Natural Home Lite

Quality product, punctual, fast service couldn't have been better.

Natural Homelite was very professional and quick to respond when we had a golf ball go through a skylight. The process was explained clearly and our options were easy to understand. When it was time to get the work done, the technician was very polite, made sure to cover the inside of the home, and cleaned up afterward. There was some damage to the inside trim that wasn't taken care of and I didn't notice it until later, but it is minor and I can repair it myself.

Installation was done exceptionally well, and the products more than meet our expectations. We need to add light to a dark room, and reduce heat from existing skylights that effect our great room. These have shades, but more significantly, are the high end UV protection, so we get light without heat.

Showed up at scheduled time and were respectful of our home and our time. Everything was covered and protected before project was installed and everything was cleaned up and left as it was when they showed up. Alex and Dennis were a great install team and represented Natural Home Lite in a extremely professional manner. Installation of two #suntunnels were on a 19' ceiling and we were pleasantly surprised with how much light filled our formerly cave-like great room. Couldn't be happier with our decision to have them installed and for choosing #NaturalHomeLite to do the work

We received an estimate and timeline. Decided to proceed. Very pleased with our skylights, especially having blinds that run on solar power. Four plus inches of rain the past few days and no leaks. Professional installation and internal finishing. Would highly recommend their services.

Alex O. was came and inspected the broken skylight and took measurements. He discussed with me that the break appeared to be caused by a strike of some kind but could not really understand what could have done since it has nothing (trees or other buildings) above or within 200 ft of it. He told me he would call me with an estimate and schedule a time for the repair. Everyone we encountered was polite, professional and on time. When the replacement glass arrived a call to establish the install was made and completed the next day. Would use these folks again.

Natural Home Lite did an excellent job. Alex Ostapovich came and measured my skylights. I had three old fiberglass dome skylights originally installed when the house was built in 1986. He said they could order triple pane Velux glass replacements that were energy efficient and would fit my existing skylights. That same visit Alex was able to give me a quote and estimated timeline once ordered. I sent in my deposit and with in the next week they contacted me to set up the install. Today Dennis called me thirty minutes before arriving to confirm the planned install. He arrived on time and within and hour and a half I had my new skylights in. Dennis even laid down plastic to protect any furnishing underneath. I am very pleased with the Natural Home Lite and the Velux skylights.

We were very pleased with our experience, from the initial consultation to the completion of the work. Natural Home Lite was very responsive and punctual, and were flexible when we had to delay the project for a week or two pending approval by the HOA. The installer was efficient and personable.

Smooth process of replacing the skylights.

Great! Met the owner of the business at a trade show earlier this year and he gave me a brochure. I explained that I wouldn't be doing the work until later in the year. In July I contacted them and they sent Alex out who is the Field Manager for the business for an estimate. He was very pleasant, informative and knowledgeable. He checked out my skylight and advised me of possible problems when it was taken out that couldn't be seen from the inside and assessed what needed to be done. He left me with an estimate and told me to call them when I was ready. After sending them a check for 30% of the total cost, by the beginning of August we had scheduled a date for work the work to be done. One of their installers showed up on time and on the correct day and began the work. He came with all the supplies he needed and with very little mess and clean up, installed a brand new skylight in place of the older one. There was no damage underneath that had to be dealt with (which was good) and he took the necessary precautions to make sure that the shingles on my roof were matched and reused the ones he had carefully removed prior to installation. The job was finished in about 5 hours with all debris cleaned up and removed. I paid them the balance due when they left. (They also take credit cards) I am extremely happy with the results and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to replace or install a skylight.

Installer arrived on time, covered surfaces to ensure a neat clean install. Took him about 2 hours to complete, leaving areas clean.

Denis called before arriving. He was a polite professional. Nice young man, who did a good job & cleaned up after himself. I am very pleased with my sun tunnel.

Alex responded to our email almost immediately. He was actually out of town working on a job when he called but said he would be by in a few days. He came by, went into the attic, took another picture of the split lumber from another angle and showed us that the pipe light could not possibly have caused any damage from the distance where it was located. But then, even though it was now obvious that Natural Home Lite was not even remotely responsible he got a couple pieces of wood and a drill and went back into the attic and sandwiched the split piece between the 2 good pieces to help alleviate our fears of possible roof damage. When asked what we owed him for this work he did which was NOT his company's responsibility he wouldn't even take any money. Now this is a company you can trust to do right by you. We were already so very pleased with our initial experience when the pipe lights were installed but this recent experience has restored our faith in some contractors totally. Great company to work with!

Awesome! I contacted Natural Home Lite and made an appointment for the following week. Alex came promptly at the appointment time. He looked at the room, went in the attic, checked the roof and explained to me the process and provided a quote. I accepted the quote and we scheduled an install for the following week. Denis, the installer arrived on-time and was great. Very professional and nice. Installation looks clean and there is LIGHT in the bathroom!!! LOVE IT!

Within a few days of contacting the company, they sent out a representative to assess our needs. After checking the room and a thorough search of the attic, he told us sky lights would not work where we wanted to put them, due to the roofline. We discussed another couple of places where we would like more light and he suggested VELUX solar tunnels for the main bath and kitchen. Their installer came 3 days later and within 4 hours, our sky tunnels were in. He put tarps down where he was working and there was no cleanup necessary on our part. We love them! Both rooms are so much brighter that we don't even need the lights on in those rooms during the day. They were totally honest about assessing our needs and didn't try to sell us something that wouldn't work for our house. They were quick and professional with the installation.

My family has some solar tubes in their house for years and every time I visit I comment on them. I decided to add one to our really dark bathroom and Natural Home Lite did a great job. I am so impressed how fast and the cleanup of the install. Excellent customer service, sales and install. Now our dark bathroom is no longer dark. I don't even need to turn on the light during the day. This made a huge different. I would recommend this product and company to anyone who needs a little more sunshine in your house.

Michael Townsend, the owner, came to give us an estimate of how much it would cost to install the solar tubes (sola tubes) in our house. We wanted two 14" tubes, but he said that would be too much. He explained why two 10" would be better. If we felt we needed more light, we could exchange them out later and we would only pay the difference in the price of the units themselves. He spent a lot of time with my husband patiently explaining what the process was, and where they would install the tubes. I was impressed because he also said that he was checking to see if the home was even suited for putting the tubes in where we requested. His workers arrived on time. It took longer than the time I was told it would take. It was all right because I had no other plans. But it did take about four hours to complete two tubes. Michael promised they would clean up completely after the installation, and he was correct. I didn't have to do a thing to clean up. The first day, we were concerned we'd made a mistake. There wasn't much light in the room. We knew the sun was on its way to setting, and we have quite the canopy of trees. The next day, however, I was astounded at the amount of light in the room. The room was like a cave before. Now I kept trying to turn off lights. Of course, we cannot control the sun, so the amount of light cannot be controlled. In the early morning and later evening, the tubes emit less light than during the day. Before we had them installed, we couldn't read anything in that room without a light. Now, during the day we never need a light. We are now saving our pennies to get two more in other dark rooms. I was so impressed with Michael Townsend's patience and honesty. We asked a few questions that could have made a normal salesman gush about results and so on. But Michael never did. I highly recommend Natural Home Lite for any installation, and sola tubes themselves.

Natural Home Lite arrived promptly at my home per scheduled time. Alex and his two helpers walked through and confirmed where the owner/salesman had recommended for the Solatubes along with showing me some other location options and getting my input. They laid down blankets/sheets on my floors as well as coming in without any shoes and got to work. They installed a total of four tubes some of which required long runs (more $$). They called me when they were finished and when I came home I was amazed at the amount of light that I now had in the previous 'dark' areas. All of the guys were most professional and personable. They left my home immaculate. I am so ecstatic with the product, the service and most of all the results that I will be having at least one more tube installed and possibly more since we have a large one story home where the interior rooms do not receive a lot of natural light.

It went ok. They were prompt. They left the work area reasonably clean. There were two workers who completed the job.

We had three providers to our home for quotes. We applied the Goldilocks theory: one was too high, one was too low--that one didn't have insurance--and Natural Home Lite was just right. We contacted them in January. They responded, set up an appointment and actually were able to come by a day early. About three hours from their arrival it was done, no problems, no sweat.

I delt with this company back 2008 and they did a wonderful job. It was a no brainer to use them again. Michael actually remembered me which was a good feeling. He came to my home to evaluate my situation and made several suggestions to try and accommodate my needs. We decided two of the larger Solar Tubes would be best and the exact location would be determined when the technician arrived to install. Michael as in the past was very professional and honest. The quality of the product is supreme and the installation by his technician was excellent. I highly recommend Natural Home Lite.
