They showed up exaclty when they said they would and took care of the problem. The problem was caused by having dirty air filters. All City cleaned the filters and checked to make sure everything was working. I found them to be an honest and trustworthy company. I would use this company again and recommend them to a friend.

It turned out that our painting contractor put a nail through one of the AC lines in our walls and caused a Puron leak. Ernie was able to find the leak and fixed our problem at no charge to us even though it was not his fault and it took him considerable time and effort. The fact that he took responsibility for this because he had installed new components speaks to his excellent character. His persistence and patience were amazing. This was the most impressive contractor experience that I have ever had.

My experience could not have been better. I called in the morning for an afternoon appointment since I found that one of my AC units was not working properly in the morning. Ernie Brummitt was the serve technician. He was right on time. He quickly diagnosed the problem and quickly repaired it for a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend All City Heat & Air.

He let me know what needed to be done and we agree what the cost would be. When he had finished the work. He phoned back and told me he was able to use a less expensive freon and was able to adjust the bill, Very pleased with the work and will use them at another home I own.

We initially were having problems with our heater--it was not working consistently. And All City Heat and Air came out and assessd the problems. Although it took a couple trial and errors until the problem could be resolved due to parts, they persevered and explained the process of trial and error, and kept us updated with all that he was doing until it was definitely proven that a new system was needed. Everything went very smoothly installing a new heating and air condition system including inspections.

The diagnosis was done in the morning and the work was done before the end of the day, even though there was a lot of work to be done. Ernie is great to work with - he will take time to explain what needs to be done and why.We have used All City for 10 years now and have always been happy with their service.

Ernie was warm, professional, and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain things to me -- how the ACs are designed, the purpose of the different components, how to tell when something is working well or needs repair. The thing that I liked most of all was that Ernie did not exaggerate the problems that we have & did not pressure me to buy an entirely new AC. He mentioned the cost advantages of a long term contract for HVAC but didn't high pressure me to purchase one today. A minor negative: the receipt was entered electronically & sent to my e-mail address but I have not received it & was not given a hard copy. I have written to the company asking them to resend the invoice and restating my e-mail address.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service. They charged the same amount of money as other companies and I don't think they had any exceptional service. The person who came out was prompt and showed up very quickly after I purchased the deal. There was no delay. There was a diagnosis that was supposed to be done and their charge for that should have included finding a leak, but I was charged additional for that. I don't think his price was that great. He was quite responsive in answering any questions I asked.

We are a satisfied return customer. Jeff showed high flexibility to accommodate tight timing and product selection with this project. As expected Jeff, Ernie and crew executed the installation professionally incl the rebate paperwork. Again, All City comes highly recommend.

The electric heating strips on my heat pump burned up on Friday. I had another company come out that day and they said it would be Monday before I salesman could come out and give me the price on a new heat pump. We were going to have a cold spell on Tuesday and I was afraid it would not last that long. So I called All City on Saturday and Jeff was in my area and was here in 45 minutes. He was able to give me a quote that day. Jeff was very professional and explained everything to me in great detail. He installed my new heat pump on Tuesday right before the cold front moved in. He was very meticulous and did a great job. I would recommend him to all my friends.

The staff at All City Heat & Air came to our rescued in a very short notice. They looked at our furnaces and found out that the system was not working because of a malfunctioning board. They replaced the board promptly and the heat came back on. I had another contractor looked at the system and they wanted us to get a new furnace. We did not have to do that as the folks at All City found out what the problem really was. We are very pleased with this vendor.

During the coldest snap in recent history, Ernie made time in his schedule to come out on the same day we called him and give us a free second opinion on the repair that was needed to fix our heater. We felt very comfortable with Ernie's knowledge about our HVAC system (Carrier - zone system), and his honesty. He was able to give us a quote on replacing the one piece of equipment that he thought was causing the issues and indicated that if replacement of this part didn't fix the problem, he would put the old piece back in and not make us pay for the new part. it turned out that replacement of the zoning board solved the problem, and Ernie was able to make the repair in ~1 hour. Ernie was very professional and knowledgeable, and we plan to hire him to perform annual maintenance on our Carrier system going forward.

Jeff was great. He was literally at my house two hours after I called him, and this was on Christmas Eve. The first thing he checked was the furnace. He went down to the crawl space and determined the furnace was working good; however, he noticed a leak coming from underneath and determined that the condensate drain line was running in an INCLINED path. Jeff re-ran the line and now there is no leak! Next we went outside to the a/c units where Jeff discovered an inoperable fan motor on the downstairs unit. He tried to get the part that day, but the parts place closed early for Christmas (understandably). I was worried about what the cost would be to replace the motor...I had seen online that it can cost anywhere between $400-$600. Jeff reassured me that these units were less than 5 years old and that they were still under warranty and that the total cost to replace would only be about $179. He also said he would take care of all the warranty paperwork and he could have unit fixed by Monday (12/30/2013). He is certainly a man of his word. He was in-and-out in about 15 minutes and now the a/c works awesome! Total cost for all this work was $218. Unbelievable. I look forward to doing business with All City in the future. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Jeff took time to explain all options and to answer all of our questions. Once we made a decision, scheduling was easy and Jeff and his crew were always on time. They did what they promised and left a clean job site. Jeff ran us through our new control unit and the ins and outs of the other new equipment. The code inspection was a breeze. They took care of all the rebate paperwork for us. This is how dealing with a contractor should be. Highly recommend.

It went great! Turns out the capacitor was broken, and they fixed it right then. I feel like we got a super deal with them!

Very informative information on types of units we could choose from. Made suggestions as to which units would work best for our home and for our budget. Dates of service - Completely removed old ductwork and a/c - heating units from the attic and from the crawlspace. Hauled off all old materials and Installed new units and ductwork. Cleaned up after themselves. Complete inspection/ walk through by company manager. Any issue fixed before he left. Refund/discounts from power company and gas company filled by All City and paperwork for us to file for tax refund mailed to us. Would recommend this company to anyone. Happy with job done.

Service was excellent. Ernie phoned ahead of time, arrived on time and immediate went to work.

The A/C was not working. Purchased the $39 diag special to find out what the problem was. I called and they came out the same day. They found out that the fan motor on the condenser was seized up. The replacement motor would cost around $500. After I picked myself off the floor, I called a couple other shops to make sure the price was in the ball park. Since the price was "right" and they were able to get fixed that day, I went ahead with the repair. They repaired the motor and got the A/C repaired the same day. Everything has been working great since the repair. Would recommend.
