Tier One did an excellent job. They were highly attentive to details and concerned about my input. They had a good follow through. I've already recommended them to other people. The price was very competitive and the quality of work was excellent.

My thermostat was calling for air conditioning, the inside blower was running, the outside condenser fan was running, but my house was getting warmer by the minute. Because I had signed up for Tier 1's semi-annual maintenance checks, Tier 1 had promised me priority on service calls, and a discount on parts and services. I called Chris at Tier 1 to request service and to explain some unusual circumstances. Let me just say that I made things "challenging" for them. They had every right to put me at the bottom of their list. Nevertheless, Chris and his techs responded quickly. They could not have been more courteous or professional. Their troubleshooting was quick and accurate. My not-too-old-but-out-of-warranty AC compressor was "fried". Although my unit is a discontinued model, they were able to source a replacement compressor that same day! They worked well into the night, at no extra charge, to get the unit up and running again. I can't say enough about Tier 1, Chris, and their techs. ...especially Brad, who worked patiently through some real head-scratching developments.

We had a little consultation, but I did not use them. They were a little high for me. They checked everything they needed to check as far as I can tell. It all consisted of pretty much what my problem was. I told him I'd probably contact him later and let him know whether I would use him or not; but I didn't because it was way out of my reach. He checked my crawl space, but he didn't do too much checking inside, He spent more time outside where they keep the unit. He checked the wiring in my fuse box to see where the wires go. That's mainly what he did.

Chris sent Michael to take care of my furnace AND the air conditioner. He spent an hour on each, making sure they were in working condition. The gas furnace had been igniting, making louder noises than usual. He found the problem and fixed it. Also, the a/c needed fluid and that was taken care of. When he left I again felt safe in my home.

We have been pleased with the service that Tier 1 provides. Setting up an appointment is a pleasure with Chris. The technician always calls to let you know when he is on the way and any work to be performed is discussed beforehand. Everyone has been professional and very knowledgable.

The service turned out great. They have been wonderful to work with. I also put my mother on their maintenance schedule. They have been very good overall and I have recommended them to others. They are very curteous and come right out for any emergency calls.

I so like that I have the same rep every year and he does a good job. I had been using them for about 10 years and when the new company took over they wanted payment upfront. I had previously been billed but got that straightened out. I also liked that the old company would call to remind you about when the next service was needed. The new company does not call and remind you about scheduling services which I did not appreciate. You pay annually for two visits, but if you forgot to call and schedule you end up paying for a service visit that never occurs. I also had a problem with a capacitor but that issue was not addressed for a while. Because the capacitor had not failed yet they did not fix it while it was still working. But they wanted to fix it after it had failed.

The service has been wonderful. The technician was very prompt and curteous. He took care of all of our needs.

They have been very dependable. We are on a service contract with them and they come out twice a year. They have been polite, clean and very thorough in explaining what they are doing. Whenever any work was needed that was covered under the warranty they quickly fixed the issue.

The man who came was very professional. Told us everything was working fine and nothing was needed to be done.

They came to my home to repair my air on a Friday night when the outside temperature was 100 degrees. I was given an arrival time for the technicians, but they were three hours later than that due to various delays. They did keep me informed of their expected arrival time and reason for the delays. When they arrived, they were able to diagnose the problem and had one of two parts needed for the repairs, but didn't have the second main part and said they would have to either check if there was a part at the shop or they'd have to see if they could pick one up. They said they would likely not be able to perform my repairs until Monday or Tuesday, but would call if it could be done earlier. I expected a call on Saturday or even Friday night to let me know if they would be coming out, but never heard from them until Tuesday of the following week. The guys also recommended that because of the age of my unit (11 yrs), I may want to consider replacement instead, and that they could have someone come out early the next week to discuss replacement options, but they'd get things up and running for me until then and would credit the cost of the repairs toward the purchase of a new unit if I decided to go that route. Since the weather forecast was for triple-digit temperatures all weekend, I called another provider and they came out on Saturday. They had a universal replacement part on the truck and my air was fixed within 2 hours. The other company also cleaned the unit. All in all, I would not call them again. Although in most cases I prefer dealing with smaller local companies to support their businesses, in this case, the fact that they didn't have the parts I needed readily available to them, when the other company had a universal part available, was just a deciding factor. They also provided only a verbal estimate, where the other company I ended up working with provided a written estimate in advance before the work began. Finally, their communication could definitely be improved. They could have called on Saturday and at least let me know that they didn't have the part and wouldn't be able to get it that day - they kind of left me hanging not knowing what was going on.

US ANY CONSIDERATION FOR OUR WARRENTY ON THIS UNIT. WE CALLED IN TWO OTHER HVAC CONTRACTORS AND AFTER THEIR EVALUATIONS, WE WERE ADVISED TO GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL CONTRACTOR BECAUSE THEY SHOULD STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK., WHICH THEY DID NOT DO. SO WE HAD NO OTHER CHOICE BUT TO CONTACT ONE OF YOUR OTHER RECOMMENDED CONTRACTORS WHO FIXED OUR PROBLEM AT LESS THAN HALF THE PRICE.

This company did the insulation for 110 homes in our community. Many of our neighbors, along with us, continue to use them on a regular basis. We continue using their service because they are very professional, have great prices and do exactly what they are supposed to do. Also there was an incident where there was a recall on the coil in a unit they installed and they did the repair for no charge to us and billed the company directly. We have a service contract with them and they have not changed the price once, different from the unethical practices of other companies.

They come out in once the winter and once in summer to do a regular check up and maintenance. They have been very good, but scheduling became a bit of a problem as they had so much of work. They are professional, responsive and punctual.
