Description of Work: Horne gave us good estimate on replacing our furnace and AC unit. Everything went as planned. The crew showed up when scheduled. The crew was very professional and did an excellent job on the install of both units. They said they would come back in the spring when the warmer weather arrived to check that the AC unit was working correctly and inspect the entire unit. They did just what they said they would do. They are a very professional company. I am very pleased and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: Replaced a fan in the AC unit. |They came on time, quoted price--quite high so we declined service at the time. Tried to fix ourselves but couldn't locate proper part. Recalled then and they did the work after waiting on part. The bill ended up being lower than the initial quote, I believe because we called and scheduled verses emergency call. Not completely sure why cost was lower. It still was very expensive to replace a fan. The part was only $40-$50.

Description of Work: This was a spring tune up for my air conditioner. They come twice a year as I purchase an annual contract. The filter was changed, the condenser coil was chemically cleaned, the system checked out and other services. David was professional, courteous and informative. Hornes has been providing my HVAC services for over 20 years. Unfortunately when I made my appointment they didn't tell me it was the morning of their weekly meeting so the service technician wouldn't come until over an hour late for the appointment. They should have told me the true time of my appointment.

Description of Work: Our upstairs unit was not cooling. They couldn't find the problem and what they did made one side of the house warmer. Had to get another company to come in. Horne does not know what they are doing! Would never use them again.

Horne Heating and Air Conditioning has not been to your home since June 2013 when we accurately and correctly diagnosed a leaking evaporator coil on your system, that you chose not to repair. At no time did we "do anything to make one side of your home warmer than the other". I truly hope the responsible party at Angie's List will remove this report as it is an unfair and unwarranted blemish on a proven Super Service Award winning profile and company history.
