Jose was so polite, punctual, professional and skilled that I couldn't have been happier. Everyone of my neighbors has commented on the beauty and structural intergrity of the finished wall. Last Spring we contacted several stone masons we found on Angie'slist to give us quotes for removing an old sidewalk in front of our house and install a new brick paver walkway with a 10' x 10' sitting area. After receiving the quotes and speaking with four masons, we selected Jose to do the work based on the positive reviews he had received on Angie'slist. Jose quoted a very fair price and estimated it would take approximately two weeks to complete the work. Before starting the work, I asked Jose to be very careful and try not to tear our yard up while doing the work, he agreed. Jose was very responsive whenever I tried to contact him and he started the job precisely when he told us he was going to. During the course of the project, he and his helper did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves each day and they never damaged our yard. The project was finished in two weeks just as Jose had promised and for the price he had quoted. We were so impressed by the quality of his work, punctuality, responsiveness by phone and email, and fair pricing that we asked him to quote on building another walkway and multilevel patio in our backyard. We decided to start the patio and walkway project in January 2013 so that it would be completed in early Spring. Again, Jose started the project on the day he said he would and did most of the work by himself. He built the patio and then the walkway. During the construction of the patio and brick columns, Jose worked with me so that I could install landscape lighting and outdoor electrical receptacles within the columns. The patio and walkway turned out beautifully and we are extremely happy with the exceptional quality of Jose's work. We were also impressed with the level of communication we had with Jose, almost on a daily basis during the course of the project. We are planning to have Jose do more work for us in the future and would enthusiastically recommend him for stone and brick work. He did an excellent job! I will admit that I am very picky about hiring people to do work in or around my house and that I am also very critical about the quality of the work. Jose is one of the very few contractors who I would highly recommend to family, friends, and neighbors.

Quick response time to provide an estimate. Clearly explained the process he would use. Under promised and over provided. Work was outstanding and price was more than fair. HIGHLY recommend him and will refer him anytime someone needs a mason.

We called for an estimate and Jose came out a couple of days later, assessed the job and gave us an estimate. We told him that we were interested is hiring him and he set up a date to start that was a couple of weeks later. Before that date, Jose called and said that he'd had another job scheduled that was going to be delayed and asked if we wanted him to start our job the next day. We said yes and he and his associate came the next and started our wall. They started promptly every day, cleaned up at the end of the day, and were done in 4 days. They were professional, courteous and did a beautiful job.

Getting ready to sell our house. I had a home inspection done upfront so I would know what needed to be fixed before putting it on the market. One of the items identified were cracked/broken bricks around the foundation (not the foundation itself, but the decorative bricks on top). Had Jose come out and give an estimate. He showed up on time, took pictures of the bricks that needed to be replaced so he could match them, and scheduled the work for two weeks out. A day before my scheduled work he had a customer reschedule, so he moved me up, which was great. He removed the broken bricks and old mortar and replaced with the new ones. The color matching was perfect and the work just unbelievable. You can't even tell work was done in that area. It's amazing since this is a 21y/o house. Then he cleaned everything up like he had never been there. I asked for a receipt and he asked if he could email it to me, which was fine. The next day I had the receipt as promised. His work is incredible, his prices are very reasonable (others had quoted $100 and $125 and one even wanted me to supply the bricks), and he is very friendly and professional. I would not hesitate to have Jose do work for me in the future and will recommend him to anyone.

He was polite, prompt, efficient, and professional, and did a great job of matching the bricks and making the new bricks and mortar blend in with the old. We are already discussing additional work we'd like him to do.

We contacted Jose through Angie's List and he returned our call within a day. He came out to look at the job and sent us an estimate via email within the week. He was scheduled to come on one date but had to postpone due to weather. He called to reschedule. He and his crew came to the house and, because the job had to be done in several stages, spent a week demolishing and replacing the steps and walkway in front of our house. We are so pleased with the look and feel of the steps and walkway. Jose had to angle and slope the walkway away from the house- he did an amazing job. He was prompt and professional. We will certainly use his services again in the fall when we replace our driveway.

I called Jose to come for an estimate on repairing some stones that had fallen off our house. He returned my call in 2 hours! We set a time for him to come by and give an estimate a couple days later. He showed up on time, explained exactly what he was going to do and gave me a price. I called him the next day to set up a time for him to do the work. He came about a week later, showed up early and completed the job in a few hours. Looks great! He said if anything falls off again or happens with it, give him a call and he will fix it for free. What a pleasant experience we had with Jose. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to anyone!

Mr. Ledesma came and provided an estimate to perform the repairs described above. He was very flexible in his scheduling and arrived ready to work. He and his helper completed the work in a timely fashion, were very efficient, and demonstrated great teamwork. The work performed looks great and my expectations were exceeded. I will definitely contact him when I need work performed on our new home. I've already given his name and number to one of my co-workers!

He did the work professionally. He was neat, did the work as promised and I know longer have to spray weed killer between the bricks. Very polite.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE!!! Prompt callback after I left a message and prompt evaluation of the work requested. He offered excellent alternative solutions to which we agreed. He scheduled the work within a weeks of the estimate. The result was way beyond our expectations!!!

I contacted Jose based on comments from others on Angie's List. He responded promptly to my initial phone call and gave me an estimate within two days. He arrived on time and gave me options for the project. His estimate was reasonable and much better than some that I received The work started a day earlier than he projected (which was fine with me). Again, Jose arrived on time and was very courteous and polite. He finished the work on time and it looks fantastic! I couldn't be happier. Neighbors commented on how he worked and how good the steps look. He cleaned up everything well, taking the old steps to the dump and vacuuming the area when he finished. If I ever need any brick or masonry work done, I will absolutely call Mr. Ledesma.

What a professional, I'm absolutely, completely satisfied. Had Jose out in January to quote on repairing a number of cracks in the mortar around the outside of our brick house. He gave a fair price and said that he'd have to wait until the weather warmed up so that there were 4 or 5 nights in a row above freezing for the mortar to dry properly. Mid-March arrived and I noticed the forecast looked good so I started thinking I would need to call him to remind him. But he was right on top of it and called me first. The job took three days just as quoted, the repair looks great and he cleaned up everything perfectly. He clearly cares deeply about the quality of his work. Our house is old and there's some variation in the mortar, it's rougher some places and more smooth in others. Jose matched the mortar in the different places to that around it. Where it was rougher he put some more texture in. When he was doing the job, he noticed that my patio had a place where the pavers were sunken in a bit. I had been planning to repair that at some point but it wasn't really a priority. Jose repaired it at no charge, I think he takes so much pride in his work that he just couldn't leave a job site with a problem unfixed. I will definitely call Jose the next time need masonry work.

Jose was terrific -- courteous, punctual, very professional, and a fine craftsman. He knows his stuff, and I'd highly recommend him. He gave me a free estimate and never veered from that. We'd scheduled the work to be done, but it ended up raining so we had to postpone it. He was in touch with me as soon as it was clear the weather wasn't going to cooperate and also contacted me the night before the rescheduled date to confirm. The results were fantastic. He also cleaned up after himself and left everything in fine order.

I am very happy with the service that Jose has provided. He has been consistently professional. I am impressed with the trouble that Jose took to get a great brick match. He also worked very thoroughly and efficiently, and with a very cheerful and friendly manner. I really like that he has excellent attention to detail, and takes an evident pride in his work. In fact, he is coming back next weekend to power-wash the repaired area, as he was concerned that some of the brick dust might otherwise discolor the new mortar. He will do this all within his original quoted price. Highly recommended.

Jose arrived on time and was very friendly. It took a while after he came in for an estimate to get the job done as he had some trouble finding stone that matched the surrounding area. Once suitable stone was found, the job was completed quickly. Jose was particularly good at doing the job cleanly; he did not let any stone dust get around my apartment. The quality of the job is fine. It is easy to see the seam between the old and new stone, but this was expected. Jose offered to truly fill any space between the stones (for a little extra), but we agreed it was not necessary given the seam's location.

jose was one of many masons we interviewed. He was the first to respond to our inquiry, the first to view the house, the first to submit a quote, and submitted the lowest quote we received. He helped us pick out the right brick to match the discontinued style used to build our house. He started the work when he said he would, and worked on Saturdays to finish up on time. We are very pleased with the results.

He did a really good job and he was a really nice person. He gave me an estimate and start date which he stuck to. He was very respectful throughout the job.

Called Jose on a Thursday, he returned call promptly. Met him next day for an estimate. Hired him and he did the work the next day. He showed up when he said he would, did a good neat job, and left no mess. Overall a positive experience on a small job.

I called Jose and he came over and gave me an estimate. I did not get any other estimates, because I trusted him and the other Angie's list reviews. Jose did a spectacular job and I could not have been more pleased. He is truly skilled and honest.

Once we agreed on the project, Mr. Ledesma put me on his schedule about a month ahead. He came several days early to do the power washing of the concrete base. He called me before the date to let me know they would arrive on the specified date. The slate was delivered and the job started then next day. The crew was very professional and they worked very slowly and carefully to make sure each stone was set properly in the mortar. I use the term "slowly" as a positive statement. Some of the stones were thicker than others and they took great care to make sure they were all at the same level as they set in the mortar. They also took care to make sure the walkway was sloped slightly to drain water. They came back on the last day to grout the slate and then repaired the existing front stairs. They finished the job in three days. They cleaned up the extra sand and any mess resulting from mixing the mortar. All in all they did a terrific job. I would certainly recommend Mr. Ledesma to a friend and I plan to use him for other masonry work.

Jose and his colleague were great. From start to finish. Provided estimate in a timely manner from my drawing. Helped to determine the best way forward. Gave me quote and started and finished on time. I would highly recommend him.
