Horne Heating and Air Conditioning

After 8 years of constant problems with our AC/Furnace, we were ready to replace both our systems. We got several quotes and found Horne to provide the most knowledgeable representatives with the best track record as well as the best price for the type of unit and quality instillation what we wanted. We could not be happier with our choice! CJ was our Comfort Consultant and both Richard and Nick led our Installation Team. Devin and John Horne also helped insure that the installation was successful. Every person I encountered including Dee who I only talked to on the phone and by email was extremely knowledgeable, dependable, and polite. CJ was in constant contact throughout the process and even checked in after the completion to make sure everything went well. Richard and Nick and the rest of the team were very respectful of the house, hard working, friendly, and did an excellent job! I would highly recommend Horne to anyone needing HVC installation and look forward to working with them in the future for maintenance.

Horne was referred to me by a friend. From the very first contact to the final installation, my experience was as good as it gets. It started with Sheri, Comfort Consultant, who quickly scheduled our first meeting and then patiently explained options and next steps. Dee, Instalation Coordinator followed up next morning about the schedule and introduced the Installation Team, Austin and Keith. They came promptly as scheduled and did a stellar job. Austin and Keith took care of my house as their own, were very polite and professional. Horne Heating has very high standards for workmanship and customer service and I was amazed of their professionalism and integrity. This is a company others could aspire to and have gained another customer for life.

Great! Staff was very professional. Larry came out for a free consultation and was by far the most knowledgeable out of the 3 companies that came by for an estimate. Install crew was top notch. I would highly recommend.

Total professionalism from initial phone call for quote, proposal scheduling and presentation, installation, to final inspection. Pricing was competitive, but the intangible benefits and professional credentials with this company are what made Horne my choice among other companies. The team is top notch - all commitments were kept, arrival times as promised, friendly and patient with a customer who had done hours of research and had million questions (me).

Very satisfied. Sheri was my contact for sale and coordination. She was very polite and helpful and also personable and respectful of my time and needs. I was especially happy with the fact that she treated me as the primary decision maker that I was and didn't insist to talk to my husband. I had several companies out for quotes who had been very rude about not wanting to talk to only the wife. Sheri provided me with a quote for what I requested and also took a thorough overview of the house and gave some suggestions for replacement and improvement at multiple cost levels. I felt like I had plenty of good options and was not being over sold or pressured. I did compare with other quotes and Horne was very comparable to other quotes for the same service and product. I was impressed with their low inspection failure rate and chose them based on their impeccable service history and integrity. I was not disappointed. The install went very smoothly. We did have to pay someone to remove some bushes that were in the way of access to the old units. The office staff set everything up at my convenience, including the inspection. Most of it was done over email, which was nice for me. The install itself went well, Austin was the lead installer and did a great job. It was completed right on time, and the house was virtually untouched- no damage or dirt to speak of. He explained how to work the thermostats and how to maintain the system. They have a great installation guarantee as well.

When we moved into our home we needed to maintain our unit. Seeing that Horne Heating/Air, had history with the existing units we kept them on. Time came to replace the old units and had many quotes from various companies and decided to continue to do business with Horne. We are so happy that we chose Horne to install a new HVAC system and duct work for our 1971 Cape Cod style home. Horne was the only contractor who suggested that we did not have to purchase two air conditioners and two heating units for dual zones, which saved us thousands of dollars. Instead, they installed a dampener system using our existing air returns and vents so we only had to purchase one new AC and one new heater (in addition to new ductwork). We had an outstanding experience with Sheri Bowers (and Dee), who answered ALL of our many questions and walked us through the process, schedule, and paperwork. We really felt that Sheri cared about our family, our home, and doing her job well. Many salespeople are fake and pushy and desperate to get your business, but Sheri was the opposite: confident, authentic, genuine, professional, and we were impressed by her knowledge of the products and processes. Because Horne had to push our install back a week due to the holidays, they sent out a technician at no charge to keep our old heating unit going through the Christmas and New Year holidays. They even gave us a free air scrubber due to the scheduling glitch. On January 3, Richard and his team were there bright and early and worked for three full days to get us all hooked up and running. They were professional, courteous, clean, and friendly. The team worked hard and took a very short lunch break on site each day. My yard and crawl space were cleaned up at the end of each work day (they knew we had dogs and a child), and Richard answered all of our questions throughout the process. He even stayed late (7:30pm) on the last install day to finish our project and make sure that everything was working properly. The electrician was wonderful as well as the gentlemen who got our thermostats programmed and running properly (their names escape me at the moment). This was by far the easiest and most stress-free experience in dealing with any type of contractor we've ever had as homeowners. We have never had an experience where such caring, consistent, and thorough people worked on our home (and we've had A LOT of contractor work done to our home in the last ten years). We are Horne customers for life, and we look forward to the benefits of our new maintenance agreement. I HIGHLY RECCOMMEND THEM AND WOULD USE THEM AGAIN..

Had scheduled for their soonest appointment, which was unfortunately a week and a half out. They were kind enough to lend us three portable AC units until our installation to get through the heat. They ended up having a cancellation and called to let us know they could do an earlier install date which we jumped on! Crew was professional and price was great considering a new HVAC system is expensive. A great 0% interest financing was available which was a no brainer. Couldn't be happier and am hoping to see some energy savings with our new, more energy efficient system.

It's an annual service contract, so they come out twice a year to service the unit. We're going to renew the agreement again in spring. My wife usually handles it. They usually call ahead of time and let us know that they're on their way. They usually come out and they do their took stuff and then they leave. I haven't been around too often when they come out. Then they send us an electronic version of anything that they recommend.

They were terrific. Very responsive and answered all of our questions. They gave us a great deal. It has been several months since the work has been performed and we have had no problems. We got our promised rebates with no issues.

Very well. The repairman diagnosed the problem quickly and got it fixed in less than an hour.

The responsiveness was unbelievable. I spoke with Sherri at 9:30AM and had a technician at my house by 2:00 that afternoon. The technician was very professional, explained everything to me as he investigated (and solved) the problem. The service call price was very reasonable.

We went with the Trane variable system, new duct work and two thermostats. It was installed just before Christmas being a very big job taking 3 days with a crew. Very happy with the installation process - they were professional as well. Sheri made sure everything went smoothly checking in on the process several times and making sure the dry wall that was disturbed due to the installation of a 2nd thermostat was fixed and painted (full wall) prior to Christmas. We are toasty warm now with all the vents working. We are getting an air scrubber from Horne as well.

Awesome repair work... they were able to repair the issue using a sealant instead of having to replace any parts (which was a much more expensive option).

It went extremely well. Jason and Corey arrived Monday morning with a plan to disassemble the old system and install the new in 2 - 3 days. They worked diligently with minor breaks and completed on schedule. They communicate throughout the project and keep us up to date on their progress and any issues that arose. They kept a clean and safe workspace and their work quality was excellent. Jason went out of his way to let us know how the installation was going and Jim Chandler checked in to keep an eye on it. The system was up and operational within 3 days just as the cold weather arrived and has been working well. We are comfortable and getting use to having a duel zoned system and programable thermostat. All in all, great job.

Service after the install of a heat pump was excellent. Tracked down a recurring problem and it has been solved now for over a year. I did like the fact that they emailed us with a reminder about fall servicing

If something is broken they tell you about, if something looks like it's going to break they tell you about it. They're not trying to always sell you stuff that you don't need, which I appreciate it.

It was a direct replacement for a furnace. There wasn't much to it. I didn't compare anybody. It was broke down and I needed something and they were able to deliver it. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't so outstanding.

It was just fine. They need to come this fall to service our furnace because it's the same unit. I haven't called to schedule yet. I will tell others that they did a satisfactory job.

We installed a water heater and it was supposed to work but it didn't. It turned out that there was an electrical problem. We didn't figure out what it was. All of a sudden, the thing had a little problem and then worked itself out, but they were very responsive. They came out well after hours. The owner came out to look at it personally. The electrical problem could have been the source of it and we had wished that that had been examined beforehand which maybe their technician left, but when we were in a tough spot, they were responsive.
