Description of Work: Southern Comfort had performed work for us previously, including an expensive repair to what I now know was an "old" AC system. The expensive repair was done at their recomendation in 2012 and amounted to just under the cost of a brand new AC system. Two years later the repair failed and they said the unit needed to be replaced. When I brought up the fact that two years earlier we spent $3,000 that would now be stranded, the response was basically "that's the AC business". We had two other vendors quote the replacement of the AC system, both said the previous repair should not have been done and the system replaced back in 2012. Southern Comfort was difficult to get out to quote the new system and nonresponsive to a question with regards to their bid. Needless to say we didn't choose them to do the new work, and will not be calling them again.
