Appalachian Air Ducts

We hired Appalachian Air Ducts recently to clean our air ducts on our new home. Kevin was very friendly, showed up on time, and did a great job for a good price. What more can you ask for? This is how small businesses should be run. Highly recommended! Thank you, Kevin!

I have a long and twisty dryer vent in our crawl space. I have always had a difficult time cleaning it myself and decided to use a pro with proper equipment. Glad I did. Kevin was done in 35 minutes. He was on time, checked his work, cleaned up after himself and did the work right the first time. He was also not the most expensive. Recommended.

Kevin did an excellent job in cleaning our air ducts. He can out quoted a price which seemed fair. He showed up on time on the day scheduled for the work and got it done in a timely manner. He was very professional and I highly recommend him.

Kevin showed up on time and cleaned all air ducts and the dryer vent in our home. The entire process went very smoothly and the ducts look like new. It was a hassle free experience from the quote to the cleanup from the work. We plan to have some additional work done in our crawl space and got an additional quote on that work as well. Kevin is very professional and respectful. I plan to hire him again in the future.

We have so much less dust and fewer allergy issues since having our air ducts cleaned! As an added bonus we were provided with a free dryer vent cleaning and a huge lint ball that could have easily started a fire was found and removed. I’m so thankful for the services provided!!

EXCELLENT! Sent a message via Angie's List to AAD and received an almost immediate replay from owner, Kevin. Explained above and HE asked if he could come out the next morning! Arrived promptly, checked airflow and agreed something was amiss. Normally, AAD only guaranteed their dryer exhaust cleaning for 4 months, however, no charge was requested. Kevin found and showed me that the vertical air flow pipe from dryer to roof was detached from roof vent, and air was being issued to attic. Kevin re-secured the pipe to the roof vent and all was well. Kevin also asked if HE could re-clean the vent pipe with his mobile super vacuum, which he did. The pipe was clean as minimal lint found. It was outstanding display of customer service and I recommend him highly because of his concern for the customer.

Kevin Trivette with Appalachian Air Ducts was professional and efficient - He scheduled a Saturday appointment on short notice out of consideration for my work schedule - Kevin Trivette with Appalachian Air Ducts arrived on time, was conscientious, and charged a reasonable, competitive rate - I was very thankful to find Appalachian Air Ducts due to a previous very unpleasant experience with Dryer Vent Wizard (I would definitely Not recommend Dryer Vent Wizard due to unprofessional behavior, and price gouging). I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND APPALACHIAN AIR DUCTS!! Kevin Trivette with Appalachian Air Ducts also went out of his way to make a trip to Lowe's to get a new coil to connect from the dryer to the wall.

It went really well. David was punctual, professional and proficient. He explained what he would do before the service and the conditions he found. He was also very sympathetic when he had to show me the mold and mildew growth under the house. Thanks David.

The quality of service was excellent. I was disappointed to learn that the work required would cost more than the advertised special price due to the extensive nature of my duct work and other factors. However, after going over the required work with the technician I decided to have the work done. I would recommend this vendor explain better the type of services to which the special applies.

They did NOT sanitize and then charged me excessively. When they came, they said they would charge more even when I confirmed the price. They were not clear and then tried to charge me $425 extra.

Very helpful to speak with, and seemed to get the job done. Recommended to get a mildew spray treatment for an additional $150, since there was mold in the ducts, and i did that.

The gentleman who came was very professional and pleasant. He seemed very conscientious. My only complaint was the extras. What I thought I purchased did not cover everything. The ad should have been clearer or more obvious. Therefore to get the work done it cost more than 50% more than what the ad was. I was not expecting that. Be aware and read the ad carefully for ad ons.

Second time I have used them and went above and beyond to make sure ducts were well cleaned.
