Rooter Express review It is never any fun being taken advantage of. In the time of my family, Rooter Express did exactly that.  I am going to take a minute to write this review so you can avoid this company and not be taken advantage of like we were. On Tuesday afternoon, our kitchen sink was stopped up and our toilet would not flush. Since we are disabled, we needed the facilities and chose Rooter Express because they could come the fastest. They also quoted a reasonable price of $450 for septic draining service. Since my family is on a fixed income as we are retired, we were able to afford this charge. Upon arrival, the price increased to $2950. Then, thirty minutes later, the price increased again, reaching almost $4,000. At this point, they had already taken apart our system and basically held us hostage with open sewage from the septic system, leaving us no choice but to either pay them or live with sewage until a reputable plumber came to fix the problem for real. To be honest, we do not know if the problems they were discovering were real or just made up to pad their profits. They claimed to have replaced 20 feet of outlet pipe. The next day, we had another company come, and they discovered that Rooter Express had illegally discarded the broken outlet pipe in our back yard, and it was only five feet long. Regardless, Rooter Express still charged us parts and labor for twenty feet. This was the first concrete evidence that Rooter Express was taking advantage of us. After this evidence, we asked two other septic companies to review the work and to ensure that the untrustworthy Rooter Express did not leave behind an expensive and hazardous mess. These two companies offered the following prices for what they would have charged: $1375 and $1700. Obviously, Rooter Express was not being reasonable with a price that was almost triple the cost of honest and competent septic companies. I was even told they could replace my entire septic system with all new lines for the same price as Rooter Express charged. One of the companies that made the reasonable bid was so mad that Rooter Express took advantage of us that he called Rooter Express and told them that it was his opinion that the work they listed could not be completed in the two hours they worked. Additionally, the local Concord, NC address listed for this company is an abandoned truck lot (we checked). So I'm not sure who would want to do business with a company that charges three times the going rate, exaggerates the work they do, and preys on elderly and disabled families while concealing their true address. I regret trusting Rooter Express. I wish we had never met this terrible company.

Came out same day. They were finishing another job when I requested quotes the Angi. They called shortly after hitting the quote button and came straight to us and quoted our project, which included some repair work. They apparently stay fairly busy for when his crew started our project, he left to quote yet another project. But they knew what they were doing and we were satisfied with their work.

We called late in the day & was placed on schedule for the next day. It has been over 40 years since our system was opened, but they found the tank quickly upon opening you could tell it needed more than just pumping they Pumped the tank, removed solids, pumped the drain field, replaced fittings between the tank & distribution box & treated the drain field they ended up doing more work than expected for the amount they charged. now we have a restored system even on such short notice. The Guys were very courteous and professional. They did the job excellently They did a great job for us and I highly recommend this company

We called on a Sunday & was placed on schedule for the next day after noon they called at 8 am & the crew was here 20 minutes later. The last time our system was opened was in 1976 but they found the tank within 20 minutes upon opening you could tell it needed more than just pumping they ended up doing more work than expected for the amount they charged. now we have a restored system even on such short notice. The Guys were very courteous and professional. They did the job excellently They did a great job for us and I highly recommend this company

High Praise!! My husband and I noticed a foul smell outside so my husband checked lid of tank and it was full. We are first time homeowners and been here 4 years and had no idea what this meant. People directed us to think we just needed it pumped out. We found this company on Google and they were able to come same day which was wonderful news since we are family of 5 and need to be able to flush!! When the owner Michael arrived he found that our pump was broke but assured us he would try everything he could to find the most affordable fix. Him and his crew Matt and David came out 9am the next morning and got to work. They were very informative being sure we visually saw and understood everything they saw and needed to do. Then the owner Michael came very pleased to inform me he was able to fix our pump! That means literally thousands of dollars saved. He could have cheated us but he was very honest and determined to help. While they were working, my two children 3 and 1, were waving and banging on window and the workers were very nice cutting up being nice to them bringing them so much joy which is priceless. Could not say enough what a blessing and answered prayer it was to have this company available super fast AND able to take the time to try to fix rather than just looking to make maximum money they could off of us. **Even better note that speaks volume, our lid did not have locks on it. The owner Michael, was concerned saying he will bolt it down due to us having small children and it being VERY dangerous to fall into. Again, showing the true desire to help. Most wouldn't have considered my kids and the lack of safety having that unlocked.** Again HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!
