Description of Work: Contractor installed Hardie plank siding on the exterior of our home. Installers made several mistakes during the installation and after several revisits, they corrected a few of them. However, after several months of continuous installation problems and errors, we realized that the installers were not capable of finishing the job in a professional manner. We were not pleased with their work.

Description of Work: Ultimately the project, a screened in gazebo, was completed and I am happy with the results. However, the projected was started months after the promised date, many promises of deadlines was missed, several work crews were needed to complete the job properly. I paid the full price as agreed and was sent a letter offering a discount for the activation and missed deadlines. I have yet to receive a check for the discount. The project was completed I late April of 2015. The excuse I got was that they HS hired extra sales people who contracted for more work than the craftsman could complete on schedule.

Description of Work: Remodel of master bath. Installed a new tub and toilet. Also some tile work. Overall polite and professional.

Description of Work: Installed hardy plank on the exterior of our home. The job was done improperly, boards were hung with large gaps between them. AKR tried to repair their damage but the entire job looked so bad that another contractor had to complete the job. The process took several months because AKR was unable to repair their damage and eventually all of the siding had to be replaced. Would not recommend the company to anyone for installing siding.

Description of Work: They installed my roof which was contracted through Lowe’s. They were fine to work with. They were here on time and did the work. We had no problems with them. A year later the roof is leaking a little bit from behind the gutters.

Description of Work: I am currently in contract with AKR to convert my screen porch to an interior/sunroom. Construction has not began yet, but up to this point I have been pleased with the knowledge and professionalism of this company. Shane has responded to my questions and concerns. I will let you know how the finish project turns out.

Description of Work: I talked to this gentleman one evening and he came the next morning to give me an estimate. I explained that I just wanted a plain deck to enhance the outside look of the house in order to sell it. Unfortunately he works in composite decks and his estimate was twice the amount that I actually spent.

Description of Work: Redid old deck structure and built a new one in our back yard.

Description of Work: AKR Builders took down our old deck and built a screened porch, deck and added a stamped concrete patio. The screened porch has unique sliding adjustable windows which when open, gives the look and feel of a traditional screened porch, but can be closed to protect the area from rain, pollen, etc. We hope to be able to use the room on into winter even without the room being heated.
