Description of Work: The technition added Freon to my unit. He was very professional and helpful. He told me about a problem with my heating unit. Said to have repaired before winter which I intend to do.

Description of Work: Replaced HVAC system in one day. They were on time and did complete disassembly and installation of replacement furnace and air conditioner. No mess left. Nice and professional.

Description of Work: C& K came out and determined that the coil went out in our upstairs a/c unit in the heat of summer and had to be replaced. Rather than looking at it and quickly giving a diagnoses, they tested for refrigerant leaking. They charged the unit temporarily to give me time to get competitive estimates. C&K Heat and Air gave us a better price and a better brand of coil than other competitive estimates. They were quick and easy to work with. Other competitive estimates averaged $400-700 higher to install a lower quality off-brand coil. My only constructive comment is that it took several months for them to send us a bill. The unit worked like a charm once installed!

He taped up some vents and took a look at our almost 30 year old furnace. We know it needs to be replaced and he was friendly and gave us some prices for some replacement units in different price ranges. Overall nice visit.

We decided to switch from all-electric to a gas furnace. They came out and installed the furnace and air conditioning system in one day. He discovered that my old furnace was very poorly installed, and he did not want to take the responsibility to service it because there were serious problems with the whole system. He gave me an estimate for the reinstallment or replacement of the furnace. |Based on price and financing offers I went with another company, but I appreciated C&K's evaluation.
