Description of Work: Borges constructions has done many projects at my house. Taking a door out of the front of my house and building a wall, taking a load bearing wall down and placing a beam between the dining room and kitchen and grouting the kitchen floor. It has been a pleasure to work with Dayan. He is precise, professional, shows up on time, cleans up the space, bids are fair and the work is done on time. I will use them in the future for sure.!! Description of Work: Completely gutted and remodeled bathroom and vanity areas with granite and tile: installed glassed-in shower with a full seat, higher toilet,new tub, vanity, sinks and fixtures, installed pocket door to bath, removed outer door between vanity area and MBR and installed cabinet in what had been a completely- useless area between the two previous doors. Last spring we contracted for complete bathroom replacement with DAYAN BORGES, including a deadline, and we're COMPLETELY satisfied with what he and his workers produced!!! His estimate was broken down into product (if we wanted higher or lower grade we knew immediately how much different the cost would be) cost of materials to install product, and labor costs, which he always met. Each Thursday I received a bill for what he worked on that week. I KNEW what everything would cost. Workmanship by those under his supervision was careful and precise. No sawing or tile cutting was done in the house, and at the end of every day they cleaned - often better than it had been on arrival. |We like his and his men's work so much we also had them put in a new hardwood floor in the MBR and its closet, and paint all the rooms.

Description of Work: We hired Dan in the spring to replace a fiberglass bath/shower with a tub and tile shower. I love that he gave us a detailed estimate. The crew did a very good job on the bathroom and always cleaned up each day. They came back once to touch up a couple of issues. However, we had another job in line for them to do some light fixtures in our kitchen. We never received an updated estimate despite leaving both email and voicemail messages. The last I heard from them in July was when they were at our house to do the estimate. We were told they wouldn't be able to do it until the end of September which was fine, but never heard back from them on an estimate or scheduled date. This was very disappointing, as we were pretty happy with our shower/bath redo. I don't really feel like we should need to chase someone down for our business. It also makes me concerned that if we have future issues should arise with our bathroom, the "guarantee" on their work may not hold if they don't bother getting in touch with us for new jobs.

Description of Work: I hired them for general handyman work. He changed out some dining room and bathroom fixtures for me. He has also replaced some pipes in my backyard. He also replaced my kitchen floor.

Description of Work: Borges Construction has done 2 jobs for us. The first was to remove a plastic shower stall and carpet from the bathroom. They put down tiles on the floor and step and created a shower stall with tiled floors and walls. We picked out the tiles and they worked with us to insure that the details we forgot including matching grout were covered. Our second project was building a deck. They removed our steps, worked with us to design a deck, worked with the city and our HOA to insure we are compliant and meet city inspection requirements. The desk has seats and planters or tables instead of rails.

Description of Work: Dayan Borges, the owner of Borges Construction Company, has done work on our home many times and we have always been satisfied with his workmanship, integrity and price. Most recently, he built new shelving in our pantry which rivaled professional closet systems at a much reduced price. He has also installed crown molding in every room of our two story home. He is an excellent carpenter but also competent in all phases of home repair. I have recommended home to many people who have also been impressed with his work. Our daughter has used him for general repairs throughout her home. Dayan can do many things but he has also been a valuable source for other tradesmen. He has recommended professional plumbers and painters and we have been satisfied with their workmanship as well. He is extremely trustworthy and honest. We have no hesitation about Dayan being in our home when we are not present. I highly recommend him

Description of Work: I hired them for handyman work, drywall, painting, shower tile repair, deck painting and powerwashing.

Description of Work: I hired them to take out an exterior door and frame in a wall. They were great and very good. I have used them in the past. They were professional, nice, courteous and showed up when they were supposed to. There were some things that they needed to come back and do which was fine with me. They always arrived on time when they said they would. They did everything exactly how we wanted and they cleaned up their mess. I would hire them again in the future.

Description of Work: Turned a single bedroom into 2, added a closet and wall. Turned closet into powder room. Tiled powder room and foyer. Repaired tile in kitchen. Added shelves, hooks, bike rack, etc., as needed. Hung shades, draperies and rods. Made minor repairs throughout condo and our home.
