Salesman CJ was the only negative part of our experience. He demonstrated Used Car Salesman tactics 101 even though we told him from the outset that we intended to buy our system from Horne. As in "We're all friends here right?" wink, wink. Service Tech Bill P. and installers Keith and Chris were excellent...courteous, friendly, very willing to answer our questions. We will use Horne again.

They are unbelievably professional, on time and provided great service. They were respectful and did an amazing thorough job. I never experienced an awesome, well-run business like them. I will highly recommend them and use them again.

My entire experience with Horne Heating and Air Conditioning has been exceptional. We needed a full HVAC replacement due to the age of the system and the fact that the AC was completely down (it was time to replace instead of fix). They were able to fit me into their schedule within 2 days of the initial call. Prior to the installation they assessed my home twice to ensure the sizing was correct. I appreciated their attention to detail. The install crew - Chris, Nick, and Richard arrived right on time and had the old system removed and the new up and running in just over 4 hours. They also stayed another 1.5 hours to monitor and ensure the AC was cooling properly and efficiently. My wife and I are extremely satisfied with all of the Horne team. I highly recommend.

We had two servicemen come out, Colby and Nick. They arrived on time, were courteous, and answered all of our questions. They did good work and were not in a rush to complete the job. They were willing to go the extra steps to make sure our needs and wants were satisfied. They made recommendations and provided options throughout the entire process. Both men acted in a professional manner.

Horne’s team was wonderful! Yesterday Horne Heating and Air Conditioning installed a new AC unit, furnace and air scrubber in my home. While it is never fun having contractors in your home, the Horne team was professional and respectful of my home and my time. When the job was done, Austin spent time explaining my new thermostat and made sure I felt comfortable with it before leaving for the day. I love my air scrubber!!! My kitchen exhaust does not vent outside, which made it unpleasant to cook. With my new air scrubber, all traces of my dinner last night were gone shortly after cooking! I look forward to cooking inside again!! Thanks Horne!!

The technician found two components that he recommended be replaced. He said they could last for a year or break tomorrow, so I opted to have them replaced. Thankfully he had the parts in his truck.

Installation was excellent with Austin and Keith. Very professional and knowledgeable. This is our third system with Horne Heating and Air and I would use them again.

Excellent, from start to finish. My wife and I retired in 2016 and purchased a home in Cornelius and moved in October of 2016. The HVAC systems were inspected by another company in late June 2016, recharged and minor repairs were made. In early May 2017 one of the units was failing as it did in June of 2016. The other company was called and the tech was more interested in convincing us into replacing the units, telling us none of the service performed in June was warranted. We called three other company's Horne Heating and Cooling representative Larry Hoekstra was the only one that explained other options like just replacing the AC portion of the one unit. Because of the age of both units and price quoted which was in line or better than others quoted we decided to replace both units completely. Within three working days two polite, courteous and friendly installers Richard and Nick showed up to start what was to be a two day project. These two young men started around 8am and worked meticulously without stopping until the entire job was done. Nick and Richard did an outstanding professional job removing, installing, cleaning up and explaining how the system works. Larry, Nick and Richard are the kind of employees I would want working for me. We highly recommend Horne Heating and Cooling. They are honest professionals that know their jobs

Simply put, outstanding from start to finish. They came out gave us a great analysis and laid out our options. No pressure and actually said they would give us a few options and pricing unlike the other companies we had over. Within 24 hours, we had prices and decided one one option. They came in the time they said and installed and cleaned everything up really nice and taught us how to use our new thermostat. Horne was not the cheapest, but close and I know it was well worth the little bit more $ for what we received and they even sent us cookies after the job was complete!!! Five Stars!

Austin and Keith arrived right at 8 am and installed the new Trane system. Everything went very well and the installers were courteous and professional. Have used Horne in the past for installation of a humidifier and also had the exact same service. This company is very customer oriented and always have a quick response. Today, Austin and Keith continued to demonstrate that this is a very good company and I will gladly recommend to all.

It was trying, but Horne was great. Some difficult troubleshooting was involved that involved calling in an electrician. I had used Horne before and did not hesitate calling them when the problem appeared on a Friday. The first person who came out was Jim who was excellent. He provided the estimate for the new system and also worked on the problem with the other system. A part was needed for the repair, but wasn't available until Monday. Jim stayed in touch over the weekend to check on us. Brian finished tracking down the electrical problems and installing the new parts. Brian was helpful and informative. Austin and Keith installed the complete new system for the upstairs of our house while the downstairs system was being repaired. They were fast and professional. Austin explained the features of the new system in great detail and we really enjoyed talking with him. Also, very helpful and friendly are the office staff members, Ivie, Sharon, and Dee. Horne HVAC has made this a very pleasant experience.

They found nothing wrong with it. This was the first time we've used them. Everything went well. Very easy to schedule and they were there when they said they would be. They were thorough and did a follow up on the write up since it was an issue with the HOA. I thought the price was reasonable. I would absolutely use them again.

Jim came to discuss our options. He was very knowledgeable. Answered all our questions. I never felt pressured to buy. Work was done by Richard and Nick. They were awesome. Very knowledgeable, polite, respectful, hard working and punctual. I would absolutely recommend this company.

Jim arrived at my home an hour after I called Horne. He inspected the unit that needed replaced and even temporarily fixed a part that had gone bad just to get the heat working again. He wrote up two quotes for two different packaged units. One for a budget-conscious purchase and another for a higher end model and spent the time going over the pros and cons of each one. Horne was very flexible when scheduling the install. The day of the work I was given an arrival window of 8-9am. Austin and Keith arrived promptly at 8 and got to work immediately. They were very professional and kept me informed of the work being performed throughout the day. When the install was complete they stuck around to test the heat and A/C to make sure everything was working properly, as well as explaining the functionality of the thermostat. Horne and their team were a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend.

Such a great experience from start to finish. Sheri did a wonderful job explaining the issue with our current system and came up with a great recommendation for a new system. Dee was great at setting up the install and followed-up afterwards. The installation team was very professional and was in and out in one day. Can't say enough great things about Horne!
