We had a great experience with the company and working with Bob Maceda. They answered all of our questions, returned calls promptly, and showed up right on time. The windows looked so great that we didn't even put back up some of our window treatments. We highly recommend them!

No surprise whatsoever that Clear Choice is a Super Service Award winners because they are fantastic to work with. Very impressed with the quality of their product and workmanship. Of the six top-rated Angie's List window companies we had write estimates, Clear Choice was by far the best bang for the buck. We highly recommend working with this company!

I had several companies provide bids to replace the windows in our home. Our home is 20+ years old and had basic builder grade wood frame windows that were worn out and it was time to start replacing them. We were thinking we would do it in two stages. Bob Maceda came out to our home, measured, gave us a price, and was willing to work with us in stages. He even suggested how to go about doing that, replacing all of the front and then all of the back windows in the follow on phase. We really liked his product but we wanted to wait and hear from the others before making our decision. After looking at the others, it was clear that Bob had the best product for the best price. We decided to do all the windows instead of breaking it into two phases. We contacted Bob, he came back by to get a check for 50% down and placed our order. It took a couple of weeks for the windows to come in. He scheduled us right away, but unfortunately we got caught in the snow and ice events. Bob watched the weather, kept us informed, and scheduled the install literally on the first good weather day. It took two full days to do the installation. His workers were EXCELLENT. They showed up on time, were very neat, respectful, professional, and courteous. And I must say, we LOVE our new windows. The house is quiet. The windows are clear. They have a slight tint and our furniture won't fade with the blinds left open. It feels like a new home. Beautiful from the outside as well as the inside. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about Bob and his guys. If you need new windows, use Clear Choice. I highly recommend them!

With many high gutters on our two story home and being surrounded by high shade trees and pines, we wanted to get gutter guards to prevent our gutters from being continuously clogged with leaves and pine needles. We compared many different types of guard systems at a local home show and decided on several similar products. The bid by Clear Choice Windows to install their guards was acceptable and we liked the stainless steel mesh product's characteristics. Bob Maceda came to the house and gave us his estimate of costs and we set up a work date. The install crew arrived as scheduled and efficiently installed the guards within several hours. They cleaned up well and the guards looked totally unobtrusive from the ground. They have performed well to date, and we have not had to worry about reaching 20 foot eaves to clean our gutters since.

Bob was initially recommended to us by several neighbors who have used him. The job was done in just one day and the cleanup was great. Bob checked on the job along the way. He is nice, efficient, and dependable. All of the men he has working for him have been with him for years. They are very skilled and work very well together. Overall, our experience with them was great and we would use them again!

Bob came promptly and gave us much information and a competitive estimate.. Lee did the installation. He was prompt, cheerful, neat and very professionnal.. he was a pleasure to have.

Clear Choice company president, Bob Maceda, came to our house to do the estimate the day after we called to inquire about prices. His installer, Lee, came the following day to do the measurements and installation. They were both very professional and Bob even put a rush on our window order from the factory because of the break-in. It took only 1 week from the time the window was ordered until it was installed. Bob was able to match up the coil perfectly and Lee did a great job installing the window. It looks even better than the one we had in there before. We highly recommend Clear Choice and will definitely use them again in the future.

Installers were on time and did a professional job. I was a little disappointed in some of the caulking. I talked to the owner Bob about the caulking and I think they will do better on future jobs. I was able to go back over the caulking with minimal effort.

My husband and I decided it was time to update our windows. We shopped around, and Clear Choice gave us the best service for the best price. Bob Maceda came out to our house personally to show us his product and give us an estimate. This was a big job for us, and he was very patient as my husband and I took a few weeks (maybe even a month?) to make a commitment and sign a contract. The workers who came to install the windows were very courteous, and Bob came out to check in and see how everything was going. He wants to make sure his customers are happy! My husband and I could only replace the windows for half our house, but I'm already looking forward to doing the other half in a few months. Overall, a very pleasant (and economical!) experience.

Came out to give an estimate and was forthright in advising he couldn't do the job. The windows he could offer were not in keeping with the design of the house. Nevertheless, we were extremely impressed with his professionalism and would certainly use his service if he could offer a product matching our needs.

The sales demonstration in our home using a small scale replica of the clear choice window made it very easy to evaluate this product before purchase. My only suggestion for improvement is in the scheduling of appointments --- it seemed as if it always took several phone calls to get an appointment set. Once a time was set, the vendor always arrived on time. The installers were very neat and they completely cleaned the window and removed all construction debris before they left each day. They honored the Angie's List coupon and gave me a good price for the job based on my internet comparisons. I would strongly recommend this vendor.

Bob was very patient with us whIle we made our decisions and never pushed us. He provided all the information we requested an explained in detail the product and the process. His crew showed up on time. Answered all questions during the process, completed the job as scheduled, and cleaned up behind themselves. We later discovered a damaged shrub and Bob immediately agreed to pay for replacing it. Everyone involved was pleasant and professional.

I selected Clear Choice Windows among 3 companies based on the product quality, salesmanship, and professionalism of the owner and salesman, Bob Maceda. Bob came to my home within a few days of my making an initial inquiry call. He brought a sample window with him showed me the features and discussed his service, indicated it was about a 3 week period to order the windows and schedule installation. On installation day a crew of 3 showed up and they were able to complete the job in a day. There was a problem in that one small window failed to make it from the manufacture but I was told it was on it's way that that $500 could be withheld from the invoice until the window was installed. This was completed in about 10 days. My wife and I are happy with the window selection and installation.

I got the Angie's list discount and found yet another excellent business.

Update 5/24/14 - Owner of service called after I posted review on Angie's List. Was extremely apologetic. Explained that an answering service took my original call because he was out, and they never forwarded the scheduled appointment to him. He offered to come over as soon as was convenient for me and give me the "deal of a lifetime". Rescheduled him to come over a few days later. He showed up and after looking at the problem informed me that a window replacement wasn't necessary. He requested that I remove this review, but I feel it more fair to update the review so future customers are fully informed. Moral of the story - if you call the number of this company and want to schedule an appointment, ensure you are speaking with someone EMPLOYED by the company and NOT dealing with the answering service. 5/18/14 - Scheduled an appointment for a Window estimate for Sunday, between 3pm and 6pm. They never showed up, never called or left any voicemails.

Bob arrived promptly and was professionally attired. After a quick examination, Bob informed me that I could just replace the glass in my very large windows and referred me to a local glass provider. He also recommended what type of glass I should request. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with Bob's manner and integrity and I would definitely call him whenever I truly needed to replace my windows.

Bob was right on time for my estimate. He is very knowledgeable and took his time explaining his product. He was the second of three estimates I had scheduled. After he left, I did more research, cancelled the third estimate and went with Clear Choice because the quality of the windows and the great reviews I read about them. My windows arrived quickly, the installation was scheduled quickly, the installer arrived right on time, was very polite and he showed me again how the windows work. He cleaned up after himself very well. I couldn't be more pleased with the windows. They look great and I can tell a huge difference with the energy efficiency already. I can't wait to get the rest of my windows replaced with Clear Choice! Thanks Bob!

Bob, from Clear Choice, came promptly at the appointed time. His direct, but easy, manner immediately eased my anxiety about having to endure a sales session of being pressured or ?persuaded?. He patiently listened to my concerns about window replacement and answered all of my questions. His expertise in the window industry quickly became obvious. Rather than only bringing pictures of the window, Bob brought a sample window and demonstrated its useful and convenient features. Having a sample also made it much easier to comprehend the solidness of its design. He also brought a demonstration tool that gives you the opportunity to experience the heat-reducing effects of the glass Clear Choice uses in their windows. It was impressive! The installation crew, led by Nate, was punctual and friendly. Each of them gave me their full and polite attention whenever I asked a question or expressed a concern. They followed up on every issue I raised. The installation was complicated by having to remove original metal windows that had their flanges nailed behind the exterior siding. The job was further complicated by the poor condition of the cedar siding adjacent to the original windows. The siding was wet or rotted in many places. Nate suggested cutting back the siding approximately an inch or more to remove the damaged areas. This had to be done on all the windows so that the exterior trim would match. This meant substantially more work and materials. Nate undertook this preferred approach without hesitation and without additional cost to us! The workmanship was impressive?everything was very uniform, neat and tight. The crew finished the job in one day (despite the unanticipated extra work) and cleaned up the construction debris perfectly. Nate then patiently gave us a tutorial on operating, cleaning and maintaining the windows. We chose the triple pane windows in the hope of obtaining more exterior sound-proofing. The new windows definitely ?dampen? exterior sound. For example, the sounds of exterior construction at the home next-door are not as sharp as they were with the original double pane windows. The windows may actually be more sound-resistant than we know because much of the remaining sound may be coming through the walls of our not-so-well insulated home. Bob stopped by at the end of the day to see if we were completely satisfied (which we certainly were!). Both the inside and the outside of the house look dramatically better. I procrastinated on much-needed window replacement for years because I anticipated unforeseen problems and not getting value for the cost. My experience with Bob was quite the opposite?all problems solved and great quality and value.

The team, led by Trace, is knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. During the installation of the first set of windows, Trace noticed one of the windows was scratched and reordered another window without me having to find this myself. The old windows were wooden and leaky with lots of outside air coming in. We noticed an immediate improvement. Part of this was the new vinyl windows but in addition, the team did a lot of caulking for each window to close down the air leaks. I would highly recommend Bob?s team and am very glad I found them! I did use them because they had won Angie list awards and I was not disappointed!

I would recommend Clear Choice without hesitation. When Bob came to my house to give me an estimate I was so impressed that I decided I didn't need another estimate. He was thorough in his explanation of what I could expect, he took a great deal of time measuring for new windows, and he answered all my questions. I felt very comfortable talking with him; I never felt pressured in any way to use his company. His installers arrived on time on the day of installation and began work immediately. My original windows were old, and it was a fairly messy job to remove them, but they managed! They were in and out of my house all day,but they did all they could not to bother me. They were there for about nine hours the first day, only taking a short break to eat lunch. the second day they again arrived on time and began work immediately. The job was almost completed when they came back the second day, and they finished up after only a few hours. I was not at home when they completed the job and left, but when I came home, I was very pleased to see that they had cleaned up all trash and debris, and I had beautiful, energy-saving new windows on my house! One other comment I have is the reason I decided to get new windows is my house is nearly 50 years old, it is always cold in the winter, and most of the windows were original to the house (something Bob confirmed). My new windows were installed 4 days ago, and there is NO doubt I can tell a difference in the level of warmth. I have turned my thermostat down 2 degrees, and the house is still warm! A job well done! Addendum: Bob, owner of the company, came by the day of completion, and I was not home. Today he called and asked if he could come over as he wanted to check the work. He came to my house, , looked at the installation work, made sure I knew how to open the windows, and checked for any drafts.. I am so impressed that he took that time. Another reason I am absolutely so glad i read his reviews on Angie's List, called him, and decided not to even get any other estimates ! Clear Choice is the best!

I have been very busy these days and could not get chance to write a review. Finally I am able to sit down to share my experience with clear choice windows company. I was a returning customer. In the spring I worked with Bob's company to replace some windows. I liked the new windows and the installation was good. So I contaced Bob without hesitance. Bob showed up right on time (again) the second day, measured the windows, and scheduled an installation within two weeks. Bob gave me another discount. The installation went very smoothly. They arrived in 9:30am and by 4pm they were done. They put rugs on my hardwood floor and vacumed the floor and roof after the job was done. Bob also gave me a follow-up on the installation. The overall installation is satisfying and I highly recommend Bob's company. I look forward to doing business with Bob again.

He came exactly on time, brought samples of Clear Choice window product and available color options. His estimate was in similar price range of other companies we interviewed. He even did a lead paint test since our home was built in 1965 and he explained why that was needed. He was very knowledgeable and took a lot of time answering questions. It was a toss up as to which company we eventually hired because the ones we had give estimates all had a good products with similar qualities and price range. In the end we went with a company which was recommended by a friend. We appreciate the professionalism shown by Bob and Clear Choice company.

The windows I wanted to replace faced the rising sun and it got so hot my plastic slat blinds warped from the heat and the room was super uncomfortable. I called around for various estimates for 5 windows for the house. I had called 7 companies. I had various estimates from 1300-4700.Bob came and gave a demonstration that was not high pressure sales unlike other companies that said you have to sign today. I went with clear choice as they had the best window for the price. Home depot wanted 4700$ for a similar window.I selected Clear choice. They showed up and went right to work removing the old aluminum windows and installing the new ones.It went reasonably fast less then 6 hours remove replace and clean up. The best part is these were americans doing the work.The new windows are really efficient in noise as the outside noise level has been noticeably lower.The old windows were double pane and you could feel the cold and heat transferring thru them. The new ones not at all. I am really happy with the new windows and plan on in the future doing the other 6 with Clear Choice. the window specs are triple pane, double hung sliding screen and are made out of vinyl. With the new windows the heat does not come on as often so Ill save money there

Bob (the owner) came out and spent 2 hours describing the merits of his product and answering all of our many questions. His sales pitch was low pressure. He made some suggestions such as using casement windows above our sink since there was more of a reach and opening and closing the windows would be easier. Also, we used "obscured glass" in the master bath which meant no need for blinds. He was accessible by cell phone throughout the project. All of the windows were custom built so there was a 2 week lag time. I know nothing about windows but I assume this is standard. His installers were all polite and professional. It took 2 days to complete the installation. They cleaned everything up nice. We had a few random questions/concerns which were all addressed. So far we are very satisfied and have had nothing to complain about along the way. His quote was a bit lower than another Angielist Window company we didn't like. However, our choice to go with Bob was more about other factors like our interaction with him. We felt like he was more honest and likely to provide a service and product as promised.
