Horne Heating and Air Conditioning

I called Horne to come have a look and give me a quote. They were able to schedule an appointment the same day. The representative was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He did offer a ton of "up-sell" options, but didn't push it when I declined. They originally scheduled the work about a month out, but were able to actually do it a week earlier. The crew was even more professional, courteous and knowledgeable than the representative who originally estimated the job. They did a superb job. Update: The work was done in the summer. They replaced the old ducts with flexible, insulated ducts, and adjusted the baffles to distribute air evenly throughout the house. It's winter now and horribly cold. Inside my house is snug and warm -- even in rooms that previously were freezing when the weather was cold. Horne did an outstanding job.

Three weeks ago I had Horne Heating and A/C come out to perform a service tune/up for my two A/C units. The service technician was at my house for a little over 3 hours. He looked over both my units and made recommendations for replacing all of the capacitors (four at $150 each) and adding refrigerant in my lower unit (due to the unit being ?slightly? low). In total, the bill (including the service charge) would have been almost a thousand dollars to service two units which were not having any issues. I later researched the price of the capacitors and found they could be purchased for around $30 each. The replacement recommendations may have been valid but the pricing for replacement parts and the refrigerant was excessively high, in my opinion. I declined the recommendations and will not be contacting Horne for any maintenance related issue moving forward.

They did not show up on time and did not call. This was the management and office. they were to be at my house at 11 then they changed it when I called them to 2pm and they showed up at 5:30. The technician was fine once he got to my house.

I do not remember the exact cost, but the company was on time, called in advance to let me know where they were, and the technicians were very professional. The cost seemed appropriate for the work completed. I would use them again without any hesitation.

Very well. A supervisor arrived two days before to assure they would bring all the parts needed. On installation, the crew arrived on time and completed the installation when promised. All the areas were kept clean and all trash hauled away. It took only six days from the first problem call to get a diagnosis, a quote on a new system and to have the system installed. We are very happy!

They were punctual. They documented everything in a report that was provided to me. I would use them again in the future.

I called Horn to request service, unsure of what the exact problem was, and within 15 minutes of talking with someone I received a phone call that they would be at my home in 30 minutes. They were on time, friendly, and very knowledgeable. The issue was identified and corrected within 20 minutes. I was very pleased.

They did maintainence on my heating and air system. I didn't like the fact that they didn't have filters available. I do it every six months and the former company that I've used had the accesiblity for the filters so I didn't have to do it again.

Technician arrived on time and was professional.

Horne was very prompt after our call in getting a technician to our house. He called ahead and arrived on time. He was very courteous and took time to explain the problem and the options that we had. He wore booties inside the house to keep it clean. He was very informative and provide us materials to review for a new AC until before the evaluation and quote in two days. I was very happy with the response and technicians experience.

Went well, he was on time, evaluated the condition of my system in the attic and provide pictures.

It turned out pretty good. They were here when they were supposed to be. They were fine. I couldn't say anything bad about them. After they did the maintenance on one of the units, I had a potential little issue with the air conditioning and I wasn't sure if it was from the call from the maintenance or just the general air conditioning. So I didn't call them back. I got someone else to come out. I think it could have been something, I don't know. I didn't know who to call. Because if had called them, they would have said that's not your general maintenance. I just didn't know what to do. So I didn't call them back. I have a yearly maintenance that I pay for and that's who I called. So it wasn't that I didn't call them because I didn't like them. It's just that when I thought it was a real issue, I had to call somebody else. Overall, they were fine. There was a little question of if it was really something they could've picked up. I'm not going to point fingers because I don't know. I would call them again. I think it was fine. They seemed to be good. I would recommend them.

Everything went well with it. I don't even think I called them. I think they had seen where I had purchased it and they went ahead and called me and made an appointment like that week because I had some free time.

Installation went smoothly without any problems. The team was courteous, professional, and friendly. Everyone communicated what they were doing prior to doing it, and worked well together. They explained how to work the thermostat and cleaned everything up before they left. The air conditioner is running smoothly and keeps the house cool. We are very pleased with the purchase, the installation, and the company.

My service with Horne Heating and Air Conditioning went really well. It is running better and sounds better than it did before they came out. I wasn't there while he was doing the work but my neighbor said he was there for about an hour and a half. The response time was good. I would say they were excellent.

AC unit was not cooling the downstairs. Capacitor was replace and fluid checked. Everything back to normal.

AC units checked, cleaned no leaks found for 15 year old system, would have added freon but none needed.

They performed service as expected, did a good job, they have better technology and better prices.

Every thing went well, but they obviously limit the scope of work for Big Deal inspection. This conclusion was based on questions I asked tech about checking ducting for leaks. He replied that it was not included in Big Deal inspections.

So far, so good. Really liked their responsiveness and professionalism.

He took a good amount of time to check both units. Explained everything he was doing. Very professional was very pleased.

He had to add freeon so that was an extra $236.00.

The installation was seamless. The service technicians were superbly qualified, very professional, gave the utmost care in preparations and completing the job in a very timely manner.

Did a great job. Explained what he had done and what we may need in the near future, but did not try to "sell" me on anything. I would definitely use Horne in the future.

I haven't had the AC service yet.
