Weather Master Heating & Air Conditioning

Description of Work: I have an annual maintence contract with Weather Master where they come out in the fall and check out the heating units and then in the spring and check out the cooling units. Without fail, there's always some big upsale where the tech tries to talk me into a UV filtration system or a whole house filter or something along those lines. I appreciate having the information that those products or services are available, but I don't appreciate feeling like the service call is about selling me something other than standard maintenance. I'm in the process of selling my home and I just found out I won't be reimbursed for unused services even though I've only used one of my service calls. I will definitely be seeking out the services of a more customer oriented company in my new home.

Description of Work: We have been using Weather Master since 1980 and are very pleased with their work. Also, we signed up for their preventative maintenance program which we found to be very worthwhile.

Description of Work: Our semi-annual check on our dual fuel systems, two heat pumps and two furnaces. They had replaced one of the systems about a year and a half ago. The technician was very thorough in his check, took care in what he was doing, and left the areas clean. He told me what he was doing and the results of his checkup of the systems. I always ask for a senior tech and someone familiar with this type of a dual fuel system. This was a cooling systems check.

Description of Work: They were GREAT!!! I had to purchase 2 new units within 4 months of each other! One for upstairs and one for downstairs. My house is 11 years old and the old units just didn't last or perform as well as these new ones.

Description of Work: Here is a copy of an email sent a few days ago, to the customer service manager of this company. At the time of this review, this email has still not been responded to, nor have we received any phone calls. See below: Am sitting here at my computer feeling frustrating as to why your company has not returned any of my calls to shedule a coil leak check. Have called 2-3 times for this, at the recommendation of one of your servicemen. He said this when he was here several weeks ago, after we paid you $700.00 for more Freeon, as well as about $200.00 for a service agreement, which was purchased on a previous service call. We are thinking about asking for a refund on the service agreement, since we can't seem to get any service from your company, when we call to schedule an appointment for a coil leak check. Aware this is your busy season, but phone calls should at least be returned. Just read several Internet reviews of your company, and realizing that others are feeling frustrated also, and getting the run around from your company. As well as being "nickel and dimed" with tons of extra charges for one thing or another. We have had Shumate of Raleigh come out in the past, and if we don't hear back soon from your company, we are going to give our business to them from now on, ask for a service agreement refund, post a bad review on the Internet, and file a complaint with the BBB. Please let us know what you can do.

Description of Work: FREON CHARGING. THEY WANT 50.00 PER POUNF FOR FREON WHEN IT COST 12-15 PER POUND AND THE WANT 100.00 JUST TO COME OUT. RIDICULOUS!!! FRAUD AND ROBERY IS WHAT THEY ARE DOING.
