Horne Heating and Air Conditioning

We placed an emergency call and the operator contacted someone right away. The gentleman answering my call, Don, was kind and understanding. Craig called me the next morning and Mr. Wells arrived on time and performed his diagnostic quickly and professionally. He explained the problem and set about repairing it promptly. The unit is now working, yeah! Absolutely great customer service all the way around.

They were very professional and courteous. The serviceman even apologized for not being able to come out that day. I even came upstairs and put his card on my refrigerator and threw the card of my old company away. We were very pleased with the service.

VERY WELL. CAME ON ONE DAYS NOTICE AND FIXED NO HEAT PROBLEM.

They called ahead of time to let me know they should be at my home about 15- 5 minutes and they were. They cleaned everything out to make sure it was ready for winter and made sure everything was working fine.

The first time that I scheduled for the estimate they got the wrong day and it had to be rescheduled causing issues with the purchase of the home. On the day of the work there was a specific time for the appt scheduled and no one called to tell us that the tech was running about 60-90 minutes late (we waited) until we called to find out where the tech was. Once the tech (Ryan) arrived he did an incredibly great and thorough job. I will definitely ask for him in the future. I also used Horne for another estimate and again the tech was about 60-90 minutes late and we had to call to find out what was going on. Great work and service once they get there but there is definitely a communication problem in the office! I was told to expect a call from the General Manager in regard to the multiple punctuality times but never received it and am still waiting.

We thought we had a problem with the unit because we had a moisture problem. He was so nice. He inspected the system and said it was in working order. Don McAndrews was the technician and did a great job. He was so personable. He called before he came and was prompt. The service at the office was prompt as well. A very good company.

Melvin is a great guy, gave us a detailed estimate and was straightforward with the good news and the bad news. The peole who showed up to do the work were actually early (!) and knew their craft. Work completed on time.

I called them on Sunday morning for service. Had to call them back again before they responded to the page from the answering service. The on-call rep said he would try for that day. I had to call him back Sunday night and he stated they would get to it Monday. They called me Monday morning but still would not commit to Monday service, their statement was, "we'll get to it if we can but we have customers with service agreements and they come first."

We had a handyman that went under the house and found puddles in our crawlspace that he thought was coming from the AC vents. We called Horne, and they fit us into their schedule that day.

The crew had several trips out to complete the work. Initial contact with a representative was very positive. They responded to our special requests and provided a very competitive estimate. The crew were very polite and cleaned the work area after each visit.

The technician was very nice but young. The information he gave me regarding my a/c unit was worst case scenario and frightened me with cost. He also gave me mixed info. regarding air filters I should be using. All in all, he did what I asked, but I thought his company was very pricey.

I like Horne a lot. They are a good company, but they quoted me over $11k for a job I eventually got done for under $6k. I know Trane is good stuff, but not $11k worth!

This company is excellent! Returned my call right away (on a Sunday). They would have come out on Sunday, but the weather was cool and we told them Monday was fine. We will definitely call again to use their service!!!!

Called at 6:30 PM expecting to get voice mail and was surprised to reach a live person. They offered to come out that evening, but it would not be until late. I decided I could live with it, until the next day and they offered to call first thing in the morning. I was called at 8:02 AM the next morning to set up a time for install and called two more times throughout the day, to let me know that they didn't forget about me and again within an hour, of the tech being there. I told them I was home all day, so an exact time was not important to me. The technician that arrived was polite and described in detail what happened and suggested some maintenance tips for the unit. Very happy with the experience and will be calling them first, for any of my heating/cooling needs.

The work was scheduled and done very quickly. The workers were very courteous and did a good job cleaning up afterwards. The A/C is definitely working much better now.

Our contact gave extremely helpful information that helped us in our decision making. Very honest in giving their opinion and very helpful.

They did a good job, even though they had to return twice.

Our A/C broke down on a Friday night. I thought I would just have someone come out and repair it on Saturday morning. Ha! I had to call three different companies and Horne was the first to actually have a person answer the phone. A repairman came out an hour later. We ultimately decided to replace our 25 year old unit instead of paying for a repair only to probably prolong its life for a couple years. There was no hard-sell and they provided us all the information we needed. The new unit was installed less than 24 hours from when we decided to purchase the replacement.

They were polite and careful, and made some useful comments about the system. They could have sold us additional work, but explained why it was not needed yet.

The work was completed in a short time and at a reasonable price.

They did a good job. I thought the serviceman presented the options very clearly and made good recommendations.

Our old heat pump went out on a weekend. I called three different firms to get a quote to replace the heat pump. Adrian from Horne came out and looked at our system and gave us a very reasonable quote and gave us an additional option to install a return duct in the bonus room. He was very helpful in scheduling an installation time for us. The installation crew was was very knowledgeable and thorough in the job, and completed the installation in less time than was quoted. I would definitely use them again!!

Prompt, courteous and a good price. Made good recommendations for improvements to our system

Wes was on time and very polite. He saved my clients a lot of money by finding the home inspector had been incorrect and documenting his findings for me.

Adrian came to do an estimate. He was very professional and on time. He was great. The only reason we didn't go with them is because we got a less expensive estimate from another company.
