliable and did an excellent job. The grout looks much better than when the house was new and all the cracks are fixed.

This was quite a job because he had to remove the old tile for the stone. The job was perfect. Jim Reina was punctual, polite, made no mess, and did the work quickly (two days).

We called Bruce Lane for an estimate on 2/10/2015 and received the estimate on 2/15/2015. The scheduled delay was on my part. It was a reasonable price. This is the second time we have used The Grout Medic and been pleased at both locations. Bruce pointed out to us that the grout in the shower floor was not good for a new house that has been lived in for 6 months. We contacted the builder to re-grout the shower floor, since the warranty was still active. The builder had the shower re-grouted on 2/27/2015. After letting the grout cure for 4 days, we scheduled for The Grout Medic to come on site 3/5/2015 to do the work for which the estimate was given. It took approximately 3 hours to complete the work. It was done in a professional manner with care for our property and the skills needed to do a good job.

Called Blane at Grout Medic to get a estimate on re-caulking our master batch and master shower. Pricing was a little steeper then we had anticipated but decided to go through with the job. Blane indicated he would send over two of his team members to take a day to do the job. Greg & Cris were punctual (called 1/2 hr. before coming over to advise they were on their way!) and set right to work. They were both professional in the presence and their work. Working together they finished the job by the end of the day and my wife and I were thoroughly impressed and excited on how our bathroom was transformed into a new and better bath Thanks to Cris and Greg. i would high recommend "The Grout Medic," to anyone wanting to bring life back into their bathroom!

I am very satisfied. The workmen (Greg, Chris, Shay) were professional, prompt, pleasant and efficient. I would use again and also would recommend them to others.

.The Grout Medic was very responsive. Jim, the man who did the work, arrived on time and worked quickly. We had a shower stall that was tiled floor to ceiling, and the ceiling, made in 1969. Grout was missing or black. I had hired someone years ago to re-grout but that person had done a bad job. I had tried to paint the grout white, which didn't work. The estimated cost to replace the shower was $10,000.00. The Grout Medic came out and gave me a free estimate. Then they worked two days at the house. Jim removed all old grout, regrouted and sealed the grout. He removed all broken tiles and replaced them. They gaveme an 8 year warranty: Clear sealers have a 6 month warranty against failure. A recaulk with 100% Silicone Caulk has a 1 year warranty against failure and discoloration if it is combined with a full regrout or a full color seal it becomes 2 year against caulk failure and discoloration. Full ReGrouts have a 8 year warranty against grout failure and discoloration Jim gave us detailed instructions on how to keep the grout looking good--wash with nothing stronger than dish soap; wipe shower dry after ever use.

Excellent. The Grout Medic gave an itemized quote so that we knew what we were paying for and which charges were for cosmetic work rather than repair work. The appointment was scheduled quickly and the team of two repairmen were fast and professional. Shower has been fine since the repair.

I budgeted $800 for this service. But when the estimate came in it clearly defined what needed to be done....things that I hadn't thought of. I was very comfortable with the $1100 spent on this service. The workers were professional and cleaned up the work area. It really couldn't have gone better.

Shay, our provider, arrived promptly on the morning we scheduled service. He gave me detailed information about what he would be doing and how he would clear out the old grout and mold. Gave an accurate assessment of how long each portion of the repair would take and returned promptly the second day to finish the job. He took the time to suggest proper maintenance and patiently answered all my questions. Even helped me add sealant to our double sinks, which were not leaking but looked suspicious to me. As annoyed as I was that I had to repair a space we had just remodeled, I would have to say it was a great experience with the Grout Medic. Highly recommend for grout repair jobs-- Shay was outstanding to work with and I will certainly request him again in the future!

The staff were very responsive and punctual. Scheduling was easy, and the work was done in 1 day. They left the shower looking great, and cleaned up well. I would definitely use them again.

Greg, the technician, steam cleaned all tile and grout surfaces and applied a colored sealer to the grout. He also removed two cracked tiles, cleaned off all the old adhesieve from the floor. and installed two new tiles (which we were fortunate enough to have). The grout in each area of our home was very dirty and dark,with variatioins in the darkness. After the work was done, our tiled areas are clean and bright, with all the grout a pleasing Ivory collor. Our ten year old tiled floors look like new. We could not be more pleased with their appearance. In all regards we were very wiell pleased with Greg, who did all the work. He was very courteous and careful not to soil or damage anything in our home. We would certainly recommend The Grout Medic.

The Grout Medic brought life back to our tired old 1968 bathroom tile. Technicians Chris Wells and Jimmie Reina work professionally throughout the day, and kept me update on their progress. The end product looks great. All the grout and caulking are back to its bright white state, and the tiles themselves have been freshened up. I'll now consider having our other bathroom done by The Grout Medic.

The owner of Grout Medic came himself to look at the work that needs to be done and gave us an estimate. He was very professional and knowledge and helped us pick the right grout type for our master bathroom shower floor. We ended up using the wrong cleaning product that messed up the color sealant on the walls. However, the Grout medic team came back and redid the color sealant at no cost and also provided us the care sheet for future use. Overall I was very satisfied with the quality of work that the Grout Medic team did even though there was some confusion regarding the color pick for the wall sealant. We ended up selecting this company from Angies list after the handyman form "RDU Handyman" messed up our bathroom floor. I would highly recommend Grout Medic for any grout/tile related work. The job was very involved and went extremely well. It took exactly 5 days from start to finish. The main technician on the job was Rodney Ligon. He was very professional, knowledgeable, neat, and took all the necessary time required to explain in detail the many questions I had. I never thought it would turn out better than the original, but it did. I've received many compliments from other that have seen the job and were highly impressed. Others involved in the job, Greg and Melanie, were also very helpful in recommending tile shops to me and also answering numerous questions and returning my calls. I interviewed several companies before choosing The Grout Medic, and without any hesitation I know I made the right choice. Rodney's work should be the gold standard for the proper way to replace and rebuild a failing shower pan, tile removal and installation, and handling an existing glass enclosure with such care and precision that it can be placed back as if it was never removed. No other contractor was able to make that commitment to me. I am VERY SATISFIED with the entire job, and I feel confidant they will stand behind their warranty if anything needs a second look.

Bruce Lane, the manager/owner, returned my phone message in a very timely manner and we made a meeting time to fit my schedule and his. Bruce showed on time and throughly inspected my issue and from there proceeded to explain to me in terms I could understand, all the issues going on. ( which were many because we had this "repair" done a year ago by someone else and it was a total botched up job.) Approximately 1 to 2 days later he emailed a very detailed work/repair plan with all the pricing included. I "lifted an eyebrow" when I saw the quoted price, but I felt very secure with his recommendation of the work that needed to be done. Bruce quoted the time involved would be 5 to 6 days. Once agreement had been made for Grout medic to do the job, Rodney Ligon ,the technician showed on time on a Monday morning and finished the job on the following Sat. afternoon. Rodney was very polite, professional, yet personal and friendly. I felt quite comfortable leaving him in my home when I was not present. He did an excellent job replacing the shower floor, new ceramic tiles as needed and managed to save a few exisiting tiles to match the bathroom floor tiles. From time to time throughout the project he would show me what he was doing and explain the details to me. My husband and i could not have asked for a better outcome. We will definitely recommend Grout Medic /Bruce Lane and Rodney Ligon to anyone who needs ceramic repairs done in their home. Oh, and by-the-way, you get what you pay for !!

They are very easy to work with and schedule. Bruce came out to give the estimate and was able to schedule for about a week later. Chris Wells did the work and did a great job. He called ahead and arrived on time. The floors really do look like the before and after photos on their website. It is so nice to see the dirty brown grout now very white and clean. He also did a good job removing all the old cracked grout and caulk and replaced with new silicon caulk. I am very detail oriented and noticed a couple of touch up spots. Melony called me right back to schedule Chris for a follow-up visit. He was very friendly again and listened to my concerns and took care of them quickly. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
