The service from Absolute Comfort Heating and Air Conditioning surpassed my expectations. When I called for an appointment, they were able to fit me in the very next day. They gave me a two-hour appointment window, and arrived promptly. I'm a first-time home owner and clueless about furnaces. I bought the house a few months ago. The HVAC system was inspected and everything worked properly. The AC wasn?t used during the summer because I was renovating the house. Recently, as the temperatures started to drop, I turned on the furnace but there was no hot air. In fact, the AC turned on when the thermostat was turned to Heat. Based on how everything has gone with this house renovation (much more extensive than expected), I was preparing myself for the worst with the furnace. However, Steve from Absolute Comfort identified the problem immediately. And it was a very simple problem. During the house renovation the thermostat was removed from the wall mount. When it was reinstalled, the connection was off. Steve adjusted the connection and then properly set the thermostat into the wall mount. He also performed a full diagnostic on the furnace and he took the time to answer all my questions about my gas furnace. During this house renovation, I have encountered a number of service contractors who have tried to scare me into paying for unnecessary work or equipment. I cannot thank Steve enough for his honest assessment, thorough work, and patience with my questions. I will use Absolute Comfort Heating and Air Conditioning for regular maintenance of my HVAC system. I highly recommend this company.

I believe the technician's name was Shane. He was the same technician that you will read about in other reviews. Really good guy. When you make an appointment with this company, be ready to have someone at home all day. If there is a downside, it would be that they do take a while to show up. When he did arrive, he was wearing covers over his shoes and was very courteous. Once our problem was diagnosed, he explained what was found. I could have stood over him and watched everything, he actually didn't mind, but I let him work undisturbed. Our first visit was pretty late in the evening so they came out the next day and repaired our system. We have not had an issue since. PLEASE BE AWARE: if you book them through Angie's List, you need to call them anyway. They have trouble getting information from this site quickly, so it would be in your best interest to contact them directly. Good company though, and VERY good pricing... waaay less than Morris Jenkins.

After being given an installation date 9 days out by another company in a 95 degree + time of the summer, Sean showed up in the morning, said he could at least start installation that afternoon at a cost a little less than either of the other 2 quotes I'd received. Installation would be completed by the next day if not the same day. Sean and team finished that same day, were not only totally professional, but a joy to work with. Sean even threw in a couple extras at no additional cost. I strongly recommend this business.

I highly recommend this company. Hvac was broken i called 8am they arrived in less than 4 hours. Very honest. Saved me a ton of money and having to buy a new unit...came out assessed problem in 10 mins fixed it and was gone all for $128... What they didnt know...when the ac went at 6pm the week before i called Morris Jenkins who charged me $89 to come out...mj came out at 9pm but didnt fix anything...mj said capacitor out so fan not blowing $179 to repace (absolute price $128) they also told me my unit was 2.5 lbs low and it would cost $150 per lb to refill and they couldnt guarantee since unit was 11 years old that i still wouldnt need a new unit in 4 weeks...well i didnt want to spend $700 to be thrown away...single mom and cant afford a new unit But thanks to absolute i only spent $59 for diagnostic and $68 addl for capacitor and sitting here with a blanket in my living room cause its cold Absolute was honest...and had prices much lower than the competition $98/lb freon vs $150/lb and tried to save me money... to quote "sure the unit is 11 yrs old but its working we will try to fix it and hopefully it will be a few more years b4 you have to replace" This single mom who doesnt get child support 1. Appreciates the honesty 2.not trying to take advantage of a female (it happens a lot with companies telling single ladies they have to spend a lot more money than is necessary) I definitely recommend these guys!

Called provider first thing in the morning and left message but did not get a return call within 2 hours, so I called again and my call was answered promptly. I let them know I had purchased an Angie's Deal. Our A/C stopped blowing cold air over the weekend. After gathering all my information, I was told someone would be there within 2 hours. Steve arrived within the stated time frame. I explained to him that our A/C had stopped blowing cold air over the weekend and that I suspected it was because the freon was low in our unit. He went outside and confirmed that was true and let me know the cost of the freon. He told me the unit was very low and would require between 4-5lbs. I agreed for him to complete the job. He was done in a short amount of time. He let me know it took about 4.5lbs but that he would only charge me for 4lbs. We discussed my unit, and I let him know that we would be replacing it within the next year because we knew there were a few problems. I asked if he could provide me a quote for a new one. Steve was very nice and patient, and he answered all my questions. Overall, I am very pleased with this company! This is the second time we have used them. They do great work, and they never try to push unnecessary repairs or use scare tactics to make you purchase services or products you don't need. For example, I told Steve that we had hoped to get through this current summer with this unit but plan on replacing it (we were told last time it would need to be replaced soon, so this was not new knowledge to us) next year. He said we could definitely get by this summer but that we should seriously consider purchasing a new unit next time. I would highly recommend this company, and in fact, we have recommend them to others who were also pleased with their service. UPDATE: Unfortunately our A/C unit was worse off than we thought. The freon did not hold, and we had to call the company out again. At this time, we knew we had to change our unit. Steve promised the quote price and actually gave us an additional discount for the money we already paid for the freon. I was pleased and surprised. The only problem was the company had so many appointments that we couldn't get one until a week later. Shawn and Donnell showed up within the stated time they promised. I was told it would take about 4 hours. Surprisingly they were done in 3 hours and made sure to update me throughout the install. They worked fast and cleaned up nicely after themselves. Both were pleasant and did a great job! They took away our old unit and coil to dispose as well as the boxes the new unit came in. They also replaced the pad the A/C unit was on and reconnected everything. Overall, an excellent job and and excellent encounter. Again, there were no surprises for additional repairs, which I appreciate about this company. I would highly recommend them and plan on using them in the future to upkeep our system.

AC was not blowing cold air. Got appointment for day after initially calling to schedule and my AC was fixed within an hour (capacitor replaced and 1lb Freon added). Great service. thanks

Absolute Comfort came out when our AC unit stopped blowing cool air in our condo. They came out the same day and were able to unclog the drain that had backed up and also replaced some Freon in the unit. The cost was very reasonable. A few weeks later, the unit got clogged up again so they came back out and unclogged it free of charge (too much rust in the unit which will need to be replaced soon). Both visits they were very friendly and professional and explained everything to me. Will definitely use them again.

Guys did an excellent job and even went above and beyond when retro-fitting our old AC units with new Lenox units.

low in refrigerant. refilled 2lb refrigerant at $100 per ib. deduced $60 credit from the refrigerant cost. total cost is around $200. the service is exactly what we wanted and fast.

They responded promptly to our big deal purchase and came out the next day, even though they were busy due to a heat wave. The tech was pleasant and fixed the problem quickly and for a readonable price.

It was excellent. The tech showed up on time and advised how long it would take. They moved the unit as described and performed routine maintainence. They made sure before they left that everything was in working order. They will definitely be my first choice of providers.

He helped both my husband and I understand the two different type system's in the house and offered to come back the next day since it was still storming if system shut down again and we did not get it back on.

I called company around 7:30 PM. I talked with Shawn Shive. My air conditioner was not working at all. My house was getting very uncomfortable. I am disabled and need oxygen. I was very worried about high temperatures in the days ahead. Two hours after my call, Shawn was at my home and fixed the problem. This guy is the best in home service professional I have ever met. This company will have all my business for heating and air conditioning in the future. I highly recommend Comfort Heating and Air Conditioning. Shawn is fantastic.

Very punctual. Representative did a thorough check of air unit and due to frozen lines immediately stated we needed time for lines to thaw and set up follow up call without additional charge. Once we had let lines thaw, rep was able to clean and refill freon. System immediately started working. Representative also had quoted an estimate of 3 pounds of freon and when complete only used 2 pounds. Very friendly and will definitely use them again.

The guys did a fantastic job. They replaced our upstairs A/C unit. While doing so, they uncovered an issue with the initial installation of our downstairs unit. So far, so good with the fix of that unit. The guys at Absolute are very professional and courteous. We've used them for both our home and our office.

We needed to replace and upgrade our ten year old Goodman (spec) leaking A/C system. We received estimates from the top five vendors here on Angie's list. Steve was very up-front about the pros and cons of upgrading to a higher efficiency unit which we appreciated. After receiving all of the estimates, Absolute was clearly the lower cost contractor. We opted for a Lennox 13eer unit because we couldn't justify almost $1800 more for a 14eer which would take us over ten years to break even on. Absolute arrived on the scheduled day first thing in the morning and our new HVAC was up and running by mid-afternoon. Very pleased with our experience. And BTW: our new unit works much better than our old one. Heats and cools the house much quicker now.

The service was good. It was fine. I purchased the Deal on that and I did not follow-up on them for quite some time. It was a couple of months later before I actually got around using it. They came out and did what I wanted them to do. It was fine scheduling the service. They came out the same day or probably the next morning. They were good. If I had a friend or a neighbor looking for a similar service, I would tell them that I called them and they came out and fixed my problem. The Deal was for a service call and general check-up kind of thing. So, they applied what I paid for the service call and then, the other money was for the part and for the labor to put the igniter switch in. It has been igniting ever since they left. So, it is working and I have to say it is good quality.

I am so pleased with this service. Another HVAC company told me I would need to spend 3500 to repair m y HVAC system. The technician informed me that my system worked fine and went above and beyond to provide documentation for me. I could not be more pleased with this business!
