Description of Work: Replaced electrical board. I had service during the summer on my AC. It was leaking a bit. The serviceman suggested I try an liquid that seals leaks sometimes or replace the AC and furnace. I choose the liquid. The next day Horne Heating co. called to schedule a check-up of my system so they could tell me what I needed. I didn't request this. I felt I was being pushed to buy a new system. I was aggravated. My system is fine right now.

Description of Work: We had trouble with our AC unit over the weekend. It was trying to but not kicking on like it should. We called Horne since they had serviced the unit with the previous homeowners. | |A service technician came and reviewed the problem, replaced the capacitor, and we discussed a few options, and ended up adding some more freeon. The technician took care of the problem quickly, was very polite and we were very happy with the service. | |I rated a B for punctuality only because I wished we could get a better timing of when they might be coming by, instead of just between 8 and 5. Still very happy with them though.

Description of Work: Horne came out to give me an estimated cost to install a furnace. The previous owner of my house purchased it for me but it had not been installed. The Ruud system was brand new, in the box. It had not yet been opened. The duct work was fine and nothing else would need to be done. Horne quoted around $1400, to install this system. Needless to say, I found another installer for $600.00.
