Jose and his assistant were on time, on the ball, and did great work. Left no debris, was respectful to the job site. Good communication - he will text and email or phone. Good english skills. He provided a quote by email.

For years the mortar had been cracking. We had had it fixed by others but it was looking like a mess with different colors all over. We had Jose come out and give us a bid. He charged a very fair price for the job and did amazing work. Our front steps look like brand new. I highly recommend Jose for any brick work you need. He is outstanding!

Showed up right on time and went to work. Cleaned out everything then patched & repaired it. Gave the whole foundation a good going over & even found a few spots we had not seen. After they were done they cleaned up & it looks great. More important, no more leaks!

I couldn't be more pleased about my entire experience with Jose! I needed an old rock wall rebuilt/enhanced so I searched through Angie's List and found him in the stonemason section. Having been the contractor of my own house some years ago I have a good deal of experience in working with sub-contractors. Sadly, it seems that the world of construction is full of those who don't do what they say, are unreliable, and/or charge too much. Jose is a real shining star in his field and a great example of all that one could hope for in a stonemason. He was quick to provide what I consider a very fair estimate for the work. He was able to get to my job quickly and did a fine job. I highly recommend him!

Jose and his worker did a nice job. They were on time, finished the work promptly, cleaned it all up, and so far so good. The area is draining much better. The quality was great and the price was reasonable. I'd recommend Jose to anyone needing brickwork done.

Jose was friendly and responsive from the first contact on. Whatever he said he would do, he did it. Whenever he said he would do it, he did it. His knowledge, expertise, and craftsmanship are top-notch. He gave us exactly what we wanted and guided us on things that we wanted but that were not practical. The job ended up looking even more beautiful than we had anticipated. We have already recommended him to a realtor friend and would hire him again without reservation.

Jose did an excellent job with both tasks. The patio looks great ! He was able to regrade our sloped backyard enough to install the patio at the correct slope . He was originally going to use type S mortar for the repointing but switched to type N at my request as the house is older and type N is more similar than type S to the house's original mortar .

I am very pleased with the service I received and the work that was done. Jose responded quickly after my inquiry and was able to complete the job far ahead of the agreed schedule.

Jose did help me with stone choices and suggestions. He picked up all the stone from the stone company and cleaned up all debris. I definitely recommend him although he did not do the work himself. It was done by a man that worked for him. Jose did supervise him. They removed my porch railings and replaced them after I painted them. Great job. Well done.

Jose was punctual, polite, and professional! He did a great job with the chimney repair, and even fixed some cracked mortar around a window and on the front of the garage! We will definitely hire him again.

Jose did the most impeccable work. The mortar that was used back in the 1920s is impossible to match perfectly, as the materials have changed. Previous patch jobs have stood out as patch jobs. Jose instead took the time to match the color--and he also found a few bricks from the original garage (long gone, but a number of bricks remain) to replace the bricks that were no longer fitting correctly in the wall. His craftsmanship and attention to detail exceeded my greatest expectations. Also, he was so polite, kind and professional, and his quote, which he stuck to, was incredibly reasonable. I have been meaning to write this review for over a year now! I will use call him for any future masonry projects and would recommend him to anyone with a brick or stone house.

On time, good communication (some weather issues), hard working. Got it done before Halloween as we desired. New design needed to be developed based on discovering old brick had a couple of sizes. He described new design and it looks great. Clean up great.

Jose completed the job at his estimate. Work was expertly done, and looked very good from a esthetic point of view. I would use this contractor again, and will for a small brick wall in my driveway.

We selected Jose based on glowing reviews on Angies List. Our front stoop had to be replaced after foundation repairs to the front wall of the house. We had 3 different estimates and chose Jose based on price, and flexibility. His estimate gave us 3 different options for the walkway to the stoop from the driveway. Footings were poured that were locked into the existing wall. Bricks were selected to match the existing house and walls were built for porch. Concrete slab with brick border was put on top with brick stairs to it. His crew was very professional and project was completed on schedule. I would definitely use him again for any masonry projects in the future.

Jose was a day early, on time, did great worked and cleaned up. He is personable, professional and everything went as expected.

Responded promptly to Angie's list e-mail message inquiry. He arranged to stop by at my convenience to assess the task & provide an estimate, which was reasonably priced. He was professional, courteous, completed the work on time and did a nice job. I am happy with the finished work. I would use his skills again, should the need arise.

I hired Jose on behalf of real estate clients who were out of town for an extended period of time. He responded quickly to my detailed email inquiry. His bid was the best, when I considered expertise, experience, and the reliability of the quote. When I asked him to start sooner than he offered, he worked me into his schedule. When my clients needed to postpone, he was gracious in response. His work was top notch! The customers were very demanding (the work was done on a $1mm home), but they (and I, of course) were very pleased with the outcome.

Mr. Ledesma responded very quickly to a telephone request for a bid, and said he'd charge $400 for what he estimated would be about 6 to 7 hours of work. Between the estimate and the scheduled day, I carefully removed a pine skirt board that allowed him to complete the installation of new brick and cinder block up to the mud sill and rim joist--work which probably saved Mr. Ledesma almost an hour. He completed the job in just over 4 hours, though never reduced or offered to reduce the price. The materials were easily available locally and the bricks closely match the existing wall. His work was good.
