SAVING 30% energy costs, Natural Gas MORE efficient than electric, also a cleaner and environmentally friendlier source of energy since Duke Power still burns enormous amounts of coal ( a BIG NASTY air polluter ) Their price of $427 seemed reasonable since 'The Gas Company' wanted nearly twice that amount."

Description of Work: We signed up for a maintenance agreement for 1 yr for service on our air conditioning and heating unit. We are satisfied with their service and renew our agreement each year.

Description of Work: The technician did come on time and was nice to work with. It took only a few minutes to determine that the problem was the thermostat which failed to send signals to the blower. The unit was purchased from and installed by Weather Master 4 years ago in July of 2011. They have all the product information but the technician came without the proper programmable thermostat to replace. I ended up having a non-programmable thermostat as a result. The invoice is $99 service call fee plus $213 for actual labor (about 20 minutes to diagnose and install the thermostat), more than what I paid to a neurosurgeon for an office visit.

Description of Work: I have a high efficiency heat pump & gas furnace. Blower motor went out and had to spend 2 nights w/o AC! Since I have a 10 year warranty on system (Weather Master Select customer) they came at 10pm at night, ordered part asap, installed and covered under warranty. Expensive system, but helping with power bills and great service!

Description of Work: We have used them for years & years. I feel confident that I am getting good quality care for my needs. My only suggestion is that they used to call you when it was time to set up service and haven't been doing that. I miss it.

Description of Work: We had the furnace checked to satisfy the service warranty we purchased. I will only use them in the future because of the extended warranty we bought from them. The technician was not honest and became agitated when I confronted him and stormed off. My husband witnessed the behavior as well. I called the company and complained about the visit. |

Description of Work: Annual water heater flush, which was supposed to be $59. other plumbing services also inspect toilets and sinks for this price, among other small services. Not Weathermaster though, they do the minimal flush and then charge 169$ to change the filter implying that it's too difficult for the average homeowner. Needless to say, I later learned after paying for it I could have purchased the filter for less than 30$ and done it on my own. They also removed a power cord that they installed less than a year ago and that I paid for as part of the installation of the new heater and sensor - stretching a too short cord across the entry (blocking entry). Called to ask why this happened and have them return it to the original state, but they were not amenable. Asked to speak to a supervisor who was unavailable, told they'd call back on 2/3, still no call. Called again today (2/10) and supervisor still unavailable. Left a message. Will not ever use services again (plumbing or hvac) and will not recommend.

Description of Work: They did my original heating and cooling installation. Have had problems with the unit since it was installed. They make promises and can't keep them. I feel like I am dealing with con men. They are constantly trying to up sell when not required.

The maintenance man was very polite and not at all pushy. I have been using them for 21 years and have never been dissatisfied.

Description of Work: they installed a new furnace and air-conditioning unit. I had to call them to come back because it was not blowing cool, which they did and it was fixed. However, it |stopped working again over a long weekend, only about a month later, so I called again and they said that they couldn't come out for three days because of the "holiday" weekend. I was disappointed after spending $5000.00.
