The old router was not working, so he replaced it with a new one. He was very professional, trust worthy and friendly. He was on time and did a very good job.

Fantastic! I searched Angie's List for someone to help us when we lost all internet access. Mike answered the phone when I first called and made plans to come by first thing in the morning. He arrive 10 minutes early, immediately diagnosed and fixed problem, then was willing to stay to do several things I'd put off but were needed on the computer. He is a gem! Thank you, Angie's List! I'd not have wanted to find someone in the yellow pages.

Mike was very helpful in reviewing (via phone) my system setup and recommended changing some settings (and walked me through what I needed to do) to insure internet explorer updates were received as they became available. He also cautioned me to update my virus protection (which I had let lapsed). We discussed various options with a new printer so I now feel much more comfortable in purchasing one. I will definitely call on him again when I need PC assistance. He was most helpful, patient and professional.

Mike came to my home and determined that the hard drive was indeed mechanically broken. He did not have the facilities to open the drive and recover the data. He gave me an estimate of what a service like that would cost and he was right on the money. After I acquired a new internal drive, he picked up my system and installed the new component, determined that it did indeed function and returned the system to me in about 24 hours. He offered to be available by phone, at no cost to me, if I had issues while transferring the recovered data onto the internal drive.

Mike is very good to work with. He really knows what he's doing. He is also researching other computer options for me.

Mike is great to work with. He replaced the hard drive at my location while I continued to work on other projects for my clients. He first backed up all the contents of my laptop's drive on an external drive, then removed the original hard drive, and replaced it with the new one. Even tho it took longer for him to transfer the data he did not charge me any more than he estimated. He is very knowledgeable and does a good job. I had explained my problem to him on the phone so he came with the right equipment to do the job. His prices are fair.

The guy that came out was very nice, knowledgeable, easy to get a hold of, so he could come out and take a look at the problem I was having. He helped me deal with my computer manufacturer when I had a defective monitor and was very helpful in getting that resolved quickly.

Mike was awesome. I called him late on a Sunday afternoon seeking help with a bad virus that was making my older laptop go berserk. I also asked him if he could give me a consult on what I should look for in a new laptop which I was planning to buy. He told me he could come by at noon the next day. He was punctual. He studied the virus and felt there was a 50% chance he could restore my current laptop. He did some things that indicated the hard drive was still in tact so that my files would be preserved. I asked him to help me with the specs on a new laptop. He told me he could buy it for me if I wanted. I jumped at that. He steered me away from the more expensive business based Dells which I had been using and liked. He took both my old laptop and non-functioning wireless router home with him. He called me at 9:30 on Tuesday morning to tell me that my new laptop was ready to go. He said the old router was bad and he had gotten me a new one, which I had given him permission to do. He was back at my house at noon on Tuesday to walk me through the new laptop, Vista, etc. We had a DSL problem, and he spent approximately 30 minutes on the phone with phone company tech support to solve the problem. He linked my Bell South webmail into Outlook and showed me a bunch of other stuff. He told me to call him if I had any questions or problems and not to worry because he didn't charge for phone calls. I was prepared to spend $1200 or so on a new laptop. He got me a great Toshiba for half of that. I didn't know how much he would charge, and felt I got exceptional service for a really great price. I would absolutely recommend Mike to anyone.

My Microsoft Outlook would not open and kept giving me an error with Business Contact Manager. I called and he told me how to resolve it over the phone without charging me for a trip. It worked and I would call him again for any other problems.

Everything went smoothly. Mike knew exactly what he was doing and wasted no time getting it done. I always found iTunes to be very confusing, but he whizzed right through it an showed me things it could do that I never knew were possible. I was a little concerned about printing from the new computer, but Mike set it up so I never have to touch a wire.

What made him good is that he was available and he came to the house. What was bad was that he was slow and didn't get all the problems resolved.

After visiting an electronics store earlier in the day and told it would take 7-10 days to check my computer (I already knew what was wrong), I came home and checked Angies list. I found Not A Geek Computer repair, called Mike and he was out within an hour and had my computer repaired and running within another hour. Great guy, prompt, courteous, and most importantly repaired my computer for a fair price.

We had experienced significant computer problems for approx. 24 hours. Called Mike on Sunday. He arranged to come to our home early Monday to diagnose the problem. He arrived on time (after calling to make sure we were there). After about 30 min. he said he would have to take the computer with him to try and clean up the many problems he found. He called around 7:00 pm to say he had corrected the errors without having to rebuild the hard drive and said he could return the computer around 9:00 pm. He came at 8:30 and hooked up the computer. He had removed our ineffective security software and installed a free, but very good, security program. We tried all of our usual computer/internet/e-mail functions and they worked as before. This is being written three days later and we have experienced no problems at all. Mike performed an exceptional service for us, in a very timely manner, and for a very reasonable price.

I called Mike based on the excellent reviews in Angie's List and he came over to my daughter's house 2 hours later. After he had eliminated multiple possibilities, we knew we were looking at a possible restore. The next step was to back up everything and of course we could do that ourselves, as he pointed out, and not pay him to do it, which I appreciated. End of story, the computer is now working fine, and Mike was very friendly, professional and offered to help us over the phone during the recovery period if need be. I would definitely recommend him.

My wife called Mike early in the afternoon and he arrived approximately two hours after her phone call. He conducted a review of all of the software loaded on our computer and determined the main problem. Mike explained the root cause of our issues and offered a few alternatives. While Mike could have fixed the problem for a short period and charged us more, he recommended we get a new laptop as the problems with our current laptop would never truly be remedied. Mike gave us his number to call him when we decided to buy a new laptop. The following day, Mike was available to give us advice on buying a new laptop. Just a great experience. Very helpful, fair, and honest.

Got more than my money's worth. No doubt I will use his services in the future should the need arise and will ceretainly recommend him to my friends.
