It was an excellent experience. I have used them several times and they are above excellent. My husband is a Vietnam veteran and disabled. After they finished he went to the bathroom and he said, “We don’t have hot water!” I thought they did something with the gas, so I called Chris and I said, “I don’t have hot water!” He immediately came and he checked, and it was just something that my old water heater decided to die on me. He ran to the store, he bought it and he put it free. They come every year. They were good because they were providing the 0% financing. So, it was easy on me to have the two units. They had a deal with a finance company. The system is working very well. If there is a problem, they come immediately and fix it. I didn’t call several companies, but I called them, and I liked them.

AC went out . Technician came promptly as scheduled. He was professional , no nonsense, not trying to push a new AC unit off on me. Got the job done in about an hour and AC working again just great on my 28 year old AC unit. Price reasonable for labor and parts including adding Freon. I've used them before and had a great experience. Will continue to use and appreciate this reliable company

They are always punctual, reliable and honest. The workers are very friendly and forthright. The thing we like the most is being able to trust their recommendations. We have been with them for a while, so it’s been several seasons in a row with them.

Chris and team did a great job. I couldn't recommend them more, EXCEPT: They made a mistake and did not realize I needed a larger line when going from a 4-ton to a 5-ton unit. Their estimate did not reflect it and by the time they realized the mistake, they were in the middle of the job. Kudos to them for at lest telling me! I wound up running a line on the outside of the house and putting a downspout around it. Chris paid for it and discounted the overall bill. Looks very professional - and I am picky. Please remember to ask questions and push your contractors and for goodness sake BE THERE when they do the work. They need your help

The work went extremely well. C & K had Jeff (the service technician) on site in less than two hours. Jeff completed his diagnostic service and explained corrective measures. I am very pleased with the entire process, especially the courteous service provided.

Jeff arrived on time and quickly discovered several problems: 1) a return duct that was not connected properly and so was bringing attic air into the unit, 2) a piece of sheet metal was blocking half the outflow of the unit, 3) intake ducts were blocked by pillows. He also added Freon to the unit. Very professional and knowledgeable. Great service. Highly recommend.

Jeff was the man! Friendly and very informative consultant! Serviced 2 HVAC units, fixed issue with backed up water in HVAC tray which was causing rattling noise in fan motor. Cleared water jam using nitrogen tank, Inspected and cleaned both units (indoor and outdoors) and refilled freon in one of them. All went well and both units are now functioning at their optimum levels. Cleaned up after the job was done.

Jeff Bumpas (HVAC Specialist) is perhaps the most capable, talented and knowledgeable HVAC technician I've known. He is straightforward, honest, and thoroughly reliable, a solid asset and credit to C & K management - both Sam and Chris Kirk. The installation of two new Trane AC systems, while not inexpensive, was highly competitive in price and installed with professional care and precision. Oversight of this extensive rework was performed by Jeff Bumpas who expertly reviewed all work in typical meticulous fashion. This was a great experience, from the first call to the office through the problem being fixed. Within 3 hours of calling, the repairmen arrived to assess and fix the problem. They were polite and very competent, and gave us helpful information regarding the repair. I thought the cost was quite reasonable. Definitely will use again!

J.J. was totally AWESOME!!! Incredibly professional and timely in the work that was done. J.J. accepted the $25 off coupon with no ?'s asked - actually J.J. was the one who reminded me that they offered the coupon! He was super nice and offered many helpful suggestions - my dog was super barky and loud and J.J. acted like it did not phase him or offend him one bit - LOVE C & K Heat & Air = it is a wonderful & very professional business - they came the same day they were called & provided an excellent service with a very fair & reasonable price - ask for J.J. - He is the BEST!!!

I scheduled an appointment on 6/13 for a leaking A/C unit & check of the additional two units in our home, and was given a 12-4pm window on 6/15. I called to confirm the appointment at 11:30am on 6/15, and was home for the entire duration of the appointment window. Not only did the technician never arrive, I never received a phone call day-of or day after to explain or reschedule. I've never run into this problem with such a highly rated company on Angie's List.

I contacted this company for a second opinion on a repair issue. C&K informed me that the repair suggested by another HVAC company wasn't needed at this time. This saved me about $500 in unneeded repair costs. The technician also provided me a quote in case I wanted or needed to make the repair at some point in the future. He was very professional and seemed very knowledgeable. I've utilized another HVAC company for several years but had become very unhappy with their customer service. This was my first time to contact C&K, and I will definitely contact them in the future for any HVAC issues or maintenance.

They showed up promptly. Covered carpets. Quoted about 5 hours and finished in 3 hours. Work was expertly done and all mess cleaned up. Very pleased.

Did A/C tune up cleaning filter and outside unit. Unit was not cooling properly, Capacitor was bad and circuit breaker was failing. Added Freon to unit. JJ and Oscar we both very professional in performance of their duties, answered all of my questions and left the work areas very clean.

Never used this service nor Angie's List before. But very pleased with the outcome. Save me some time looking for a professional and service that know what they are doing.

If I wasn't lazy, I would have happily written a recommendation back in February 2014. But this week, C&K went ABOVE AND BEYOND to ensure that our gas problem was fixed and their installed system was still running smoothly. Thank you, thank you, thank you Chris and team!!
