It went well! They were very punctual and they didn’t take long. I was just impressed, I like people that are on time.

Fine. I think they may have left out one procedure in the Offer, but it may have been an oversight or my misunderstanding of the Offer.

Great , did complete cleanout ,removed everything out of garage ,powered wash and scrubed floor, cleaned walls. Looked great when they got finished and then put everything back. Great job.

All went well. They were prompt and did exactly what the deal indicated. I had 20 feet of vent line and they charged $10/foot for cleaning 10 feet greater than the 10 feet indicated in the deal. They also repaired my dryer vent line and did not charge extra.

they were punctual and clean but they for $300 more and I payed $200, I don't know if that was or was not part of the deal.

Efficient and friendly service, they were mindful of our small dog and me working from home through the cleaning process.

They came out ahead of time because I wanted to make sure there were no hidden prices. The special was only for 200 sq ft, so I had to pay extra for my deck and pressure wash. I would not use them again. The whole process was supposed to restore the deck. That money would have been better spent if I had went and just got new boards. Whatever they did with washing it down and sealing it, that sealing did absolutely nothing. It didn't waterproof. I think what they did stripped it down even more. It looks worse now than when I had them come clean it. I have not reached back out to them because when I asked THEN about the waterproofing, I couldn't see what they did immediately. They didn't restore it back to anything. Now it's getting worse. I asked them while they were there, so it made no sense to me to call them back. It's probably going to require me to have pieces replaced to get it back in order.

They were on time. They came when they said they would be. They arrived. They did the job and that was it. Efficient, I guess, is the word I'm looking for.

They took care of it quickly. They were very efficient about it. We ended up replacing the drier vent.

I purchased the offer off of Angie's List to have them install a vapor barrier in my crawl space. They were very courteous from beginning to end. Most companies would just come and throw down a sheet of plastic and leave. This company arrived promptly and took the time to do a quality job. I would definitely recommend them!

It was excellent. It worked out well. They came, they cleaned up the dryer vent. They installed my dryer, but I noticed that it wasn't working. I thought maybe that the dryer vent on the roof was stuck. I called them and explained they were here and that it wasn't working. They responded quickly and got on the roof and fixed that. That's why I gave them an "A". In the future, I would use them for other services.

I was initially pleased with the services performed by ECS in mid-July. The technicians brought in an industrial-style vacuum with an auger attachment to perform the bulk of the work. They used a household vacuum to clean floors following the cleaning of the ducts. After moving into the house, cleaning and painting, I noticed several issues: 1-Not all air registers were removed for cleaning, as evident by the undisturbed paint at the borders of the bedroom registers. The voucher/cleaning package specified removal and cleaning of 12 air registers (and additional charges for additional registers). 2-Two registers (one supply and one return) air registers were removed without scoring of the edges of each register prior to their removal. As a result, some paint chipped off the walls instead of where the registers met the walls. This is completely avoidable by using a utility/exacto-type knife to essentially slice between the paint on the register and the paint on the wall prior to removing the register. 3-My more significant concern is the value of the mold/mildew/fungus treatment I authorized while the technicians were on site. One of the technicians showed me photos on a smartphone of what appeared to be mold spots in long stretch (several feet or more) of rectangular duct work that he mentioned was "upstairs". I took him at his word and authorized the $320 charge. The technician spent about 20 minutes applying what I assume are mold removal spray treatments in the return ducts. After moving into the house, I replaced a supply register on the second floor and realized that there are no long lateral ducts dedicated to the second floor as they are located between the first and second floors in soffits, with the second-floor supply registers in floors. Because the second floor supply registers are narrow (just under 2 inches) and none of them open directly to a long lateral within reach (they appear to be attached via round branch ducts), it would be difficult, if not impossible, for the technician to have taken a photo using a large smartphone in my actual ductwork. I suspect, but cannot prove, that the technician showed me a photo from another property. In August, I relayed my concerns to the owner and received a prompt and professional response. The owner /dispatcher mentioned that the technician would reach out to me. The owner/dispatcher also mentioned that it is policy for technicians to delete photos after leaving jobs, which said to me that it is unlikely for my concern about the existence of mold to be resolved. The technician did reach out to me twice, while I was at work. I attempted to return his call once (one evening and one lunch break but he was not available). I did not subsequently pursue communication as I cannot prove the technician incorrect and I do not believe my efforts will lead to a resolution. I'm sure that mold is prevalent in duct work throughout homes in NC, but I don't have high confidence in the evidence that the technician showed me, nor do I believe that the services performed were worth $700.

It was not good. He said that I had a flexible vent and he only had equipment for the hard vents. He said that if he used that, it would rip up the material. All he did was clean the front and the back. He really didn't do anything. What he could have done better is he could have a game plan of how to deal with those types of vents instead of saying you don't have the equipment to clean it.

I hired them originally for my air ducts and mold was found, they got all of that out and then we moved to work in my attic and crawlspace. The company's hoses did not fit our system. They cleaned a small portion of one part of the system, nowhere near what was supposed to be done according to the package. Never cleaned the dryer vent nor did any of the other services we had paid for, never offered to try to clean our 2nd system (house has 2) to see if the ducts there would be large enough for their hoses, nothing. Just gave minimal service and left.

I guess they did an okay job. I expected them to check the ducts for mold, but they didn't tell us anything about that. Not sure if I would hire them next time. I will probably hire whoever has a deal advertised.

They showed up on time, were very friendly, left everything clean and neat, and didn't try to upsell me any other services. I even asked if I needed a new out side cover and they said mine was fine and there was no need to spend the money. I would uses them again without a second thought.

The service was fine. The deck was a bit larger than what was specified in the Deal so I paid a little bit more than the $199 Big Deal cost.

They arrived on time. Got my dryer vent cleaned quickly and then cleaned up after themselves.

Final cost for duct cleaning was $460, more than 3x the purchase value! I completely expected the cost to increase due to the number of vents and returns and whatever conditions unforeseen by me but not 3x. I did not count our vents or returns or the two additional main lines under the house so shame on me for not doing so. The fine print of the deal mentions additional costs associated with these items, and again, shame on me for not understanding the ultimate potential cost of this service. However, I feel like Provider should have asked about the number of vents/returns and house configuration via email/telephone so they could advise us that the final cost would likely be significantly higher than the offered deal. Everyone should be aware of the potential for this deal to balloon significantly beyond the purchase cost unless you live in small condo. Lesson learned - if it sounds like a good deal, you might be missing something. Provider was responsive and friendly. They also sold us another $250 of sanitizer that was sprayed in the ducts so the final cost was about $710 and I am not factoring this additional service into my comments. This was the first "deal" we've purchased via Angie's List and likely the last.

I purchased a Big Deal to have the air ducts and dryer duct cleaned in my home. The technicians arrived on time and got right to work. They counted the number of returns and vents to see if additional costs were required. I had one more return then what was included in the deal, which was fine. Once everything was agreed upon, they began by removing the covers for the returns and vents. They cleaned all of the returns and vents including the dryer vent. When they finished with ducts, they began to clean the covers and put them back in place. One vent was not put back into place which was found after they left. I would have given a higher rating if it weren't for me catching one of the workers going through the drawers in my bedroom. He stated he was looking for an ammonia based cleaner for the vent covers. Not sure why I would keep something like that in my nightstand or why he couldn't have just asked if I had something like that. I didn't contact the company regarding this as nothing had been taken but since this had already happened to me once before, different contractor, I will find another company to clean the air ducts in the future.

Vendor did a good job and would recommend them to other members.

VERY WELL. THEY DID A GOOD JOB. THERE WERE A FEW PLACES WHERE DIRT WAS LEFT ON WINDOW SILLS BECAUSE THE DUCTS WERE VERY DIRTY. THE DID VACUUM BUT JUST OVERLOOKED ALL THE DIRT LEFT IN A FEW SPOTS.

Very pleased with the work and the result. Communication was good throughout the process. Initially deck was pressure washed. A few days later after dry, a clear protective coat was applied. Deck looks excellent!
