They do a great job. They're not pushy and they'll tell you what needs to been done today and what can wait. They help you to map out a maintenance schedule and they'll tell you flat out if work is not needed. You get the sense they're building a lifetime customer base.

standard oil/filter change for Honda - went fine; Primarily had oil change so I would have opportunity to ask about future more expensive maintenance (e.g. timing belt replacment, tune up) to compare with prices with Crown Honda of Durham,

These guys were great. They were friendly, listened to our observations, and fixed the car quickly and without charging us an arm and a leg. So glad to have found a reliable place to take our cars!

Dropped my 2001 Mazda Miata for service on Thursday the 27th of Dec. I had recently purchased the car and although it had really low mileage, it was leaking oil, the transmission was hard to shift and I wanted to have the routine servicing done. I relayed to Phil at Wasp all of the concerns I was having and asked him to give the car a full check. The oil leak turned out to be a loose hose, the transmission fluid needed to be changed and the rest of the service was very routine. I was extremely pleased with the outcome and I am very happy that I can enjoy my new (to me) car and it didn't cost an arm and a leg to get everything taken care of. Phil was great to deal with and took the time to explain all the details to me about my car and what was done in the repair process. I am now a customer and look foward to having Wasp service my Mazda for many years to come.

I had taken my Acura RSX-s to a shop in Cary near where I work for an oil change. They naturally informed me that I needed more work done on my car, but seemed most concerned that I have the brakes worked on. They gave me a quote to replace the all brake pads and turn the rotors for about $450. I then called Performance Acura in Chapel Hill for a quote (Please never go there!). They came in around $550. I then turned to Angie's List and found Wasp Automotive was only 1.5 miles away from me and had great reviews. I called and got an estimate for about $400, so I scheduled an appointment. My wife was out of town at the time, so I asked about there shuttle service. I dropped the car off in the morning and waited in their waiting room for about 10 min while the shuttle drivers figured out which customers each should take. I got a call about 3:30 pm from the technician stating that the rear brake pads still had about 20k miles left on them and they didn't need to be replaced yet. Also, I needed new rotors and pads up front. I asked him how much everything would be, and to my delight, he said about $330. I told him to go on and do the work. He then called back at 5:00 pm and said the car was ready for pick up. I was working late and asked if I could get it in the morning. He said that would be fine. I then called the next morning, because I needed a ride there and my wife was still out of town. They sent the shuttle service back to my house to get me so I wouldn't have to ride my bike there or have two cars there and only one drive. I gladly paid my bill and was on my way. The car is running very well!

They are really trustworthy and we trust them will all of our cars.

These guys are great. It is pretty easy to get an appointment. They always do the work I ask them to do for the quoted price. On the rare occasion that they do recommend additional repairs, I get it done because I trust them. When I was a broke student, Pete gave me tips on how to change an O2 sensor so I could save some money on labor. They told me to change it first then bring it in for an oil change and they would look it over to make sure I didn't royally screw something up. They have a drop off spot in Chapel Hill and my car was always ready when I was done with my afternoon classes.

I think they are very honest. I think they are reasonably priced.

They do work on Japanese vehicles. I give them an "A" overall and I will use them again.

I have stopped going to my Toyota dealer and started going to WASP. They are cheaper, even cheaper than Groupons for brake service and other auto repair services. Every service I've done ends up being cheaper and they always fix the problem. They take the time to help, have a shuttle service, and apparently don't charge for diagnosis, which is very nice. Even replacing things like bulbs saves a ton of money because their labor rates are not anything like the dealer's standard $90 an hour rates for any job.

These guys helped me out in a big way. I brought my car in riding on the donut spare after finding my tire flat at the end of the day at work. They were just about to close up shop when I arrived, but stuck around to help me out.

Everyone needs a good car shop. Sure, you can go to the car dealership, but you don't get service customized to your car and its condition. You are an up-sell opportunity to them. I am lucky to have found WASP. They figure out quickly and efficiently what is wrong with your car (if it's not a regular service such as oil change), and give you expert options on how to proceed. I have never felt up-sell pressure, and I have always felt that appropriate options were given to me. I have had someone here literally take my car out for a drive, and reassure me that the sound we were hearing was not a problem, and that I didn't need to spend any money. I should add that the environment I see here is what I see at any successful business- the same people every time I come to get my car fixed. This must be some sort of employee owned operation. Finally, I absolutely love the waiting room. I'm using their fast and reliable high-speed wireless right now. If I didn't bring my computer, I could use one of theirs. You can get real individual cup brewed coffee. There's quiet tasteful classical playing in the background. Well- I have to wrap up this review. These guys work really fast if you schedule, and I'm pretty sure that he's going to have the car done for me in a few minutes. Note- I see only Japanese cars here. I'm not sure that they do anything else.

They are nice people. The do good work. The overall experience was excellent. They were responsive and professional.

Looks like a great place if you happen to have only Japanese cars. My wife's car is Japanese but I don't think I'll be using two different places for our maintenance.

I will be going to them on Tuesday. They are my regular mechanics and I keep going back to them. They are convenient. Their staff is extremely friendly and they have a very nice facility. It is the nicest waiting room that I have ever seen at a mechanic shop. I have always found them to be affordable but I don't remember the exact price. I would absolutely go back to them in the future.

Easy to make an appointment. when I arrived there was no delay in getting the car checked out. Entire appointment took 20 minutes.

They are honest, thorough, and very pleasant to work with. They have always been able to squeeze me in. They have competent technicians who provide excellent service.

Wasp has done every kind of repair for me from inspections, transmission work, replacing mirrors I knocked off the car from carelessly backing out of the garage...They are busy, but always seem to make the effort to fit me in and complete work in a timely manner.

We take our Miata to WASP and we love them. Always honest, punctual and polite. (They have actually told us, "no, you don't need to repair those breaks" before.) I just wish we could take our PT Cruiser to them. Japanese imports ONLY.

Excellent - I'd recommend these guys for sure.

They are prompt and they don't try to squeeze you every time. They try to save you money if they can.

They are extremely knowledgeable and can do anything, to fix a problem. They explain things thoroughly and go above and beyond to not replace things, before they actually have to be replaced. The drawback is that, they are not up to date as all their works done are paper work. They render great customer service and never say, no. I like their services and will use the same in future.

It was wonderful. They are fantastic.

I've gone here for years and have never had a bad experience.
