Marcio owns and operates a very honest, thorough and detail-oriented business and does exactly what he says at exactly the times he said he would. Most important, for people doing home improvements, Marcio is extraordinarily responsive and proactive with his communication. Specifically, we bought a house in May 2021 and wanted to add matching hard wood (5â  white oak) to areas of the house that had carpet and refinish the existing hardwood. The existing floors had gaps between the boards and had bumps in certain areas as well. Marcio procured the wood in the middle of a nationwide lumber shortage, dropped it off to let it settle for a couple days and then came by to install it. He then sanded the floors to be perfectly level, filled in the gaps, showed us stain and polyurethane options set out for us on our actual floors and then completed the staining and two coats of poly. The floors looked unbelievable. He added the shoe molding around the base and cove molding under each tread on the stairs. His work was impeccable, his timing was perfect and his price was the best of all the quotes I had initially received. I highly recommend him and his business.

THE PERFECT CONTRACTOR! Installed wood floors in our Lake Norman home, replacing carpeting in bedrooms and stairs. My husband is an extreme perfectionist with home remodeling and usually does the work himself, however he had too many projects going to add another, Marcio and his team are also perfectionists and will be added to the very top of our list for all flooring in future, and referred to all our friends. Prompt, cost conscious, creative, and meticulous. We could not be more pleased! They are the Dream Team for wood flooring!

I hired this company for a hardwood floor installation in our foyer and half bathroom. They also did a restoration job on the handrails of the stairs. Both projects were done professionally and on time. The crew thoroughly cleaned up behind themselves at the end. I wholeheartedly endorse Best Floors for anyone needing these types of services.

Marcio was so professional and great to work with. His price was much more reasonable than other quotes that I received. Based on other positive comments, I felt confident hiring him to refinish our floors and fix boards that were damaged by our dog. He and his team worked fast and got the job done timely, and Marcio was always responsive when I had questions. The floors turned out amazing! We also had him replace boards on our back deck stairs and the quality of his work is great. I would highly recommend him for wood refinishing and deck projects.

Marcio Vaz, was the company I picked from 4 other companies I researched. He had the best price and best time line. We purchased a house and needed to move in pretty fast. We closed on the 14th and Marcio, starting ripping up old carpet in 4 bedrooms, hallway and stairs the same day. His team is fast. Then floor repair and prep to sand stain and poly. His team knocked out repairing the floor damaged from nails from the carpet. Then he had to work on the steps that originally had a stair lift that was bolted to the steps. lots of holes, nails, bolts to remove. Plus replace 2 odd shaped steps, You could not tell the steps were in such bad shape once Marcio was done. Great job. Got another project coming up soon and Best floors will be the team to do the job. Job time line 6 days.

They did impeccable work. They took care of EVERYTHING, going way past their duty. They installed new floors upstairs which are gorgeous. Downstairs they had to refinish floors that were in VERY bad shape. They took so much care to make them perfect. The owner is the nicest most professional man and a joy to work with. I would highly highly recommend them.
