I looked under my house Saturday afternoon to turn on the water leading to my outside spigots to find a large wet area under the house caused by a leak at the copper piping where it connects to a water filter. I called Cary Plumbing to see if they had someone available to fix the problem. Brad listened as I explained the problem, then said he had someone who could be there that Saturday afternoon, but I would have to pay the after hours billing rate. I told I understood and asked the rate, which he kindly provided. He said he would contact Tommy who wold give me a call to let me know when to expect him. I explained I had an Angie's List first time user coupon. He said Tommy would be able to take care of that also. Within 10 minutes, Tommy called to say he would be there in 30 minutes. He was there in less than 30 minutes, quickly looked at the problem and repaired the leak at a minimal cost. He showed me the part that failed and explained why it failed. Great service. I will be contacting them for a quote on a future plumbing project.
Description of Work: Repaired water line leak at water filter under the house.

Installation of the water heater was not as smooth and seamless as I would have hoped but Cary Plumbing was consistently responsive through the problems we encountered. They installed a tankless water heater. Two weeks later we smelled natural gas in the vicinity of the installation. We called Cary Plumbing and someone immediately came to our home to attend to the problem. In another week we smelled natural gas again. Cary Plumbing came out immediately and suggested we call PSNC energy to fix the problem. The plumber waited until I got a response from PSNC and knew they were on the way. The worst part of the experience was the PSNC service person. He was unpleasant and disrespectful of our problem but he fixed it within 15 minutes. When he came into the house to light our gas logs he tracked mud and dirt through the house. I complained to PSNC and at least I got a response from a supervisor at the company. The next issue was getting the final electrical installation and Town of Cary inspection. After waiting three weeks for the electrician Cary Plumbing gave me his cell number and he was at our house within a couple of days. Cary Plumbing is supposed to call Cary and arrange for an inspector to view the installation. After two more weeks I called Cary Plumbing again and they said the electrician never informed them that he completed the electrical. Cary Plumbing scheduled the inspector and the ordeal was over in a few days. Normally I would not grade the contractor an A after this experience but Cary Plumbing always was there to correct the problem I faced without delay. Mike Waite is an excellent representative of the company. The water heater has been a great addition to our home and we are very satisfied with it.

Plumber came out next day and fully explained what needed to be done. One of the hose bibs required cutting drywall to access a connection inside a wall of our house. Plumber completed the job and cleaned up. All I had to do was vacuum the drywall dust. Both hose bibs work great now and we're very pleased. Would recommend Cary Plumbing.

Excellent. On-time and at a reasonable cost.
Description of Work: Use Cary Plumbing for both our home and business and they have always done excellent work at reasonable cost. We had a hot water heater acting up and rather than sell us a new one they were honest and only replaced the heating elements. They also have done some large projects for my company and we receive the same level of quality service. At this point will not consider another company.

When I called Cary Plumbing on the phone they were very professional and courteous. Set up an appointment for the next afternoon. Paul arrived right on time, was also very professional and courteous. Explained what had happened to cause the leak as well as what he was doing to repair the issue. The only process took approximately 45 minutes to an hour. He was very quick, efficient and neat. I would absolutely contact them again in the future.

There were no issues and the installation went well from beginning to end even though there was a massive amount of re-routing of water and gas lines. Job was very neet looking after finish. Explanations were given on how to use the product and all paper work and inpections were coordinated with us. I am very happy with this company's work
Description of Work: Cary Plumbing Company installed a Rinnai Tankless water heater in my garage. This required moving the gas line, increasing he pressure in this line, re-routing the water lines and installing an electrical outlet. They were fast, professional and did an exceedly good job by doing all the piping and electrical under the house where it could not be seen. Inspections were ordered and coordinated with us. This company did an outstanding job.

I had an old unneeded tempering (mixing) valve on the hot water line from my water heater. It was failing and causing my hot water temperature to vary considerably. Cary Plumbing sent someone out within a few days to remove the valve, reconnect the lines, and cap some old, unused loop lines. Service was quick, professionally done and painless. Price was right.

We had problems over the years with PVC tubing leaking from 3rd story attic and running down through walls and ceilings of floors below. Decided it was time to replumb after the last episode and was thankful that we were home and found the leak relatively soon after it started rather than being away for a week and coming home to an indoor swimming pool. All the houses in our subdivison were built in the early 1990's and used PVC and Cary Plumbing has made a living out of replacing this tubing with PEX and is very experienced in doing this "procedure". Since we were going to the expense of replumbing we also decided to get the the original gas hot water heater removed from the attic and install a new tankless water heater under the crawl space to prevent any future issues with a tank of water leaking from the attic. This is expensive but saves money in the long run by having the house replumbed and hot water heater changed at the same time rather than coming back and doing the hot water heater a at later date, AFTER is has leakied down through the ceiling one last time. The guy that came in and gave us an estimate was very professional and indicated this was a very routine job for them. What really sold me on them is that they really minimized the amount of sheetrock and wall damage AND that their estimate covers all the sheetrock repair and painting. They actually patch the sheetrock and paint the entire ceiling and wall of any area they have to cut to run the PEX. In our particular situation they did not have to cut any wall paper since everythng was done in the ceiling. The sheet rock guy did a good job of patching and painting the entire ceiling in the two rooms and patched an area upstairs where a previous leak had to be patched that was not part of the replumb. We also had them install a couple of new bathroom fixtures we purchased while they replumbed and that was about $69 labor extra per fixture . The total tab was a little over $8200 with the extra fixture installations. and I really didn't get another quote since I felt comfortable these guys would do a good job and I didn't want to worry about finding a plumber to do the replumb and hot water heater and then go out and try to find a sheet rock guy to come in and do the patch work which is often hard to find to do small jobs. You might find someone a little cheaper but the fact that this is a turn key job makes it very convenient to get this job done with as little hassle as possible. Cary Plumbing was very clean and covered the carpet with plastic where they had to walk and took shoes off when going on carpet . They completed the project as they had indicated in the estimate ( in 5 days ) and were very professional.. I would recommed these guys since this is something that they do every day and are reliable and do what they say they will do which is often not the case with dealing with some companies.
Description of Work: Used Cary Plumbing to replumb the entire house with PEX to replace the PVC piping that was installed when house was constructed and replace existing gas water heater in the 3rd story attic wiht a new tankless water heater and relocated to the crawl space.

People installing washing machine broke a water line. I called Cary Plumbing, within an hour a plumber was on site, and had fixed my line quickly. Very professional, very quick. Seemed like a reasonable price being a Sunday afternoon. He also gave some good advice on some other related plumbing question. I'll definitely call them again.

The scheduling process was a breeze. They were available to come at my earliest availability to meet them. The plumber called 15 minutes before he arrived, and arrived within the scheduled service window. He was here for just over an hour. The service call was $85 and parts made up the rest of the cost. I did not price compare with other companies, as the quoted price I got on the phone seemed reasonable, so I do not know how this repair cost would have compared with other plumbers.
Description of Work: The T&P valve in my hot water heater was leaking. Cary Plumbing diagnosed the issue as too much water pressure. They replaced the pressure valve and the T&P Valve. They said that the expansion tank could have been damaged, but didn't recommend replacing until they could test it out. In the end the expansion tank was not damaged and did not have to replaced, saving me about $80.

Cary Plumbing gave me a competetive estimate to remove and replace my leaking PB pipe (I got multiple quotes). Mike Waite, the estimator, was thorough and professional, and saw the project all the way through. The install crew was professional and worked fast. They did quality work, and cleaned up well. Cary Plumbing did a "turn key" job and had someone come in a few days later to repair drywall and repaint. Our house looks better than before the job. I felt Cary made a potentially messy and traunatic project smooth and relatively painless. I am happy with the quality of the owrk, their follow-up and the price. As a fussy customer they took my concerns seriously, and helped correct an unforseen issue that came up. My hot water Appollo heating system was duifficult to bleed the air out of after the job. They allow me to get my own HVAC tech to come in and fix at their expense. I felt this reflected their integrity. The only "complaint" I had, was that the repipe process left my crawlspace very wet and muddy, but I don't know how they could have avoided that. The day of the owrk was cold and wet, not the best weather. I had them install some new fixtures in the bath and kitchen during the repipe, and they did that for a nominal additional charge. If you have the grey PB pipe from the 1980s, you will want to get this done for peace of mind. You WILL have plumbing failure eventually. These guys know what they are doing, and do a lot of this work. Call them. I would use them again on any substantial plumbing needs. Very satisfied.

1 Toilet leaking badly from the tank when flushed and 1 toilet running intermittently. The plumbing technician arrived promptly, took apart the toilet and identified the problem (told me that the parts in the tank were very old and probably the originals); replaced the parts, reassembled and cleaned up. On the other toilet, he adjusted one of the parts. No problems since. All within an hour. He was very courteous and professional. I'd call Cary Plumbing without hesitation for future plumbing issues.

I had an issue with a clogged outdrain from the washer. They came and managed to plumb out the clog (roots). While they were here I had them install a sump pump I had purchased -- it was during this install that they discovered that a section of the supporting pipework under the house was damaged and they repaired it on the spot. They were very professional and explained everything they did along with options that were available. It turns out that they do gas line installation as well, as I found out by discussing my ongoing renovation project, part of which involved replacing an electric stove with a gas range and their pricing was less than that by the gas company. I went ahead and scheduled that as well and within two days had a new section of gas linerun and passed by the city inspector. All in all a very professional outfit that do quality work. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for plumbing or gas line work.

Cary Plumbing was very responsive and professional. They had the right people to do the job and knew the right materials to use. We had been talking with the city of Raleigh for years about the pipe and the right solution. Cary Plumbing talked with the city officials to be sure they had all the right permits and scheduled the right inspectors prior to the job beginning. When they were giving us the estimate, they had their specialist come out to inspect the job site before giving us an estimate. They also made sure we knew what was and wasn't included. For example, we needed to remove a section of our chain link fence for the machinery to install the pipe. They made sure we knew this was not included so we could schedule someone to come and remove it and later put it back. Infinity Fence took care of this for us. Earthsafe Solutions also put in some rip rap over the disturbed earth for us because it is a wet creek when it rains...... Cary Plumbing handles plumbing not fencing or landscaping.
Description of Work: Replace a sewer line that runs through a dry creek with a ductile iron pipe. Job involved digging out the old PVC pipe and putting in the 20 foot ductile iron pipe below the level of the dry creek. The old pipe was exposed and in danger of breaking. This job involved numerous permits and dealing with city red tape which Cary Plumbing handled well. They also had to use an excavator and a special person to do the core drilling.

I called up and was reached back by the owner. I explained the necessary work and discussed the rough quote. One of their guys came the next morning and did the estimation and explained me the quote in detail. The final quote had to be discussed with the owner. He was kind to give a huge discount on a new water heater and didn't charge me for the installation as it would have to be done as part of plumbing replacement. In addition the sheet rock guy would be someone whom they knew and was reliable, the cost being included in the estimation. The work commenced on the promised day at exact time and was finished the following day other than sheetrock repair. The 3rd day sheet rock repair person came and finished all the work the same day. Once the walls dried up I had concern on one of the spots about the appearance being uneven. They contacted the sheet rock repairmen who came again and explained me the difference. The issue was related to the ceiling construction and not to the sheet rock repair. I wrote the check after the new plumbing system was explained to me in detail as regards the stop valves, general care and a thorough inspection. I definitely liked their professionalism, punctuality and importance to customer satisfaction. I strongly recommed them as they were not only the best quote amongst four estimates but also very fair in approach and work ethic.

I noted a few abnormally-high water bills so I called Cary Plumbing. They sent a technician out within a day or two who immediately diagnosed the problem as a failed water supply line running from my meter to my home. He provided me an estimate and within, say, a week, the company was back out to lay a new line. It was truly a turn-key affair for me as I didn't have to do anything - Cary Plumbing was awesome! Now, I am not wasting a ton of water in a failed underground line. I highly recommend this company for your work!
