Horne Heating and Air Conditioning

Excellent. The Horne technician was very professional, and gave great attention to details in answering questions and explaining how our systems were doing.

The job went very well from the initial contact to estimate to installation. Horne Heating and A/C did a good job and met my expectations for a competitive price.

They were on time, and very knowledgeable. They told me I can get back with them if I needed the work done. When I am ready for the work to be done I will have them to do it.

They were awesome. I can't say enough about how pleased I was with their work and follow up after the installation. I worked with Michael Gaier, My system was a builder install and never properly heated or cooled my home. The upstairs and the front room downstairs were always too hot in both the winter and summer. And the master bedroom was always too cold. The air conditioner compressor broke and I had to make the choice to replace it or install a new system. Michael took a lot of time to explain the options that were available. He did not pressure me to make a decision on the spot which I greatly appreciated. I told him I wanted to think about it and would give him a call. I did some research myself and decided to go with a new system. I called Michael to let him know. It took a couple days to order the new system. It was going to be warm and I was worried about my dogs. Michael offered to have a portable air conditioner brought over to keep an area of my home cool for my dogs. That was an amazing kindness and great customer service. The installation of the new system went well. They explained everything and I was delighted with the new system. Having the home zoned with a separate thermostat upstairs made such a difference. And the zones meant that the first floor now heats and cools evenly. They also followed up by coming out to check that the system was working properly. I would work with Horne again in a second!

They tried to get me to replace the unit, which I was not prepared to do. Scheduling an appointment was relatively easy.

Technician inspected components in our gas furnace, all “ok”, except that he decided the gas pressure needed to be lowered from 3.5 to 3.2, adding another $50 to the total bill. This is the second time we’ve used the same company for the same job on the same heating system. Somewhat unclear on why the gas pressure output changed in the interim.

I called Horne Heating and Air Conditioning very early this morning because there was no heat in my downstairs. Their answering service answered the call and within 10 minutes I had a call from Horne which asked for details of my problem. They stated that they would have someone to my home today, probably later in the afternoon. I thought that was great responsiveness - same day. Awesome. Bobby called about an hour before he arrived, was polite (covers on the shoes and all that). He was able to diagnose the issue and provided a fix. He showed me everything he did and did not mind me watching him work. Within 45 minutes we were back in business. I would recommend Horne to anyone.

They came and did what they were supposed to do. I was very pleased with their services.

I didn't really bother with it. I wasn't impressed at all. I haven't done it and my system is still going. It was more like a money making thing. I was trying to ask something and he was going around what I was asking to just tell me that I need to install a whole new thing up there. I think he said he was going to write up a report that was going to come back to me and I haven't seen anything. I would not work with them again.

Went very well. We were impressed that one of the owners came out and did some "hands on" work in assuring that the system was up and running correctly. All work was done on time and very professionally.

Everything went well. In fact, we were really happy with them and their service. However, they have missed the last two scheduled appointments. Both times, the customer service was terrible. We were told that they had no idea why the appointment was missed. Very unprofessional.

We've used Horne in the past and they are always professional and get the job done well. They tuned up our furnace and helped us with purchasing filters for it. We were pleased with their service. Their office is easy to reach and they have very friendly staff. They are very accomadating with our schedule and it's not difficult to get an appointment with them. They come on time or call if they have a problem that has delayed them.

200 dollar for 20 minutes labor (1 furnace covered by Angie's list coupon for $69, 2nd furnace full price of $135). Almost would had been charged another 50 bucks per furnace for turning one screw to adjust some pressure.

The first surprise was that the heat pump was an additional $30 charge! The heat pump needed Freon and cleaning which was not covered by the system tune up. The service tech was very professional and gave me a detailed list of the issues with the unit.

It turned out fine. They do a very good job. I ended up buying a furnace system from them. They do a standard maintenance and they did a good job.

The service provider arrived on time and was very courteous. He inspected both furnaces and explained everything thoroughly.

Very good, made a number of suggestions which we will work on in future.

Very well - prompt, efficient and professional. Provide me suggestions on what needs to be done and what is optional. Not pushy and very pleasant.

They arrived on time every day, and worked hard all day long. They cleaned up every day before they left and even took away some stuff we needed removed from our basement. They explained how the system worked and saved us money by making new connections to our water heater instead of replacing a second one we wanted removed/replaced. I will use them in the future if needed and would highly recommend them for all heating and air conditioning needs.

They have always been really great. I have been using them ever since they started the company. The worst part of my experience with them is the continuing elevation of the prices and they cannot help that. Their price is competitive.
