It was done in a professional manner. This was a job done on Saturday, as we discovered we had no water on Friday evening. Call was answered immediately, and they were on the job about two hours later. Jerry and his son worked so well together to get the job finished in a timely manner.

A family member recommended Jerry to us when our well pump went out, leaving us without water on what had to be the coldest, most miserable day in January last year. He answered the first time we called and was able to come evaluate the problem that day. We were pleased with his estimate (approximately $1200 to replace the pump in our 300-foot well), so we asked him to go ahead with the work. He completed everything that day (luckily he had the pump we needed with him). We have a lot of sediment in our water, which is what had caused the pump to go out in the first place, so he added a cover to the pump that should limit the amount of sediment that it takes in. So far, it's been working great. He also checked out our pressure tank while he was here. He thought it would last a little while longer so he recommended that we leave it alone until it actually had problems. The pressure tank did start giving us problems a couple of months ago. Again, he answered on the first call. After verifying that this wasn't an emergency, he initially said he could come take a look in a couple of days, which was fine. He had a cancellation the next day, so after calling to check in with us, he came on out. He was able to fix it while he was here and we haven't had any further problems. Both times he left his work area remarkably clean. I haven't interacted with him but my husband says that he's friendly and professional. We'd recommend him to anyone.

Our water flow had fallen to a trickle for weeks. I called this past Saturday to get some info and Jerry said he was working close by and would stop over in an hour. We had been trying for weeks to figure out the problem with the water pressure from the well and had tried everything. We thought it was a burned out pump. Jerry and his son Brenden amazingly had everything on board their truck...even a new 1 hsp pump. They pulled the 250 ft deep pump out with this crane like machine from the truck and lo and behold there was a break in the pipe 200 feet down which was leaking water and sucking in red iron. We decided it was a good time to replace the metal piping as Jerry even had heavy duty PVC on the truck. The whole job took a few hours. They were very thorough and really tried to think the whole thing through before proceeding. I was really impressed..and on a Saturday, no less!

Well pump died during a holiday. Very pleased that provider was available and able to replace it the same day. Professional, fast, and knowledgeable!

I contacted the provider at around 9:30 in the morning, talking with the owner, Jerry Fowler. He informed me that one stop had to be made before coming to our location and it would be about 2 hours. He arrived with his son at around 11 AM and confirmed that the well pump was not working by checking the voltage at the pressure switch near the air tank and then out at the well head. The concrete well cap had to be broken down as it did not allow easy access to the well head. Once the cap was out of the way, the team loosened the pipe collar at the well cover seal and attached their joist equipment, which had been skillfully maneuvered next to our garage. Jerry and his son methodically raised the old pump with pipe and wiring and carefully removed each section. Once the old items were totally removed, a spool of wire was attached to the new pump, with the wiring being mindfully sealed with heat shrink and then electrical tape. The process was then reversed by attaching new PVC pipe to the pump in 9-20' sections with wiring guides and a check valve placed in the assembly to prevent a grit problem. The faucet head and well head collar were put back in place, and new PVC sections run to re-connect the water line. Power was turned back on to the pump and Jerry adjusted the lower limit on the pressure switch to provide a little better pressure, after letting the water run for a couple of minutes. After finishing the replacement the old PVC pipe was removed and the bill was tallied. They had completed their work in less than 2-1/2 hours, at a little after 2 PM, even working in the rain at points during the installation. I am extremely pleased that we got our water restored so quickly and that the workmanship will ensure long years of service by our new pump, which comes with a 5-year warranty.

They traced the problem to a part in the well which holds the pump and pipes in the well housing n place. It had dislodged and the pump was bashing around causing the on/off water due to the check valve being destroyed in the process. At least that's how I interpreted what they said. Removed extra check valve near holding tank, checked out all parts of system, replaced the bad part and the pump which had been bashed, installed check valves where they should be and insulated the well housing. Our well is 60 feet deep and the well had to be pulled by hand... and it was a hot / humid day. Not a pleasant job. Overall they spent about 3 hours on site and charged 1350 for the pump and all parts and labor. This seemed very reasonable when compared to other well work we've had done on our weekend cabin.

I was having problems with low water pressure and lots of air in my water line and called Jerry at Ace Well & Pump based on their Angie's List reviews. I was expecting that the pressure tank was defective or that there was a hole in the well casing. He arrived when he said he would, assessed the situation, and determined that all that was needed was an adjustment to the pressure switch, tightening a fitting, and a filter change. My water pressure is now where it should be and the air in the water line is gone. He charged me $150. So many others would have turned that into a full replacement project for thousands of dollars. I am very pleased, and will definitely call them again when needed.

Our pump has been short circuiting every day for two weeks now. Our landlady sent out an electrician who didn't do anything except switch the wires around on the fuse box- it didn't solve the problem. So we found Jerry here, and he did a great job! Fixed it in less than an hour. He and his partner were very polite, and super professional. Both were soft spoken, big guys who looked me right in the eye and shook our hands. When the job was done, he told us that for some reason, our well wasn't insulated where it needed to me and showed me how to do it, and did not charge for the advice. I will definitely use him again if needed. I almost wish he did more than pumps and wells, we've got a lot of issues here that could use his level of expertise!

Turned on the faucet and watched the water pressure disappear. Oh no, I panicked. I called the company that installed our well, and the owner said no one was on duty today. I panicked again, then I looked on Angie's List and found Ace Well and Pump Service. I called Jerry. He came and inspected the situation. He calmed me down and replaced the pressure switch, and we had water. He also gave us helpful tips on what to look for and how to care for our system. I appreciate Jerry coming on a Saturday and helping restore a precious commodity (water) to my home. Thank you so much.

I called Jerry on 1/30 in the morning and he was on his way to another job. He told me he would be by my house mid afternoon, he arrived at 4:00 pm. It took him no time, to find that my well needed to be replaced. He gave me a cost estimate and said he would be back in the morning since it was getting late and the job would take 4 - 5 hrs. He arrived at 9:30 am and completed the job by 12:30. The job cost less then the estimate and completed in less time He was extremely professional. He followed up by calling me that evening and the following morning. I would highly reccomend Jerry.

I called Jerry and he was literally at my house in less than 10 minutes! Fixed my well pump and showed me how to fix the water pressure switch if it happened again. Also added a bit of extra installation for my well pump, I will definitely call him if we have any problems in the future!

Mr. Fowler came out promptly and did an excellent job. He was very thorough and definitely knew his stuff. He suggested that we almost certainly had a leak in the water line from the well to the house, most likely near the connection into the house, causing the well pump to run too frequently and thus burn out. Since it was a small leak and we were extremely busy at that time, we decided to put off trying to locate it for a short time. We would absolutely use this company again...and did a few days later when we located the leak, by the house as he thought..

The first time they came I told them I was pretty sure it was the pressure switch and they told me it was just the filter and the routing of the plumbing. So they rerouted the plumbing only gave me the option of putting in their new filter. So they came back two weeks later and put in the filter charging another full fee. Then a month later we had the same problem and came back and charged $200.00 to replace the switch. So $500.00 later it was actually what I said it was the first time.

I contacted them in morning and they said they would have someone call me in afternoon when they completed another job in the area. They assessed the situation immediately and gave me their professional recommendation. I told them to please install new pressure tank and switch.

We live in South Florida. Seven months ago we purchased a furture retirement residence in Asheville. It was rented at the time and the tenants are still in place. Recently, on a Sunday morning at 9 AM, the tenant called to tell me that the water pump had quit working earlier that morning. Not knowing anyone in the Asheville area, I turned to Angie's List. I selected Jerry's name because I was looking for an individual rather than a large company. I called Jerry at 11 AM on a Sunday. He told me that it would be a couple of hours before he could respond. He arrived on site at 1 PM and promptly repaired the problem. He also explained his work to my tenants and and provided advice. Later that evening Jerry called me, explained what he had done, and answered all my questions. His fee was quite reasonable considering that he responded on short notice, on a weekend. Jerry is an honest man. He could have easily replaced the water pump, rather than simply replacing the inexpensive part that had malfunctioned. Jerry will now service our well and pump for as long as we own the property.

Our well pump (225 ft.) went out on a weekend. Jerry Was here early Monday morning. He had the pump pulled and replaced in four hours, for 250.00 less than he quoted me. Jerry is a great guy to work with, he doesn't mind explaining things and he does a good job. Will call again for any water issues.

The pressure switch on our well pump stopped working. We called Jerry, the owner, on a Sunday night and he promptly returned our phone call. Jerry was very responsive and came Monday morning to install the new pressure switch. I told Jerry that I thought the problem was the pressure switch but secretly I was worried that I would get talked into installing a new well system. But Jerry was honest and agreed that the problem was indeed the switch. Jerry installed the new switch and our problem was solved. I was very pleased with Jerry's responsiveness, honesty and work.
