The included 1 lb. (2 since we bought 2 Big Deals) of refrigerant was a joke because naturally we didn't need any. They also suggested that we replace the capacitors on the motors because they are sure to fail soon (almost 2 years later, they still haven't failed). I'll stick to the guy that installed our systems originally - Central Systems in Concord.

the office was easy to communicate with and the appointment was set up quickly, the technician arrived on time, very friendly, and professional, they are a well run business. I wish the price could have been better.

They were very professional and honest and did the work quickly and efficiently. I am so grateful to know that there are companies that don't encourage over selling or over charging! The other company I called wanted to charge 10 times the amount for repairs and/or sell me a new system when they knew I was not planning to stay in the house. I will continue to use McClintock for any heating and air repairs in the future. Highly impressed!

Purchased a Big deal for McClintock Heating Cooling & Electrical Inc. Our furnace was not working and they found the problem. They replaced the broken part. They responded quickly when I called. They did great work without any extra charges.

It was perfect. He walked me through the issue and stayed on the phone until I figured it out. I will definitely use McClintock in the future.

The installation went very well. I was able to trust them working in our house while we were at work. They were exceptionally clean. O e item that really struck me as extraordinary service was remaking our beds for the outdoor condenser pads. Our original condensers were bordered by a small stack stone wall with gravel backfill. Due to a new code, they had to move one of the pads further away. On day one they tore up the gravel bed. I fully expected that I would have to make it neat again. When I returned the next night, not only had they installed the new pads and condenser, but they had neatly constructed my stone wall again and back filled with additional gravel. That's what I call going over and above. They finished the project one day early. The systems are running great! The business office, Kimberly and Lisa, have been an absolute pleasure to work with. I highly recommend McClintock to anyone.

They were very friendly and did not talk down to me or try to up sell me, as another company's rep had done. The pricing was similar but a little less from McClintock, but it was their genuineness and thorough check and explanation that made the difference for me.

It couldn't have gone better. The employees were more than responsive to my comfort needs and sought the best ways to satisfy them. The business owner and the project supervisors made it very clear that customer satisfaction was paramount. There was one error in the installation but it was remedied in quick time at no inconvenience to me..

No complaints. They delivered what they said they would at what seemed like a fair price. We decided to keep the current furnaces (natural gas) and supplement them with heat pumps for use during the milder winter weather. Since we have 2 units, it took them 2 days, well, a day and a half really, but they told us up front it would be more than one day. It took about 10 days from time of order until installation. Things are much cooler around here now. We have not yet received a power bill (since the new system was installed) but these units are newer and more efficient than the old ones, so I'm expecting some savings on my AC.

Sales person, Randy, was super. Explained all aspects and options, answered numerous questions again and again. Then came back to explain to my husband. Followed up consistently. Was the only company of the three we got quotes from that explained the rebates from the government and utilities. Installers were on time, polite, quiet, trustworthy and kept everything picked up. The owner showed up on the first day to be sure all was starting well. Randy with a Trane representative stopped by during installation. Quality control is a priority and it shows. Great suggestions of changes in ductwork to fix the upstairs years long issues of unsatisfactory heating and cooling of different rooms. Best of all each room in our home is now the exact temperature we each want. A pleasure to deal with.

My heating system was not working properly, so I called McClintock. I've had positive interactions with them in the past, so they were my first call. I got the lower-priced Angies List deal for a $50 diagnostic. When the technician got to my home, he determined that my HVAC system had been installed without any filters (and without a place to install a filter). My home was built in the 1950s, and a different company had installed the current HVAC system in 2009. The McClintock technician gave me a quote for how much the service would cost, and recommended I contact the company that had installed the system in 2009. That was great advice, because the original install company fixed their error for free. McClintock saved me a lot of money!

They were very easy schedule an appointment with and offered a free second opinion when I told them I had a competitor out to diagnose the problem. They showed up on time, called ahead, and were very professional about everything they did. Our upstairs unit has never worked right and is a very lengthy story that they listened to politely but some of the aspects of it seemed to be lost on them as outer install later pointed out. There quote was only a few hundred dollars higher than the lowest and the same as two other quoting the same Trane unit. They did a proper load calculation but missed the fact that our duct work and plenum boxes needed replacing or reworking.

Prompt response to call. On time arrival for service. Performed inspect and provided the diagnosis as well as the options and costs before continuing. Helped me decide the best approach to the issue. Once the decision was made on the repairs they were performed quickly and professionally. I would recommend them and use them again. While I did not like the price, it was fair and competitive. HVAC repairs continue to rise due to government regulations placing the burden of the costs to those that pay for themselves.

McClintock came on right on time to our house to inspect or furnace, they were very pleasant and informative of everything they were doing. Will use they again.

Randy came out to see my home, took all measurements on my ducts, drew up a rough sketch of the duct and plenum changes needed and the McClintock team was back a week later to do the one day install. The crews were very polite, clean, and knowledgeable. Randy and Rob provided me with the courteous professional respect I couldn't get from their peer companies, worked with my budget and took the proactive step to build my system so that we can upgrade to a full zone system when we can afford it...can't recommend this team enough and in fact have already given Randy's info to colleagues with similar issues.

McClintock Heating Cooling & Electrical Inc came in August. My A/C units, he duct taped my HVAC. I found my heating needs this diagnostic thing. The damn thing wouldn't turn on. The burners were dirty. They took my money, we have to fire up the A/C unit and we have to fix that too. I spent close to $500. Say $450. I had to hire somebody else to do something when I fired up my heating, they came and said it was dirty. They pointed other things from my heating unit. I have to follow these people around, I can't keep this help here. My heat won't even heat up.

It went very well. The service was professional and accurate. The person was able to tell us what was wrong with our upstairs heating system and quote to fix it.
