Description of Work: Spoke to Benfield yesterday, told him what I needed done, gave him my name, address and phone number, and we agreed to meet today at 10:00 AM for a cost estimate. When he hadn't showed up by 10:45 I called him. He said an emergency came up and he misplaced my phone number so he couldn't call me. Now, he knew my name, and knew I lived in Matthews, so he could have looked up my number in the book if he really gave a dam. Not only did he waste my entire morning, his excuse implies I'm stupid.

water heater repair
+ -1 moreI have not had any problems with our water heater at all. The serviceman was so kind to me. He let me know exactly what he was doing and what the recommended settings were for our unit. I would recommend them for the great job he did for us.
Description of Work: Benfield Electric installed a 40 gallon electric hot water heater in my home. Our home totals at about 1200 square foot of living space.

+ 0 moreThe work that this company did for me cost about eight thousand dollars. I liked this company and felt that they did very good work. I will continue to use them in the future. They show up right on time and get the job done at an affordable price. That is enough to make me happy.
Description of Work: This company hooked up gas lines to our central air and heating unit for us in both of our eight hundred square foot rental homes. These two homes are on the same property. They also changed out our entire heating and air conditioning systems for us also in both of these rental homes simultaneously.

+ -1 moreI thought that was very nice of them to do that. I do not believe that they charged for that service. I believe that it was included with the price of the unit and the installation charge. The charge for everything was around $2800 which I thought was average. Anyways, they did do a good job with everything. I have no complaints. This company is by far OK with me. They did do exactly what they came here to do. They took their time and made sure that the safety of my family came first.
Description of Work: Benfield Electric came back and checked all the electrical on our heating and air conditioning unit once it was installed. They came back to ensure that all the electrical work was done properly. I guess it was kind of like a service check.

+ -1 moreRichardson's is great, and I will tell you that since the removal of my old system and the installation of my new one, I have already used them again. They are polite and they were completely knowledgeable about putting in my new medium sized HVAC unit. I would give them a great recommendation to other people looking for those types of services.
Description of Work: Richardson's took out my heating and air conditioning unit and put in a new one for me. I purchased the unit separately so my bill to them was simply for the removal of the old system and the installation of the new one.

+ 0 moreThey did a really good job of getting our outlets in quickly. All of the wiring they did has worked fine, and they are a really great company to work with. My husband can now run several different power tools and not worry about having problems with the wiring.
Description of Work: Benfield Electric installed four new outlets, two light fixtures, and a new breaker box in our newly remodeled hobby shop.

Description of Work: Benfield Electric installed a new outlet for the pump for the new furnace that I had installed. It was part of the service contract for the furnace. He did take a look at my doorbell that was not working and he fixed that for me while he was here.

+ -1 moreWe had three large electrical boxes that fed electricity to various trap/skeet machines, buildings and lighting that had water damage. Steve came out and did a patch job to keep us running until he could get back with all the necessary materials/parts, all of ours was obsolete 25 years ago. He came back when he said he would and did the job right. No problems.
Description of Work: Rewired/installed new boxes/wiring in a 50 year old facility.
