The process went fast and the crew cleaned up all the debris and everything from the work they completed. Finished in about 3 hours and now I don't have to worry about clogged gutters and water damage on my colonial. Very happy!

Although I did not have this product installed my experience with this company was horrible. We saw the product at the metrolina home show and were interested in checking it out further. We made an appointment with the company to send a representative to our home in Concord on 2/16. He was on time and seemed knowledgeable. He told me that the real cost of our job would be 6950.00 but we could get the job done for 3990.00. As this was the first company that was coming to give us estimates for our needed work I told him that I would let him know by 2/19. The evening of 2/18 he called and spoke with my wife and informed her that they could do the job for 250.00 dollars less. The next morning the represenitive called me. I informed him that the price was not even close to a quote that I had received for a similar product and would not be using Leaffilter. He then offered the service for invoice pricing of 2450.00. I still declined the service as I thought the other product was superior although I did not tell him why. The representative then said " Thanks for wasting my time " and hung up the phone. Minutes later he sent me a text on the cell number I had provided stating " Thanks for blowing smoke my way ". This interaction raised too many concerns about allowing people in my home. As I said I cannot attest to the way the product works but the sales interaction left a bad taste. If you use any company Google the product followed by complaints. Altough you can't make everyone happy you can see if a pattern emerges.

It took the guy 35 minutes to do the job. I have no way other than going on the roof of verifying the quality. They had already rescheduled twice. One guy, 35 minutes, $363! What kills me is that they sent a sales guy out to estimate the job. He tried to sell us a filter system, taking over on hour of out time, and then produced outrageous estimates to do the installs. I said there was no way I was paying that kind of money and that all I wanted was the gutters cleaned. And even that estimate was ridiculous so I said no but the sales guy insisted on bargaining down until I finally agreed to the number. The moral is if you need a service estimate and they send out a sales guy you're in for a rip off.

The workman were very thorough. They explained what they were doing and why they were doing it. They cleaned up when the job was complete. The provided a manufacturers warranty. They did a very good job.

The presentation was very professional with glossy presentation materials. The Price was more than twice that of other bids, but was lowered when I balked. Checked on references and complaints: too high a price; problems with installation quality; former reps who commented on aggressive business tactics that were encouraged. I received a call back from the company rep with a further reduction in price, although it was still 1/3 higher than other bids. When I asked for at least two local (in the same county) references in regard to installation quality and product reliability I never received a call back and subsequently went with another local company.

Leaffilter was called out because their product was causing my facia to rot as water was ponding and overflowing at a miter joint. It took over a week with several contacts just to get service scheduled. As stated above, they did make a repair to their system but left the rotted facia to me. Further attempts to get them to repair the damage only resulted in further delays and ultimately an offer to repair the damage for $225. That is not acceptable as the damage is due to their product/installation, which has a lifetime warranty that isn't worth paper it's printed on.

Overall, we were happy with our experience. The sales people were friendly, and on time. The installers were punctual, efficient and in addition to cleaning out the existing gutters, removed a lot of debris and clutter from on top of our roof while they were there. They rehang the old gutters after discovering the previous owner hadn't installed them correctly and so far, the filters and gutters appear to be working and working much better than they previously were. They installed extensions to the downspouts to properly keep water away from the house, and even staked them down in the yard to keep them from moving about, in addition to securing them to the downspouts. So far the gutters they installed appear to be of good quality, the filters appear to be working well and everything is sealed well. Our only complaint would be that, as other reviewers have noted, while they don't do a massively high pressure sales pitch, they do quote a ridiculously high initial price and then keep knocking it down the more you say "no". It started with an initial price, and when we said that would take us some time to decide and come up with the money, they presented a coupon that was good "any time" when we were ready. However, if we bought that day, they could knock more off the cost, plus we could use the coupon. In addition, if we agreed to let them set the installation schedule (which we were happy to as we weren't in a particular hurry anyway) they would knock even more off. When we still were planning on declining to purchase that evening, the sales guy made a call to his "supervisor" and wouldn't you know it, they had just scored a big commercial contract just up the road from us, with gutters in the color we were looking for (but different colored filter) and they were offering us to buy at the commercial price since they would be doing a bulk materials purchase. In the end, we wound up getting a price that was more than 50% less than their original quoted price, installed 2 days later. You guys have a quality product that seems to work well, and can obviously install for a good price. You really shouldn't need to play pricing games to convince your customers they're getting a deal. Why waste your and your customer's time fake haggling to get to a price that was going to be easily agreed to in the first place?

We have never had any problems in our dining room area. ?The home was built in April, 2006. ?The roof is under 10 years old. ?Within 3 months of the work being done, there was a water stain coming down the dining room wall. ?They came out several times to make adjustments and attempted to fix the problem. ?It appeared the problem was solved. ?I had to pay $550 out of my wallet to get my kitchen and dining room repainted. ?Within the last week, we had a lot of rain and the water started running down the dining room wall again. ?A friend of mine, who is a licensed contractor, came out to look at the inside of the roof and it is soaking wet. ?The wood is rotted out at the same intersection. ?The filters are clearing not working because the water is overflowing the gutters and pouring down the back of my house. ?We already had to replace the framing on our french doors because they were rotted from all of the water. ?We are a 65 year old couple on disability. ?We are on a fixed income and they knew that. ?They are not honoring the warranty that says the gutters will not clog. ?If they aren't clogged then why is the water overflowing the gutters onto the deck?

They had sub contractor come out. They damaged all aluminum fascia and siding around bay window. I called the office as they had left to return a worker to the office. The sub contractor supervisor came out and a couple hours later the Regional Mgr for Leaf Filter arrived. Both of them agreed the would replace damaged fascia and fix the damage to bay window. The worker arrived the next day 3.5 hrs after they had said they would be there. The supervisor and worker worked for several hrs, the supervisor left and the worker continued till 6:15pm when he stated he was done and ready for me to sign off. Bay window was not repaired as they had said they would, worker had redirected two down spouts which will cause flooding, left numerous old brackets still on walls. I explained I was not paying until the job was completed, he drove to the end of my driveway yelling. My wife and I picked up over 30 nails, aluminum pieces and brackets from our yard for two hrs. I have contacted the Regional Mgr who is coming on Tuesday afternoon. At this point I am looking for a new contractor to fix my fascia and bay window and have got up on a ladder and tsken pictures of numerous flaws and pieces if the leaf filter missing that were never installed.

They are very good and it did not cost me anything.

The salesman spent a lot of time with us.He was very personable. Gave us a price we thought was too high and then proceeded to bring it down quite a bit by giving us all kinds of discounts,some seemed a little far fetched but it did bring the price down to our price range and we signed a contract. we then checked on Angie's List as he said they were rated Number 1 and found out a whole different story. We canceled the contract immediately. Glad we had an Angie's List to check

To be honest actually the sales guy was great. I won't say the same for the initial gutter installation, but I didn't rate those guys current because I needed time to think about it. They ended up and ultimately they got it right, but it took three trips. The only stand out is the initial sales consultant. I think the customer service was okay. Actually they gotten behind after the initial installation and they didn't finish things and coming back the next day and I had to have them out on couple of additional times to fix. The third group that came that finally fixed everything was fantastic. They just have a bunch of different crews and I think you get what you get but they said that they would take care of it and it sounds like that. Other people had to come and finish their work that hurts the initial crew that came out and it sounds like that they are trying to do something about it, but the actual product itself is a good product. They have a lifetime warranty and hopefully I never have to take anymore gutters.

This all started at an Augusta home show. There were lots of people showing off various home improvement technologies. We gave Leaf filter our number knowing nothing about them except that the house we just bought needed some work on it's gutters. A few days later they called to see if they could stop by and show us their product. My husband agreed to this. This was the first mistake. The man that came to visit claimed to be a "regional manager" of some type. He showed us a "power point slide show" in a binder (he printed all his slides) that included claims such as Leaf Filter being the #1 gutter company on Angie's list. The gutter system is basically traditional gutters with an ultra fine mesh cover permanently installed over the top. We were told that with these in place our gutters were " guaranteed to never clog". Gutters here in Aiken SC have to be cleaned multiple times per year (lots of pine), so we were interested. The initial price we were quoted was over $50/linear foot! We were able to negotiate that rate down by almost half ( This was our first hint that this was not kosher). But we signed the contract after seeing that we had the right to change our mind within 3 days. We then went looking for the reviews here on Angie's list, one of the things that really stuck out to us was that none of the reviews were by people who had lived with the gutter system for any length of time. People said the salesmen and installers were punctual and polite; no one said the product was performing well after being on their house for 1/5/10 years. I considered this a bad sign. The next morning I realized that the packet of information I had been left did not contain a "legalese" version of the no-clog guarantee. So I called the company. They gave me the run around, but I insisted, and they finally said that the manager who we met with would call me. When he called, a day later, I insisted on the legalese, he sent me a "plain English" version as a picture taken with his iPhone. I am attaching the picture to this review. I feel it is absolutely imperative that you have read this before you decide to do business with these people. Here's the jist: 1) Leaf filters will not be installed by employees of LeafFilter Inc.; LeafFilter Inc will not guarantee against problems caused by improper installation. 2) They guarantee that the inner space of your gutter will never clog. They DO NOT guarantee that the mesh top will never clog (thus preventing the gutter from functioning). 3) They state that if the inner space of your gutter clogs and this damages your house they will reimburse you up to the deductible on your homeowners insurance for the repairs. ****Check your homeowners policy!!!!! Most policies specifically exclude water damage due to malfunctioning gutters!!!!**** This was not consistent with what we were told by the manager when he visited us. Based on this dishonesty (and the shady used car salesman sales tactics and the lack of positive performance reviews) we decided Leaf Filter was not a company our family would be doing business with. We called them to cancel the contract, we also faxed them a letter. On the day the work had been scheduled to happen the installers called to let us know that they were running late. I told them we had canceled the contract. They sounded annoyed but did not press the issue. We feel we really dodged a very expensive bullet.

They were professional and on time. They did the work the next day and cleaned up afterwards. The product seems to be working as promised. We have a lifetime warranty which is the reason we went with this company.

1. Scheduled an estimate on 11/06/2014 at 5:00 PM. Tim was on time and gave a concise presentation. 2. Installation was to be scheduled when I was ready. I was having my roof replaced and wanted that to be completed first.. 3. Scheduled installation on 11/10/14. Cold day with light snow. Installers did not show and didn't call???? 4. Scheduled installation on 11/25/14. Installers showed up on time and completed the job is the time they estimated. 5. Installation was well done. Site was left clean. 6. All-in-all a very good experience.

They got the job done in 1-2 days and the quality seems to be good. The leaves certainly do not get in the gutters now.

Area representative came to my house because I called them. After going through the sales pitch he gave me the theatrics of a whimsical presentation of a price that was 3times the other quote I got. After telling him this he dropped it by an enormousamount.. After saying no following a high pressure sales pitch he left and called me later to tell me he would match my other quote. I told him I needed time and he said "not gonna happen". Very aggressive sales pitch aimed at forcing you into buying without being able to do research. Loved their product and the engineering but he freaked me out. Very rude after he was told no.

They did a great job! I think the price was reasonable and I was satisfied with the quality of their work. The gutters have held up fine since they came out to do the work, and I like that they have a transferable warranty. They were right on time, communicated well, finished in about 3 hours, and the clean up was perfect.

They are a rip-off and I would never use them and I would never recommend them. The salesman was unprofessional and he let me know that I wasted his time and he let me know how unprofessional he was. They initially quoted me $6000 for the job and then he called his boss and the price went down to $1500. They are a scam and I talked to someone else that said the exact same thing.

The salesman was a really nice guy and very knowledgeable. He was at the home for about an hour and he explained everything thoroughly. He also beat the other competitor's price by $500. We had some things come up so we were unable to follow through with the estimate at this time.
