Tried to tell me that I needed to spend over $4K on a new furnace on one that is working perfectly well.

Arrived on time and told me everything they were going to do. Install went without a hitch. Installer gave me a training lesson on the new touch-screen thermostat. VERY PROFESSIONAL!

they replaced the pilot light which was surprisingly expensive around $200. I then read about the problem on the internet later on about our problem and there was mentioned that the pilot light contrapment could be cleaned and not necessarily have to be replaced. Therefore I do not know if replacement was the right recommendation. The repairman than convinced us about their maintenance package for summer and winter and we ended up signing up for it paying monthly fee. They did perform the job in a timely manner and the service man was professional.

I like their timeliness as they are on time. They get out in a timely manner. My dislike is about them is, I think that they may be a little higher priced than the others.

I've had Morris Jenkins out for the past three summers to add coolant to my a/c system. This year I decided to have them to locate the leak using their most inexpensive method. Of course they did not locate the leak however the tech did offer the next highest price option to perform the search. I opted not to go that route and decided it was time to replace the 11 year old unit. I met with a Morris Jenkins sales rep to discuss my options and cost of a new unit. Within two weeks the technicians were at my home installing my air conditioner. The tech arrived within the time agreed upon and began working immediately. They finished up, showed me how to use the new thermostat and had the work inspected by 1 PM. The technicians were friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Morris Jenkins.

It all went well for the the estimate work performed

The salesperson thoroughly explained our purchase options and answered all questions to our satisfaction. Installation took place exactly as promised and to our complete satisfaction.

The saying is "time is money" - applies to my time as well. After the intitial call, I called three times to check on the arrival time of the technician. Never got an accurate estimate and, sure enough, he arrived later than the latest estimate. This was a evening so I know traffic could not have been that bad. With GPS, there is no excuse for not being able to provide a more accurate estimate of arrival times - my GPS receiver provides this. The price seemded steep to me. I understand I'm paying for the 24/7 availability, but, come on - how can a simple electrical contact cost this much? It only took the technician about 10 minutes to replace it. However, the technician was competent and professional. He did spend a lot of time looking at the entire system and providing overall guidance about the system - however, if this incurred extra cost, I was not made aware of that. I just needed the contact replaced - no more/no less.

I chose to hire them because of their advertising, and they were pretty good, but they were a little pricey. They were able to do the work on a Sunday; they have pretty long hours where they can come out, so they are convenient. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

They are very professional and always on time. They don’t try to up sale you on any of their services. He is very honest and helpful in the decision making process. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Not much to talk about. Fan on the outside unit stopped running. Called Morris Jenkins. They had a tech, Daniel, here in about two hours. He went right to the problem and replaced a capacitor. While he was here, he did the routine maintenance that was previously scheduled for next week. Glad it broke on a relatively cool day. Nice tech. Good company.

My AC starting having issues and I knew overall that this system was due for a replacement (as well as the heater). Brothers came out and at least got the existing system running quickly and then gave me a quote. The VP of Sales, David Smith, came out and walked me through everything and was very professional and likable. Unlike Brothers Air and Heat which apparently offered only one system (which i had them out to quote this as well) which would not fit into my existing space due to size limitations - Morris Jenkins appears to offer almost any brand desired. David walked me through each brand with the pros and cons of each. David mentioned that for the AC, they dip the evaporator coils in tin to help protect and prolong their life - this is something they do on top of anything the manufacturer would do. My particular system was installed and walled-in in such a way that it was a nightmare to get out and get something back in place. As mentioned earlier, Brothers Air and Heat refused to do the install. They said it would be major work to tear everything out and that very likely the new system not fit without major structural rework. David did agree it would be a tough install, but nothing they couldn't handle. He sent out Dave, their installation engineer, to spec out what needed to be done. Ultimately a pair of installers came out and it did take them over 14 hours of continuous work to get everything out and in. Everything works great. I like that Morris Jenkins did a lot of extra stuff that I do feel is important that I think other vendors would not have done. They added a complete aluminum pan underneath the entire AC/heater system to catch any moisture. They flushed out the old lines and pressure tested them. They added additional sensors to detect failures. They installed touch screen controls (and replaced the downstairs one for free to match it). They also serviced my downstairs system for free and a few other things that I think just made the whole experience very nice. I am quite sure this was not the cheapest I could have found, but I do feel that I won't need to worry about this system for a long time. It came with a bumper to bumper 5 year warranty (parts and labor) and a 10-year parts warranty. i am fairly certain that based on my experience, that no matter my concern or issue that MJ would be very responsive and pleasant. If you want really cheap, don't go MJ. I am ok with paying a little extra to get that little extra attention and support.

Would like to express my pleasure with Morris-Jenkins. The person (Bernard) whoassesed the job, and explained in detail what would be involved was very understanding, and patient when I wanted to think it over. When I decided that I wanted them provide and install a new air conditioning unit, hewas again pleasant and understanding when I kept postponing the installation, becauseI wanted to house to be in better condition when the men came to do the work. When a date was set for the installation, the technicians arrived on time, and theinstallation was completed within the estimated time frame. The techs were verypleasant, extremely professional, and technically proficient. I would recommend Morris-Jenkins to anyone who is in the market to have theirair conditioning system repaired or replaced. I would also like to thank the office personal for their pleasant and courteous service.Please note that I just received my electric bill for theFirst full month of using the air conditioner that Morris Jenkins sold to me and installed. My electric bill was about ½ of last years, the outside temperature has been in the 90’s to 100 degree range for almost all of the month, and I have had the thermostat set at 72 at night, and 76 during the daytime.

Prompt, Courteous, Respectful, and Clean service is what I got from Morris-Jenkins. I called on a Saturday when I found out the day before that our a/c was not working on the second floor of our house. First, the dispatcher, Alex, said that the next available appointment is the next day, which was a Sunday, which would have been fine because all the other nearby or more "local" companies were closed on weekends. While Alex was taking my information, he found out of a cancelation and a technician can come to my house the same day! Yippee. I was told between 3:00 to 5:00 PM and a 1/2 hour lead time will be given. After the lead time was announced, the tech was at my front door in fifteen minutes! Lewis, the technician took me through the process. I was upfront with him as I was upfront with Alex, the dispatcher, that I am only hoping for a repair because a new unit will be out of the question due to my financial situation. The a/c units are 20 years old! We moved into the house in 2006. Lewis, was gentle and respectful. He stopped and explained what he was doing and before going to the next phase which will cost more than the initial diagnostic fee of $89, he gave me estimates. The $89 is the same fee they charge for non-weekend calls..., in other words NO EXTRA CHARGE FOR WEEKENDS. Chemical cleaning for both units (not just the one that was not working) cost another $130. I took it because we never had it done since moving in and since I know I am on "borrowed" time with my a/c units. Total cost of the repair was $203. Money well spent on a 103 degree North Carolina summer weather. Lewis offered me a priority service program which I purchased due to the age of my units. The additional cost was $30 a month which includes two service calls per year for the a/c, gas heater, and the water heater. The $30 was only for 10 months because the 2 months were free for the one year service. I was VERY HAPPY overall of the results. Lewis is a nice, gentle, knowledgeable, and respectful service provider. I am looking forward to a long relationship with this company. They are very professional. I would not mind having any of their service people at my house. However, Brian is the service provider that has helped me and he's wonderful. There always on time, down to the minute. Morris is very courteous and are never pushy when it comes to their services. Morris is very trustworthy and honest.

They came to my house on a maintenance contract. They were very professional. They informed me what work needs to be done. They were pretty responsive. They call 20 minutes before they are here and they turn up on time. They have come to my house three times earlier. I have dealt with lot of air conditioning companies over the years, and they are the only one who could fix the problem.

They are our very favorite heating and air conditioning service company. We are on a maintenance contract and we pay them monthly. We are a priority customer and they do maintenance checks on our two systems twice a year for the fee that we pay. We know that when they come out we are going to get a quality person and quality service and we don't have to worry about our systems. They aren't the cheapest but they are the best value for our money. There might be a cheaper service, but you will get cheaper service. We don't think the ladies in the office have ever missed a ring when we have called them. They are definitely professional. We will absolutely continue to use them.

David, the technican, was very friendly, quick and thorough. He figured out that my unit was making the noise probably due to running all day long since it was not cooling as well as it should. So he turned it back on, it was working fine and I am looking to see if I want to replace or recharge it (is a 20 year old unit). The noise was likely a bearing going bad because the lubricant was breaking down from running all day. The whole time David was super friendly and did not try to sell me anything. He just explained the options and said to call the main office if I wanted anything else.

I noticed that my AC wasn't working well on the evening of 7/12/2011. I checked the unit outside and the fan wasn't running. I checked the breaker. It was tripped so I turned it off then on again. The fan still wouldn't work. I called Morris Jenkins because "You'll have cool air in your house tonight" was in my head. It was 9pm when I called. I really didn't expect to get a visit that night. I was informed that someone would be at my house between 9-12 the next day. Thinking it might be the fan motor, I went out and bought a fan motor and capacitor for the outside unit. The tech was at my house before 9:30. He checked the unit and told me what the problem was within minutes... a dual capacitor. He said he had one that he could replace it with and it was $300. After sweating all night the night before, it was a small price to pay for comfort and concidering I was expecting the worst. He was finished in less than 30 min. He suggested that I clean the coils on the outside unit which I did immediately. I told him that I didn't think the air was blowing very hard inside and asked if he could check the unit in the attic. He did and within a few minutes told me that the capacitor on the fan for that unit was working at about 40%-50%. I asked if it was difficult to change and he said no. The he said its probably the same capacitor that I bought with the fan that wasn't used. He checked and it was. He told me where it was located on the unit and I changed it. This was a perfect opportunity for him to squeeze some money out of me and he didn't. That is a wonderful quality in a company these days. The entire service call was less than 1.5 hours. After I cleaned the coils and replaced the capacitor in the unit in the attic (and with him replaceing the dual capacitor), the air is running great... better than before. I highly recomend Morris Jenkins.

It was outstanding! I was surprised with how professional and efficient they were! I would highly recommend them.

They gentleman who came out was very nice. He gave me a lot of information, but it tended to be skewed towards his company. I wasn’t real happy with the overall presentation which is why I went in a different direction. I would not consider them for another quote.

Overall, I thought this company was professional and very knowledgeable. The technician was efficient and informative about his work in terms I could understand. I am very pleased and would highly reccommend this company to my friends and family.

they did everything exactly by code. exactly as it was supposed to be. the system has a guarantee and we bought contract from them as well.

It was nice to see that the technician took the time to do the job right. I didn't get the impression that he was rushed by the company to get to the next job. I was impressed that while we were discussing an item he got a call on his phone from the office, he told them to stand by, he was with a customer. He finished his conversation with me, then got back with them. I felt like the technician provided REAL customer service.

It is a monthly service contract, which can be stopped at any time. The service technician came out and reviewed both orfour HVAC systems, as well as our gas water heater. I felt it was a high quality way to begin our relationship. I felt that the technician was extremely well qualified. I have only had 1 and a half experiences with them, but so far it has been positive.
