(not too good the first time, but they eventually came back and fixed it)

We contracted with Appalachian Air Ducts in 2013, through Angie's List, and were quite pleased. Two gentlemen dealt quickly and professionally with our needs. The bill was $69. This year we contracted through Environmental Cleaning Solutions for $69. A charge of $99 was added. One gentleman did the work, and we were told the space between the drier and the outside vent added the extra cost. Same house, same distance between drier and outside vent as 3 yrs. ago. He also took the outside vent cover off and apparently took it with him. It is spring. We can only hope there are no bird's nests within. We shall not call for their services again.

They were in and out very quickly.

It went just fine but I was surprised at the cost. We had used them a year ago and the cost was much less.

This is a great company. I really needed my dryer vent cleaned quickly and they worked me in at the last minute. They were on time and did a wonderful and through job. I will use them again.

I was quite surprised to see such a small flat bed trailer arrive. It's really hard to visualize how much they could actually take for the very reasonable $69 charge. They were able to take the most critical things, but for the rest of it we will be making trips to a local recycling center. I did not want to pay more, and I'm not sure how much more they could have taken on that small trailer anyway. We did get a quote for crawl space improvements, and we are considering whether to have them do that work. They were responsive, professional and punctual.

Cleaned dryer vent. Did not clean the inside lint trap area of the dryer itself. Other times, this was included in the service. Was not aware the $69 special only included 10 feet of service area.

They were awesome! Worked around my schedule and did a great job. Definitely recommend them (specifically Josh).

No complaints. They provided the service and were prompt.

It was fine. I still have a lot of dust coming out of the vents but I've heard from other people that they have had the same experience no matter who you hire.

They were very professional. As will all duct cleaning companies, you have to scrutinize the extra services they will recommend. Just be prepared for it to be multiples of what you agreed to pay for duct cleaning. We had some fungus growing on our ac units, but I know we are replacing these units soon. They offered to clean both units for $720, which I declined. They were not in the slightest bit upset or pushy, which I really appreciated. Luckily I have my own chemicals and fogger and also know a lot about HVAC to be able to complete the cleaning myself. If you don't know much, I think they would have done it for much less, but i did not ask. It probably would have been worth another $300 - $400 or so to have them do it. Overall, very good experience. Just be cautious with the extra services, which I guarantee will be offered on each and every cleaning.

Excellent! I purchased the deal on AngiesList.com and within a few hours Environmental Cleaning & Restoration Solutions called to schedule my appointment. It was great, they were able to get me in the very next week. The morning of the appointment they called to let me know when they would be arriving. They were on time and the appointment took no time at all. It was an easy process from start to finish, I would recommend them.

The repairs would have been costly so I didn’t proceed further.

The air duct people were fine, but I think it was overpriced. They really do not do a whole lot for the amount of money they charge. We were not that impressed. They cleaned it out, but it seemed like they brought in a heavy duty vacuum cleaner to clean out the smaller ducts. They have a bigger unit to clear the main air thing. It seemed like for the price, they did not spend a lot of time or money. I do not know if that was a good value. What they do is they give you a disinfectant for molds and stuff so we ended up paying probably another $100 or $120. To me, it was kind of like a bait-and-switch because I do not know what the chemicals actual do and how much they cost to put in, but my guess is they come in with a good price of $119 and all of a sudden you are spending $219. We have two systems, up and down, so I could understand. It was neat and clean, but I do not know if we would use them again. I do not know if we would use anybody to do that again. I think it is more that than it is anything else. Unless you have a real mold problem or some other issues, I do not know if we would need to do that based on what we know now. The guys were nice. They cleaned up nice. It is just that we ended paying twice what we thought we would. Their responsiveness was okay. They were punctual.

It was more expensive mainly because of a second hvac system and additional vents and returns.

Very well. Very professional. Completed to the job quickly and even provided advice for future upkeep.

They came and surveyed the dryer and where the vent ran. They efficiently cleaned and then sanitized the vent. All went very smoothly and they were very professional.

It went fine. But it looks like maybe they didn't put down enough of the stuff because now, it looks like it needs to be redone again. That just seems quick to me, but maybe that's normal. The technician that was here did a decent job. I did have to pay extra because of the steps.

They called to schedule almost immediately. Called before arriving to give estimated time of arrival. Found some of the ducts in the back of house were really clogged. House was built in 1943 and we've done a lot of renovation. Cleaned really well. They also cleaned up after themselves. Very professional. Would definitely recommend and use again.

They did what they said they were going to do. We were not happy with the results. The original plan was that they were supposed to pick up 900 pounds of things but they came out with a little trailer that doesn't look like it could even hold 500 pounds. The three big places we wanted down got done but after that there were some other things we wanted them to get out of here and they didn't have a big enough trailer. So we were okay with what we got but we were not pleased. They were very responsive. They did show up when they said they would be here.

Everything went well. I have no complaints. They did a very good cleanup of the areas they worked in.

We bought a Angie's List special for $69. The immediately reached out to schedule and were flexible with our schedule. They showed up on time, did a thorough job and cleaned up after themselves. Also, they took their shoes off on the new carpet. The one issue I had is that the Angie's List special only covers 10ft of run, so unless your dryer vent sits against an exterior wall, be prepared to pay additional.
