They came out, didn't do any work, but told me I needed a new furnace and provided me with a quote. We ended up buying a new furnace through another company with a better quote.

I purchased the Angie Deal for the fall furnace and warm weather a/c tune up. This review is only on the furnace piece, but I was more than pleased with their service. We just purchased a house and the neither furnace worked. After a quick look by the repair man, he was able to quickly determine that it was a simple installation error. He was polite and very helpful. Would definitely use them again and I am looking forward to their warm weather a/c tune up in the spring.

Bought the $109 Deal for two systems heating and cooling annual check ups. Called and they were very polite. The technician was awesome. He walked me through all the Furnace checks he performed giving me a lot of helpful information regarding the furnace as well as other related systems. First time a technician has taken the time to show me that and now I am a more informed customer. Also helped show me how to dampen a heating duct to make a room less hot.

It went very well. The technician went over all the details of what work he did. He suggested some new repairs which I decided to take up later.

We were very pleased with Tyler, he arrived on time did a great job - very professional. We are more than happy with our Tier 1 experience.

He noticed that the igniter was getting ready to go out so asked Tyler if he could replace this part. He had the part on his truck glad to get this done. We setup a contract to keep up with our heater and heat pump. so they will come out in the spring to tune up the heat pump. Tyler was very professional and let us know if we needed them to call . Brad came out to do the checkup and re-balance under the contract. Brad discovered a blower motor capacitor was not up to spec after 6 years of service and asked if I wanted him to replace. No pressure at all. I had him come back and replace the capacitor and at the same time do a small amount of re-ducting because the builder really didn't have the ductwork right. Very pleased with the price and the work. I would recommend these guys.

Amazing service and experience from the moment I received their phone call to schedule an appointment. Brad was our technician, and was nothing short of professional and courteous. Reviewed exactly what he was going to inspect prior to performing work, and then reviewed some minor adjustments/ tweaks that he performed. I.e. small leak in one of the units, which needed to be sealed.

I called Tier One to take them up on their $59 fall tune-up offer for my furnace. They were very courteous and scheduled my service all promptly. The technician showed up when promised. He was very courteous and professional. He discovered a filter that I didn't know was in the furnace duct under the house. It was very dirty and had been there for years. He told me it shouldn't have been there because I already had two filters in the cold air returns inside my house (which I knew about and had been replacing regularly.) He also called me under the house to show me mold that was growing on the outside of the duct work leading from the furnace to my heat registers. He said mold was also inside of the duct and advised installing an Air Knight Ionizing Partical Gathering air purification system with an ultra violet light to eliminate the mold and other pollutants. The installation of the device took only minutes. I was a little surprised by the $968 installation charge, since the device is available for purchase on the internet for about $450. However, I realize that mark-ups are part of how HVAC companies make their profit. I am not sure how beneficial this air purification system will be. I notice that the manufacturer's literature describes it as virtually maintenance-free (with an asterisk that they recommend replacing the "core" in the device every two years. If I do that, I don't know how much that would cost. I see on line that that part can run anywhere from $179 to about $250, before mark-up.

This company is top notch. They're punctual. They're price fairly and everyone is very pleasant to deal with. Most of all, they're trustworthy. I highly recommend them.

I was impressed with the quick response to my request. This was an exceptionally hot day and he was able to get to my problem in just several hours. I am not easy to please, at least I get told that a lot, but this company met all and exceeded my expectations. I will use again.

It went fine. They were here on time and did a good job. They replaced a piece in my A/C & they were here about 30 minutes.

I found them on Angie's list. They had a deal for a $39 diagnosis during business hours. I called at 3:50 in the afternoon and they said they might be able to squeeze me in before their guys went home. To my shock, they were at my door just 40 minutes later. Wow! That's customer service! Originally they thought the bearings in the fan motor were shot and gave me a choice of a factory part or a generic. They fully explained the pros and cons of both. We decided to try the less expensive fix to see if that worked. When they put in the new motor the noise was still there so they put the old motor back in and found the problem was with the wobbly fan blades. They didn't have a replacement part with them and it was after hours but they were able to do a temporary fix. The fix could last the life of our aging unit or it could come apart again. No guarantees. My only complaint is that I asked if this repair would go towards the cost to do the real fix and wanted to know what that real fix price would be. They were going to check with their manager and get back to me but I never heard back from anyone. Nor did I call back the next day. I don't want to jinx anything but the fix is still holding and hopefully will stay that way until we can replace the A/C unit.

Great! They're very good. They went over everything that I had purchased. They did the work here and gave me a recommendation. They were very prompt and they called before they came. They've got someone in their office that schedules and they had they could meet on the next day if I wanted but it was a little bit speedy for me. I liked that very much.

We used them ever since we moved into our house. We used them less than a year ago and we will have them come back and do service. I spent two hundred dollars and they fixed something. We had a next issue with something else and they came back and fixed it without charging us, because they had been there within less than a month or something, they did not think that something should go wrong. They have great customer service. I would use them in the future.

I had previous service with them. I have had my cold weather tune up with them, and this was my second warm weather tune up with them. I have no problems with them. The price was reasonable.

Adding to the problem, this was approximately 3:15 on a Saturday when we encountered this problem. We immediately turned to Angie's List for help. A couple of providers closed at 4 or 5, or were closed entirely on Saturdays. We then saw quite a few positive reviews for Tier 1 Heating and Air, and placed a call to them. A friendly lady answered my call and said that someone would return my call within 20 minutes, and within that time, Brad called. He listened thoroughly as I described the problem and everything we'd done to try to fix it, and then got directions to the house and said he could be there within an hour when he finished his current job! He did exactly as he said he would do. At this time, I had been planning to join family for a get together that evening but knew I would need to stay home while the AC was repaired; however, after a short time, Brad advised that he thought that the repair would actually be quite minor. There is an electrical wall switch on the wall of our laundry room, where the indoor portion of the HVAC system is located in the house, and it looks just like an ordinary light switch. One of our family guests had apparently flipped that "light switch" "OFF" after passing through the area on the way to a guest restroom and inadvertently turned off the entire AC system!!! Flipping this switch back on was all that it took to get everything going again. This company, and Brad in particular, will be our new HVAC repair company from this day forward. Aside from the fact that we were able to obtain emergency service, on a weekend, no less, they also demonstrated a tremendous level of integrity , and ended up charging us only the $64 that was the fee (with a current Angie's List coupon) for the original service call, when we were totally at the mercy of the service provider and could easily have been sold a bill of goods. We highly recommend using them, and won't call anyone else in the future for our own needs!

My A/C went out, so I called Tier 1 that I found on Angie?s List. They were able to schedule me for the same day. Tyler got to my house at the scheduled time and promptly inspected my A/C unit. He was very friendly and professional. It was my fan motor that went bad. He called a local supplier and luckily they had one in stock. I have an older unit so the motor I needed is tough to find. He went and picked up the motor, installed it, cleaned the coils and checked the system. I now have a HVAC company that I will recommend to friends and family. Thank you.

Very well. When I called, they were able to schedule a repair the same day, actually within a few hours. The technician called within the time window I was promised and told me he would be at my house within 20-30 minutes, which he was. He was very professional, very friendly. He explained what he was doing throughout, and quickly diagnosed my problem. He explained the cost to perform the repair, and once I accepted, he had the necessary parts on his truck, and performed the repair. He then verified that everything was working as intended.
