The representative from Cary Plumbing was very thorough and also performed some minor repairs on the toilets. I could have not have been more pleased with their work and professionalism.

They called ahead of time and verified what time they expect to arrive. They got right to work and removed the Back Flow Value that wasoriginally installed in the wrong place by the original home builder. They fixed that and installed anew Back Flow Valve in the correct spot and we have had issues since. They did a great job and we would definately call on Cary Plumbing again when their services are needed.

I called for service in the morning, and they were able to come out the same day. They called ahead and arrived within the estimated time frame that they said they would. The plumber (Paul) was professional and efficiently unclogged a drain and repaired a commode without problem. He was personable and honest. I would use them again!

He removed the old heater from the location. Very professional and explained needed information. Clean-up very well.

A component went bad on my Navien on demand gas water heater, leaving me with no hot water. Needed a authorized service person to repair it so as to not void the remaining warranty. Cary Plumbing was listed on Navien's web site, so I called them. They were able to send someone that afternoon (called around 10:00 AM). The repair technician arrived on time and interfaced with the manufacturer to confirm the problem and arrange for an overnight shipment of the part from Navien. He also cleaned the flow sensor (the bad part) to temporarily get me hot water. The new part arrived the next day and they came in the late afternoon and made the repair. They only charged for a single visit (part was under warranty.) The technician was very knowledgeable and courteous. He also let me know what the cause of the issue was (sediment/iron in the water supply) and recommended someone to test the water and advise what type of filter would work best. Overall excellent experience with this company.

We knew our water heater was on its last leg as the water was becoming more and more lukewarm. One morning, we woke up to find it dripping slowly over the garage floor. We called Cary Plumbing because it was highly recommended by our contractor and by Angie's List. We got an informative answer, including how to shut off the water and gas, as well as what the pricing would be to replace the water heater both on the weekend (which it was at the time) and during the week. Since we only had a slow drip, we opted to save the $300 extra for the weekend call and have it replaced on Monday morning which it was.When I returned home on Monday afternoon around 4:00 or so, I detected a clear smell of gas in my kitchen/TV room which is adjacent to the garage. My son had noticed the same thing but he did not recognize the danger or know what to do. I called Cary Plumbing immediately and they send someone around to look at the situation and he immediately noticed and corrected the problem. We were impressed with the responsiveness of the company to the problem but unimpressed that it had happened to start with.

It was horrible! We had 3 knobs in each shower, and he said we couldn't replace it so we had to get one big plate in each shower since we were selling the house. SO they cut through the shower elclosure in both showers, and when he opened up one wall, he suggested that we replace the pipes from the shower to the water heater since they were old. It was $1,400.00. When we had a buyer for the house two weeks later do a house inspection, everything failed! The plate that they installed in the master bath was never caulked at all. There were leaks underneath the house by the water heater, and the master bathtub didn't hold water. We called them back, and they did come and fix the issues, but he tried to claim he wasn't responsible for the leaks, even though it wasnt leaking before he came, and he still charged us $100.00. Then, when they were doing the plate in the master bathroom, besides caulking it, they put screws in it, and they screwed them so tight they penetrated the wall and came out into the next bathroom.

The experience with Cary Plumbing was very positive. The team there was professional, knowledgeable and their customer service was outstanding. They did what they said they would do every step of the way. I would recommend them and definitely use their services again.

Company came to my home to install hot water dispenser. I had previously had them out for a consult to plan this work (see prior review) and I requested the same plumber (Brook) to come and do the install. I am happy to report that Brooks did an excellent job, and he was very pleasant to work with throughout. This wasn't a technically demanding job, but this is a good example of a company that approaches both large and small jobs with a good attitude and focus on quality. This is my third positive experience with Cary Plumbing. I have posted a few pics of the completed installation as well.

Very well.. I have used them before. The charge a minimum of $89(first hour) which covers travel etc.. But will do extra work so both times I've had them do simple repairs(for a plumber) on multiple minor plumbing issues.

Both guys were professional, timely and reasonable for their services.

Fantastic service! I had no hot water for two days. The gas company was out for 2 hours and unable to tell me what was wrong and wanted to charge me $75 just to come back the next day. PSNC turned off my gas. Brad from Cary Plumbing was able to come out the next day after I called and not only diagnosed the problem but within one hour told me my rinnai water heater was fine and that the problem was due to the exhaust pipe that had somehow become dislodged. I was very impressed by his service and knowledge! If you have any problems with your Rinnai Heater and smell gas call Brad first!

Another successful service visit with Cary Plumbing! This is the second time that I have had these guys out for work and it probably won't be the last. The discussion started last Friday evening around 6pm when I called intending to leave a message, and the phone was answered by their on call plumber. He took the time to discuss what I needed, and he suggested that I call back on Tuesday (Monday was the Memorial Day holiday) and ask the company to send a plumber out the next time they had someone in the area. On Tuesday, I called in and explained that I would like to have someone come by and evaluate my proposed installation. They scheduled something for a 3 hour window two days later and said they would call me 30 minutes prior to arrival. Thursday came, and mid way through the window, I received a call from Brooks at Cary Plumbing saying that he was on the way to my house. When he arrived, he proceeded to look over what I wanted to do and made several useful recommendations with regard to the installation. Brooks was VERY helpful and pleasant to work with. He pointed out the 'easy path' to do the install, but this didn't quite line up with what I had in mind. When I explained what I had envisioned, he noted that it would be a more difficult install, but that it could certainly be done and he also suggested next steps with regard to some possible cabinet modifications that may need to be performed to get this unit in the place that I want it. Overall, this has been my experience with Cary Plumbing in the past and this is why I will use them again when it's time to do the actual installation of the hot water dispenser. I was happy with the results of the consult and felt like it was money well spent.

Excellent. Pipe was replaced, he testing the water pressure and problem was solved. Came day after I called. It was a slow dripping leak and was not an emergency.

I called the office and spoke to a receptionist. She took my information down and inquired how soon I needed the work done. I wanted the valve in the bathroom done asap and the sink issues could be taken care of today or later as determined by the service person. She told me someone would be out between my call around 1:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. I received a call from the service person that he was on his way around 3:50 or so. He came in and looked over the problems. He first turned off the water to the toilet - I had been unable to turn it off. He went out to the service vehicle to get parts, came back in and got to work. It didn't take that long and I was delighted at the price. I will use this company again!

I was very pleased with the work they performed. They found the problem immediately and came up with a solution. It involved cutting into the wall board in my garage because it was an outside faucet but that was the only way they could fix it. I bought a wall panel and Carey's installed it and made the job easier. I called them late on Friday evening and they scheduled early Wednesday morning but they were willing to come Monday but I wasn't available. I would rate them "5's" right across the board and they are just very professional. They are prepared and can give you a referral to somebody for anything they can't do. They were very responsive and cleaned up after themselves very well. They were just great guys and did a great job. It was not an easy job for the two guys they sent out. They remember who you are and that means a lot to me. I feel the price was very reasonable for what they had to do.

Bobby the technician was very polite and called me 15 minutes before to let me know when he was going to be there. I had many questions for him and he answered all of them. I was glad when he said that he may be able to repair the faucet instead of replacing it. He saved me money by doing this. After he was done he showed me what he had to do and what parts that he fixed. I asked him about some water heaters after this and he stayed to talk to me about my options. I am very glad that I used them and will be using them in the future.

Cary Plumbing has become exclusively our plumbers. When our home’s original polybutylene water supply plumbing system sprang a leak near our 75-gallon tank water heater causing massive flood damage, we knew that we had to fully replace that plumbing system and to switch to a tank-less water heater. We found Cary Plumbing through Angie’s List. We also interviewed three other plumbers. Cary Plumbing stood out, when we interviewed them, as being most knowledgeable and most interested in both listening to and responding to our concerns and preferences. Cary Plumbing also impressed us, when we interviewed them, as being creative in planning out our re-plumbing project with minimized demolition required for the pipe installation. After we interviewed Mike W. and hired CP, Mike T. came over to inspect our house before starting the re-plumbing project. Mike T. reminded us of Mike W., because Mike T.’s friendly nature, knowledge, and responsiveness to our preferences earned our immediate trust. Mike T. and several other CP people then worked over the next several days, completing the project on time and on budget. Mike W. came back periodically to make sure that we were pleased with the progress. In that regard, the quality of the plumbing work that CP did is beyond excellent. The minimal cuts that CP made in walls and ceilings to install the new pipes, and their installation of new pipes in bathroom vanities without removing the vanities, impressed us enough. However, their success in completely re-piping our master bathroom shower without removing a single tile truly “blew us out of the water” so to speak. Note: other plumbers had forecast ripping out shower tiles or proposed leaving some of the polybutylene pipes in place. We also wanted a beefed-up water main shutoff valve – and so it is. Mike T. cheerfully listened to and acted on our requests for other project tweaks on multiple occasions, and suggested some of his own along the way. We subsequently hired CP to do another project – replacing the flexible natural gas pipes and flexible gas appliance hookups in our house. Then, we hired CP again to reconnect our kitchen sink and dishwasher after a kitchen restoration, and to run plumbing to a utility sink in our garage. The CP pattern has become clear to us: excellent work, the right materials, completed on time and on budget, by people who are friendly and who not only listen but then do things according to the customer’s preferences.

It wasn't a big job. It was less than $100. We have Delta faucets and some plumbers say that they should be replaced with Moen. When I called Cary Plumbing they told me that performed Delta faucets. It gave me a higher confidence with the Delta faucets and when I need to get them repaired I will call Cary Plumbing. They came out the same day that I called. He came out when he said he would. He did a good job, didn't make a mess and was quick.

Mike was a great crew chief, great team working with him, the sheet rock repair was wonderful, minimal disruption and mess from this work.

The gentleman that came to my house was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He explained what he was doing and why. He got the drain cleared with no problems. He tested that everything was working well and made sure there were no leaks where he removed the trap under the sink. He cleaned up some water that had spilled on the floor before he left. Overall it was a good experience.
