NOT A GEEK

He replied right away. We set an appointment for today. He was running a bit late but called to advise me. As I am new to Charlotte, I am leery to allow someone on my computer, but Mike seems like a straight up guy. He also recommended a good pizza joint in town.

There were no problems. Mike provided explanations and additional suggestions along the way.

He came the day and hour agreed and made the appointment to pick up my computer to do the job.IT WAS READY AND DELIVER BY HIM THE FOLLOWING MORNING.

Mr. Grabowski (Not a Greek) provided services in my home. My computer was not working properly. It would not display tables , charts or other information of a tecnical nature.. It also would not print such information. In a professional manner he was able to correct the situations involved. If I ever need he[p again with my computer , I will call on him. RT

The entire process went quite well. Mike was able to detect problems right away and knew how to remedy them. i could not be more pleased with his services.

Everything went great. Mike was very responsive and patient. I?m not computer literate and would have believed anything, so I?m really happy to have someone like Mike to give me good advice.

Not a Geek is an owner operated computer service business. The level of service and attention to detail was greater than other similar employee staffed computer service companies used previously. A transfer of data from one to another computer was performed without incident and completed per the agreed timeframe. In addition the owner provided recommendations regarding the current best brand/model computer and provided the best retail source and price.

We have been thrilled with the speed and operating efficacy of the computers the technician repaired. We haven't had any more problems with viruses or malware. Our internet connections are much more reliable and we are able to run our business more effieciently. The tgechnician also followed up on a question we had asked and did not charge us for the additional contact.

It was excellent. The quality and work was excellent. He was out within a couple hours in my initial call.

We had used Mike before and had no reservations re calling him again. Our seven year old computer failed and he tried, but couldn't bring it back to life. He purchased a new ASUS computer for us, loaded our software, configured our e-mail, retrieved what he could from our old hard drive and set up everything for us on site. We are very pleased with the results and would not hesitate to call "The Geek" again.

He did a fantastic job - I am so pleased with everything. He responded immediately, set up up a time, came on time and did what he said he would do. Mike has the expertise and it shows. I recommend him highly.

I called Mike and he came over to take a look at it for me. He said he needed to take it back to his shop to work on it. I told Mike that, as I was looking for work at the time, I needed the computer fixed as soon as possible. I used it to search for jobs, send out resume and use email and had to other way of doing that at the time. Mike told me he'd have it ready for me the next day. He worked into the evening and brought it back to my house the next day. There was one other problem that didn't interfere with using the computer, but he came back to my house to get that fixed and made sure that everything was working properly before he left. What I appreciate so much about Mike was that he understood how dependent I was on the computer and took the extra effort to return it to me as soon as possible. While he was at my house he noticed another issue regarding lack of back up space, made a recommendation and took care of that for me as well. I felt that after having Mike there I learned more about computers than I knew before. He was very willing to share his knowledge. I also recommended Mike to a friend. Mike looked at my friend's computer and realized that the best thing to do was replace it instead of repairing it. Mike made the recommendation to replace it and helped my friend to determine what he needed. Mike has integrity and strong sense of customer service. I recommend him highly.

We had been having random, frustrating wireless issues in our new home ever since we moved in. Mike correctly diagnosed a faulty router (ancient!) and replaced it with one he had brought with him that he knew to be reliable. He checked the signal strength all throughout our house, and made sure ALL the wireless devices in the house were working correctly again. He was knowledgeable, professional, and patient with our questions. He was a pleasure to work with and we will definitely call him again if other issues arise.

They found the problem and everything works great. They are always prompt and call back. He will try to help you over the phone if he can to save you money. If he does comes out he fixes it and makes sure its fixed before he leaves.

When I described the problem, Mike knew exactly what I was talking about because he had seen it before and was familiar with the symptoms. This immediately put my mind at ease. I was under pressure to get my work done and really appreciated that he could see me that same day. I had used Mike before and he remembered who I was and how my computer was set up. I really appreciated the fast response and personal service.

Very responsive and informative, good prep direction before he arrived. He tried to reconfigure and improve the existing setup without having to start over (our preference). And while he managed to extend the signal and tried to optimize the existing setup, unfortunately, our network/ wireless hookup is somewhat convoluted, silohed (for a number of reasons) and split between 2 stories. Plus the cable company that installed our modem and router made a mess of our initial setup. So other than starting over or switching providers not sure anything will fix our current setup. Despite best efforts we continue to have signal strength and dropped signal issues.

I have used Mike for several years and have found him to be very professional and dependable. I would definitely recommend him.

It went well and I even got an iPad from him and I enjoy using it. I just like his manner and work. He's honest and tells it like it is. If you are looking for a computer he will advise you as to what HE would purchase if he used it for what you plan on using it for.

I got a new Win7 Desktop -monitor bundle and called Mike to do the install and transfer my programs and files from my old MCE XP machine. He arrived precisely on time and spent several hours working on this project. There was a problem with the Norton trial version pre-installed and the new version I had purchased but Mike resolved it for me. He also cleared some issues I had been having on my XP laptop! He was patient and able to explain whet he was doing in non computerese which I appreciated. He was prompt patient and easy to deal with, which had not been my prior experience with computer service people!

I've been using Mike as my go to IT guy for about a year and a half. He is always punctual, and available when you need him.In order to save time and billing hours, he took my external hard drive home to set up my laptop. He picked up my mouse and router and returned the next day to set things up. Mike always does whatever he can to make it as easy as possible for me. I am always satisfied with Mike's work. If I run into a problem, I can call or email him and we can usually work through the problem without him coming to my home, and he does this free of charge. He has also done some work for me remotely. I can highly recommend Mike for anyone who has computer needs or issues.

Came on the same day that I called. Helped get a couple of computers up and running that had been left when our three kids left for college. Came again a few days later when I had a different problem. Very professional

I wouldn't hesitate to use him again and will suggest him to anyone I know needing computer assistance.
