I went to the store early on Saturday and made the request the to replace 4 tires. Later the manager came up to me and said that the tires in stock had some issues and he had to drive to the Raleigh store to get them. I really appreciated that. We had a trip to make later that afternoon and really wanted the tries to be replaced. Though the wait was longer. I am thankful for the manager to make that extra effort.

Went well. I've been using Sears for service on my car for years. They are always friendly, and affordable. They can get pretty buy on the weekends so It's nice that the mall and movie/IMAX theater is right there within walking distance (across a large parking lot). Sears auto often gives a sears coupon for the day and promises to call you when your work is done, so you can squeeze in a little shopping!

After purchasing a used vehicle from a private owner, I took it to the Seats Auto Center next to Southpoint Mall. I had the oil changed and got a quick tune-up. The mechanic Tim was very friendly, helpful, and informative. We discussed what I wanted to be done and left the vehicle with them while I walked over to the mall. When Tim came across a couple small issues, he called my cell phone and explained each one, answered all of my questions, and allowing me the time to call and discuss them with my husband before deciding what to do. Although it took longer than the original time estimate I was given, this was only due to the issues that came up with the inspection. Overall, we were very satisfied with the services provided, and especially with how friendly and helpful Tim was. I especially enjoyed how he interacted with my very talkative and inquisitive three-year-old daughter. My only complaint is that I can't get my state inspection done here, as I really enjoyed the wonderful service I received.

I took my car to them for a tire evaluation which required a road test. I gave them my keys and let them drive my car alone in good faith. I estimate the technician was gone 30 to 45 minutes. When I got into my car I thought I smelled cigarette smoke, but I dismissed it as hay fever symptoms due to all the tree pollen. I also noticed that the gas gauge read 1/8th less than when I pulled in to the service center. A few days later my wife says she smells cigarettes upon entering the car. I said that I thought I smelled cigarettes a couple of days ago as well. Well, I happened to walk around the rear of the car to open the rear door to let our 6 year old son out of the car as I noticed a cigarette butt laying on the rear panel. There were cigarette ashes burned into the panel and the leather headrest was burned by a cigarette. This was the source of the foul cigarette smell. The cigarette and the smell were not there prior to the Sears Auto Center visit. I believe the service tech is responsible. The first tip-off was the amount of time he was gone with our car. There was no reason for him to be gone that long. I know he will just deny any assertions, so whats the use in even trying. After leaving the service center I stopped into Target which is less than 1/4 mile from the Sears service center. Upon leaving Target my car would not start. I was not getting any of my instrument lights. I never had this problem before. I was just about to call AAA when I decided to try it one more time. It started. Once it was started I quickly selected the Battery Amperage Check and saw that the battery charge was low (13 volts). I think a preponderance of all these things indicate that they did not deal with me honorably. I am going to get a repair estimate and write a letter to their management.

Car was dropped off on a Sunday at the Crabtreemall location for a thermastat replacement. It took them 4 hours just to figure out where the thermastat was on my car. After they discovered it's location they still were not able to install it correctly. Nothing ever got fixed and the car was not in running condition by the time they got done. I had them tow to another service place I felt comfortable with. I would not trust this group to put air my tires. They seem to have no clue of what they are doing.

They were not pushy, and the waiting room was very small. They were a bit slow, but the service was great and the tires were super. I would recommend them to other people. I think they provide a nice service at a good price. The staff was pleasant as well.

Sears Auto was fine for my tires. I went on a busy Saturday at 10 am. They said about 1.5 hours and it took a bit over 2 hours. I don't recommend waiting there if you can help it. My other complaint was that they automatically included the road hazard warranty on the tires ($24 total in this case), and I had to notice it and ask for it to be removed. Not good. I only knew to look for it because another sales rep had given me a different, lower price first by phone. Overall experience was fine though.

THE COMPANY WAS EFFICIENT AND PROMPT. THE QUESTIONS I HAD WERE ANSWERED. THEY DID A GOOD JOB. THEY USED GOOD MATERIALS. THEY DID WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THEIR PRICE WAS GOOD.

I'VE DEALT WITH THIS PLACE FOR A FEW YEARS NOW, AND I REALLY FEEL THAT IT'S A GREAT PLACE TO GO TO. I FEEL THAT THEY ARE HONEST, GIVE GOOD SERVICE, AND HAVE REASONABLE PRICES.
