Description of Work: I bought a Angies List Big Deal for attic insulation for 500 SF. Apparently the fine print said that you had to fully insulate your attic and could not just use the 500 SF. Well my attic was over 1000 SF and I was charged around $1 per SF 500+ over the 500. Still not a bad deal but I hadnt wanted to insulate the other area of my attic.

Description of Work: Cleaned the dryer vent but it cost twice as much as advertised. We were not told to measure the vent before purchasing and assumed the cost would be what we paid Angie's List. We don't like surprises.

Description of Work: The services that I assumed were included in the price kept adding up. The two guys that came were professional and assured me that they would be done by 1 pm. I had a guest coming over. Then one of the men left and I said will the job still be done by 1pm? He assured me it would be. My guest arrived and the job didn't get done until 3 pm. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the man who left.

Description of Work: They did a good job but their deal was an "in" to increase their service cost. It was a deal that Angie's List should not have been party to provide without the notice that most jobs require significantly more material than being purchased. They didn't offer a continued "good" deal on the additional material.

Description of Work: I missed the fine print that stated the $69 rate only covered 10 feet and I had 25 so a good deal more than I expected. Otherwise they did a good job and I was pleased with the work done.
