Okay. I was expecting that they would basically do a scope of how it was dirty before then show how much dirt it had captured with filters to show much they were cleaning. No before or after photographs. The question is how do you prove that you've gotten a significant cleaning on your duct work if you don't know what it is like before versus what it is after.

It went well. The willingness to do it on a Saturday was great.

No insulation was blown in (and no refund) since my attic was already at spec. The attic tent that was installed was a Styrofoam box assembled on site after measurements were taken and supplies purchased at the local store. A pretty hefty price for something that I could have done myself.

Made appointment which had to be before Dec 1st due to weather. They were to pressure clean the driveway and sidewalk per the offer. They would only clean the part of the driveway that was the width and length of 2 cars. They wanted an additional $155 to finish the driveway that was less space than the 2 car space. Never mentioned the sidewalk. We told them to forget it. It seemed like a bait and switch to us. We were very disappointed with them. The 2 services we have had through Angie's list has been disappointing. We would like a refund of the $49.00 charged to our credit card.

The company was very responsive and quickly got in touch with me. Unfortunately, the services offering in the "deal" couldn't be used in my home configuration. Really nice people who were very helpful.

We had scheduled the work and 2 cars wide 45- 50ft long and they were going to charge me over $600 extra. I said he can just do what would be included in the deal and he said it would not be worth his time to not do additional work. They were nice but did not do the work.

The guys were very friendly and professional. They took a look at my attic situation and determined that I didn't need actually need anymore insulation. They talked me through an economical do it yourself solution for my attic door instead of trying to sell me their services. Based on their expertise I'm going to seek a refund from angie's list for their big deal. Thanks guys for you honest assessment. If I need any services in the future under your purview I'll certainly give you a call.

The two technicians were outstanding. They were both professional, and able to do what was needed. I am impressed with this company, and will definitely call them again.

We moved into a 30yr old home about a year ago and during that time have developed concerns regarding the air ducts / air quality (including a mildew smell coming out of some of the upper level vents while the upstairs unit was running). I decided to purchase the Big Deal, but knew this was not going to cover the full cost of service. ECS was very prompt and responsive in scheduling the service. However, they contacted me the day before the scheduled appointment to request a change from 8:30am to 12-2pm arrival. I agreed, but requested closer to 12pm if possible. They wound up showing up around 3pm. The woman I spoke to on the phone was very helpful and told me to call her with any concerns, particularly around the price for additional units / returns once they provided estimates for needed services. I knew that the Big Deal was not going to cover all of my vents / returns. The deal provided for 12 vents, 2 returns, and 1 main. I had a total of 20 vents ($10 per addtl), 3 returns ($30 per addtl), and 3 mains ($40 per addtl). I didn't understand the difference between a return and main prior to setting up the cleaning, so the additional charges were even more than I expected. I anticipated paying around $450 in total, although my invoice was initially for $820 (in addition to the $165 I paid for the Big Deal). We were able to negotiate this down to $700, so the total work cost me $865. I have a broken vent plate and my dryer vent was not cleaned even with this expense. There were 2 men here for about 3 1/2 hours - I'm having a hard time justifying the price with the work that was done. The other recommended services were a mold treatment in the duct work ($300) and a cleaning of the blower fan on one of the units ($300). Based on a visual inspection of the fan, and the concerns about the air quality, I felt these additional services were necessary and agreed to proceed. I feel the prices were too much for the amount of time / effort / materials needed. The good news is that I have noticed some imrpovement with the indoor air quality. Thankfully, we were headed out overnight when the cleaning was done - the antimicrobial duct treatment was toxic and the fumes lingered for over 24hrs even with the unit fan running. A couple minor observations - the vent was not re-covered in my laundry room, another vent cover was damaged in my living room, and there were dust balls left in some of the vent covers. Overall, I think the cleaning did some good, and I wish there was better information available for consumers trying to determine what services they should / shouldn't do. I appreciate them working with me somewhat on the price, but feel that the price was still too high for the quality / duration of work.

They were very professional during scheduling. However, we ended up not needing the service.

Over I was not pleased with the end result. Two gentlemen came out and they were very polite. They started downstairs and worked very well, but when they got upstairs I felt like they were rushing. I just wish they had taken their time upstairs like they did downstairs.

I purchased a ?big deal? from Angie?s List for air duct cleaning for $129. When ECS arrived at my home, they asked for the big deal voucher and began working. LATER, I was given a written quote stating that the size of my home was larger than the deal and the cost for all recommended services was $1,356. This is 10 times the big deal price! If the work had not been started, I would have declined service and asked for a refund. They agreed to a lower price for fewer services, but I am shocked at the unprofessional way this was done. In addition, the workers found mold near one of the HVAC vents; they didn?t clean it, tell me how to clean it or recommend a company that does that. I called their office a few days later to ask how to clean the mold since they are listed as a ?mold remediation? company, and they never returned the call.

Bought the deal from Angie's list. Everything went well.

The vendor arrived and told me that they would need to charge an additional $300.00 to perform their services. My deck is only 10' by 10' but they said the railing and lattice around the bottom put it over the 200 square foot limit. I disagreed with their assessment and declined their proposal. I would like my money for the coupon to be refunded.

Josh and Dave showed up for my appointment in time. They were professional, courteous and friendly.I purchased the Angie's List $77 Bid Deal, but I ended up paying almost double due to the length of the dryer vent. Anyway, Josh and Dave worked hard and did a very good job. They also cleaned up after finishing their job. I am pleased with their work.

They were wonderful - did a great job, and replaced the filters for me, which was over and above what they were supposed to do

Great! We needed to reschedule due to weather and they were responsive and so easy to work with. I recede phone calls from not only the office staff but the individual guys assigned to my job. They were polite, respectful and super helpful. They even made sure that I was satisfied. I cannot say enough good things about them! I have had many service workers in and out of the house over the last 10 years (cleaners, yard work, window washers, kitchen remodel, gutters, etc.) and this company is by far the best I have ever worked with!

After our first appt we had a few concerns regarding completion of all the work paid for. Jeremy and Lauren the owner were extremely responsive to our concerns and had Josh another techinician come out very quickly to make sure that all of the work was completed. The whole team was terrific to work with and I was very impressed with their professionalism and response to our concerns about the work being completed. I would definitely recommend them to others. As a side note, make sure if you purchase the deal that you understand that any additional main lines on your system are $85 extra. We knew the vents were extra and the dryer vent, but were not aware of the extra main line. All in all...great job and great team. We will definitely use them again.

Communications were excellent. Both men were friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend this company.

Reading the reviews, I read that there were additional charges over 10 foot, and it cost $10/ft extra, didn’t want to pay that much extra for the deal. They were professional. Based on the experience so far I would use them again in the future.
